Chapter 2 First time in the NBA

Giannis Antetokounmpo arrived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with big dreams and a lot of hope. He had grown up in Greece, where he had played basketball on the streets with his brothers. He had always dreamed of playing in the NBA, the best basketball league in the world. And now, he was finally getting his chance.

Giannis was nervous as he walked into the Milwaukee Bucks' practice facility for the first time. He had watched the NBA on TV and knew that the players were bigger, stronger, and faster than he was. But he had worked hard to get here, and he was determined to give it his all.

The first practice was intense. Giannis struggled to keep up with the pace and physicality of the game. He was used to playing against kids his own age, not against grown men who had been playing basketball their entire lives.

But Giannis didn't give up. He worked harder than anyone else on the team, staying after practice to work on his shooting, his footwork, and his conditioning. And slowly but surely, he began to improve.

The Bucks' coach, Jason Kidd, saw something special in Giannis. He saw a young player with incredible potential, someone who could become one of the best players in NBA
