Chapter 3 Another Encounter

THE NEXT DAY

Miley moaned as she rubbed her eyes with her fingers.

'I'm so tired and I have a big headache.." She groaned and sat up.

"Gosh!" She groaned again when she remembered that it was today she had to meet with that fiance of hers.

The door suddenly swung open and Kelly rushed in still in her nightgown.

"Hey bae.." She called but Kelly immediately threw the phone to her immediately.

"Hey, what happened? Why are you acting this way?" She asked.

"Check it out yourself.." Kelly said and she sighed. She took the phone and within a sec, her eyes widened.

"What?!" She yelled and that was then the memories started pouring in.

"FAMOUS MODEL MILEY CRYUS WAS SEEN EXTREMELY DRUNK IN A BAR AND IN THE PROCESS OF HER BEING DRUNK, SHE PUCKED ON THE NATIONAL STAR "SINGER RYAN WINTHROP! WORSE! SHE EVEN KISSED HIM! Here are the photos below.."

"What's this? This are ridiculous headlines!"

"MODEL MILEY DRUNKENLY HARRASSES THE NATIONAL TREASURE "RYAN"

"Kelly, What's this? I mean I was drunk yesternight! I didn't even mean to kiss him and here are some ridiculous headlines about it.." Miley said.

"That's not the problem here. I have been getting calls from all the companies you are supposed you are working with and they threatened to withdraw the endorsement if you don't clear the issue within the next twenty four hours.." Kelly said and Miley groaned. She ran her hands into her hair.

Her eyes moved to the clock and she gasped. It was already 12pm and she is to meet with her so called fiancee by 1PM.

"Gosh, Kel, I'm late already. I'll catch you later.." Miley said and then she rushed into the bathroom.

THIRTY MINUTES LATER

Miley hurriedly wore her earrings and applied a pink lipstick on her lips. She didn't bother to apply makeup. She packed her hair into a bun, grabbed her bag and then ran out.

She got into her car and immediately hopped into it, then she drove off.

"Gosh, why am I late? My plan will get ruined. I have to do everything to get in my in - laws good books cause they are the key to success of my mission.." She said with a smirk and she sped off.

CRYUS'S MANSION.

Laura came downstairs, dressed beautifully. Her husband was beside her and they smiled as they walked downstairs.

"Welcome Xander.." Laura said and a handsome middle aged man stood up smiling.

"It's my pleasure.." He said and they smiled.

"Meet my sis, Aileen.." He introduced a beautiful lady in her early forties.

"Hello.." She greeted and they all smiled.

"So where's Ryan?" Laura asked.

"Oh! That boy! He's stuck on something but he's already on his way.." Xander said.

"And your daughter?" Xander asked.

"Yes, she's been busy but she's on her way soon.." Laura said, praying inwardly that Miley comes.

"Actually, there's something interesting going on about the kids on social media, it's about.." The door bell rang and the maids went to get in. Ryan walked in dressed in all white. He was looking handsome and hot and as usual, he wore the cold look on his face.

"Welcome.." Laura gushed. She stood up and ran to embrace him but he stopped her by placing his hand on her shoulder.

"It's only person that gets to hug me and she's dead, I'll appreciate it if you don't try it again.." He whispered to her and Laura's heart skipped.

She faked a smile and touched his shoulder.

"How was your journey?" She asked and he removed her hand from his shoulder.

He didn't answer. His eyes went to an empty seat which was a bit far from them and he sat there.

"Where is she?" He asked.

"Oh Miley. She's.."

"I'm here.." The feminine voice was heard and everyone turned to her. Ryan's eyes widened when he saw her.

Miley's smile faded when she saw him.

"What's happening?" She thought.

Ryan stood up immediately.

"You!" They both chorused.
