Chapter 4 FLED WITH THE BABY

" Why should I give you the child? Leave him here" She said go the nurse. " But Ma'am, You have to give me the baby" The nurse said Kindly.

" Why? It's my baby and I'm the one to decide if to give you or not" She rolled her eyes. " He isn't your baby" The Nurse told her.

" Are you kidding me?" Emily scoffed. " Didn't they explained anything to you? You are only to give birth to the child and hand him over to Mr. Harry. He already paid you"

" You mean my job was to carry the pregnancy and give birth to it and then hand him or her over to Him?" She asked confusingly. " Yes" The nurse answered.

Emily was confused, she looked at the child who was sleeping soundly on her arms and then at the nurse.

" Alright, give me some minutes to say goodbye to him" She said and the Nurse left the Room.

Immediately she left, Emily came down from the bed. She put the baby on the bed and Hurriedly changed from the hospital gown to the gown she wore when she was brought to the hospital that morning.

She carried the baby and hurried out of the room. There were no Nurses outside and it was so easy for her to leave the hospital.

Emily Slowed down a taxi, she hoped in and gave him the address of the house she lived in all those months.

She arrived at the house Some minutes later but there was no money with her to pay the driver.

" Please wait for me here" She said and hurried inside the house. " Ma'am, you are back. Wow! It's a baby..." She ignored the maid that was welcoming her and hurried inside one of the rooms.

" I can't stay here, they'll take my child away from me" She put the baby on the bed and brought out some clothes from the wardrobe. She Put them unfold inside a travel bag, picked up her bag containing some cash, her Debit and credit cards and carried the baby.

" We are going away, far from here" She Dragged the bag out of the room. " Ma'am, are you going away?" The Maid asked her Surprisingly.

" Yes, I'm moving back to Harry's house" She lied. The maid didn't say anything again, she helped her carry the bag to the taxi and Emily left.

Emily sat in the back seat contemplating in where to go. She couldn't go home, her step mum and step sis won't accept her. They'll send her away if she go there and things would get worse if they see her with a child.

If only her Dad was there, he would have accepted her. But unfortunately, Her Dad didn't make it out of the surgery. There was only one place which Emily could go and that was her Best friend's place. She wasn't sure if her friend would accept her too because it has been long they last saw.

" Take me here" She showed the Address to the taxi driver. Her friend has moved from her previous place and she sent Emily her new address two years ago.

" But this is very far from the city" The driver objected. " Please take me there, it's urgent" She pleaded with him. " You would have to pay double" He said and she agreed. " I'll pay whatever you request" She Said Worriedly.

" Alright then" She heaved a sigh of relief when they left the City. She couldn't imagine what would have happened if Harry got a hold of her and the baby.

She looked at her baby who was still sleeping soundly. His Smooth Beautiful face was like that of Harry but his little lips was like Emily's.

She touched his cheeks and he moved. Emily Giggled, it felt so Good holding her baby in her arms.

" What should I call you?" She Looked at the baby. " Jeffery. I'll call you Jeff" She giggled. " My sweet innocent Jeff, Sorry you won't have to see your Dad for now" She sighed and rested her head on the seat.

It was an hour and some minutes drive to her friends house which was another town outside the city. It was a very big town but with the address, The driver found the house Quickly.

Emily got down from the car, she paid the driver and thanked him.

" You are welcome. I can see you've got a baby. Congratulations" He said to her and she smiled. " Thank you" He drove out of the province. It was a big province with many houses in it. There were many people there and each of them went about with their activities.

The houses there were beautiful. Each houses has a garden of flowers. Emily pushed the mini white gate and dragged the bag with her right hand and her baby on the left. He was wrapped in a baby towel and only his face was showing.

She stood in front of the door and took in a deep breath before knocking.

" Hold on" Came a voice from the house. It was her friends voice. Emily stood erected, waiting for her friends reaction when she opens the door. The door opened and a skinny tall girl appeared on the door. She was wearing a bum shot, Crop top with her hair parked in to a bun.

" Emily Louis!" She Exclaimed. It has been two years since they last saw but none of them has changed. " Hi, Belle" Emily waved with a smile. " How did... wow! Come in" Belle helped her with the bag. She didn't notice the baby on Emily's arm as they went inside the house.

Her interior view was so Beautiful. Belle doesn't take last when it comes to decorations. She only has three medium sized Maroon sofas in the sitting room and a white fur carpet on the floor.
