Chapter 6 Rivals

@ THE CAFETERIA**

The students queued to get their lunch. Different dishes were been served.

Red rice cakes (Tteokbokki), Rameon, Kimchi fried rice, Kimchijeon (Kimchi pancakes), Kimchi jjigae (Kimchi stew), Bulgogi, Gimbap, Jajangmyeon, Bibimbap, Samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup), Korean fried chicken, and many more...

Among those that queued for Tteokbokki were Yeon and Christine.

Yeon got his own first, and he went to sit on the table for two that he reserved for himself and Christine.

Christine also was served and as soon as he turned to go, he bumped into someone, and the food poured all over the girl. Actually, the girl bumped into him instead.

Christine looked up and his gaze met with Sophie, whose eyes were already filled with tears that are threatening to fall at anytime.

The food was really hot that she nearly screamed out loud.

Yeon stood up in a hurry, and rushed to where they both stood.

"What the fvck! I'm deeply sorry. Please, I didn't mean to do this to you... let's go to the clinic, you need to get treated immediately." Christine said and tried to hold Sophie's hand but she moved a little bit away from him.

"Don't fvcking touch me you rascal!. How dare you!?... I know you did this on purpose, and I promise to get back to you. You'll surely pay for this." Sophie yelled and tried to walk away, but Christine got hold of her hand. She turned immediately and landed a slap on his cheek.

"Next time, don't try to touch me." She said, and eventually walked out of the cafeteria.

"How did it happened?? It was your mistake right??" Yeon asked Christine, who was busy caressing his cheek.

"It wasn't my mistake. She walked into me, not the other way round. I even apologized for her mistake yet she slapped me?? Who the hëll does she think she is??!" Christine yelled, and Yeon covered his mouth.

"Keep your voice down. You're shouting." Yeon said, and Christine flung away his hand.

"So??... Oh! She mustn't hear what I said, right?? Come on, why are you all afraid of them?? It's not like they're god that you must worship. They're she-devils instead." Christine said, and walked out of the cafeteria.

Yeon stood at a spot as he doesn't know who to support or who's right.

His longtime crush, Sophie or his friend, Christine??

HOURS LATER**

Christine was on his way to the lecture room when Yeon called his name and he stopped. Yeon ran to catch up with him.

"Are you going somewhere??" He asked, and Christine raised a brow.

"I remember telling you that I have a lecture to attend." Christine said.

"Oh! I'm sorry I forgot. So when will you be done??" Yeon asked, and Christine shrugged.

"I don't know. It's a two hours lecture, but I heard that the lecturer doesn't release students easily. I guess I'll be back by evening." Christine said and Yeon gasped.

"Evening??" He asked, and Christine nodded.

"But this is just 12pm, why evening??" Yeon asked again, and Christine shrugged.

"Just saying." He said, and started walking away as Yeon stood at a spot while watching him leaves.

★ Journalism and Mass Communication lecture room. ★

The students were already seated as they awaits the lecturer's arrival.

Christine folded his arms akimbo as he closed his eyes, listening to music from his headphone. Seo-jin tapped his shoulder gently, and he opened his eyes.

"Are you sleeping?? The lecturer will be here soon, and what he hate is student sleeping in his class." Seo-jin said, and Christine scoffed.

"Who said I'm sleeping??" He asked, and closed his eyes back.

The lecturer entered into the class, carrying two camera packs, and everyone became silent.

"Here we are again today guys. Today, we'll be learning the use of camera." The lecturer said, and he brought out a Canon EOS 650D Camera.

"This camera captures both video and photograph." He said, and he placed it gently on the table. He then brought out the second one, which is Nikon Camera D7200.

"This one here captures only photographs. So let's get started." He said as the students watched and listened with keen interest.

"First of all, I'll teach you how to handle a camera. The number one way you should follow is to keep your elbows together against your chest. After that, your left hand should be under the lens, rather than on the side. Just like this." He showed them what he's trying to make them understand, before he continued.

"After you've done that, lean slightly into the camera and hold it tight against your forehead, then keep your legs open. Same thing for shooting portrait. I hope you all understand??" He asked, and they all chorused 'yes sir'.

"Alright, let's move to the next step which is the different types of photography. Before I proceed, I need someone to give us some of the types of photography." The lecturer said, and just at that moment, the 'S' stars entered into the lecture room.

"Well done sir." Sophie said as they headed to their seats.

"You've never attend my lectures since I started teaching, so to what do I owe this impromptu attendance??" The lecturer asked, and Samantha shrugged.

"We just decided to attend today, since we have nothing else to do." She said, and the lecturer smiled.

"Alright... so guys, let's continue. I said who can tell me some of the types of photography we have??" He asked again, but no one made an attempt to stand up and reply his question.

Christine took his pen and a rough sheet of paper, then he started writing the ones he remembered.

Seo-jin saw everything he wrote and she immediately raised up her hand.

"Yes, Bong Seo-jin, stand up and tell us what you've got." The lecturer said, and Seo-jin stood up.

"Architectural Photography, Sports Photography, Still life Photography, and Editorial Photography." She said, and Christine smiled.

The lecturer clapped his hands continuously as he muttered 'wow'.

"That's so awesome! Have your seat." He said, and Seo-jin bowed in smile before sitting down.

"Who else can tell us another type??" The lecturer asked, and Samantha stood up.

"Portrait Photography, Photojournalism, Fashion Photography, Landscape Photography, Travel Photography, and many more sir." She said, and the lecturer was really surprised.

"Wow! Daebak! (Awesome!) You really swept me off my feet. Sit down sit down." He said, and Samantha smiled as she sat down back.

"Any other suggestions??" The lecturer asked, and Christine stood up, Sophie also stood up at that same moment.

"Abstract Photography."

"Abstract Photography." They both mentioned at a time, and stared at each other.

"Wow! Guess you must be thinking the same thing. Anyways, one of you should sit back. I need only one person." The lecturer said, and they glared at each other.

Both of them expecting the other to sit back for one.

"Okay. Sophie should sit back. We all know that you're a brilliant girl, so let's hear from him." The lecturer said, and Sophie rolled her eyes before sitting down.

"Alright, you, what's your name??" The lecturer asked Christine.

"Kang Christine sir."

"Oh! Okay, go on."

"We have Abstract Photography, Nature Photography, Black and White Photography, and lastly, Contemporary Photography." Christine said, and the lecturer nodded in smile.

"You may have your seat." He said, and Christine sat down.

"Alright, you guys did awesomely well. I'm so impressed... anyways, let's proceed to the next step which is the Styles of Photography, and they are Lifestyle Photography, Documentary Style Photography, Traditional or Posed Photography, and Artistic." He paused to see their reactions, and when he noticed their cooperation, he proceeded.

"I'll explain these four styles to you guys, so listen attentively..." and he continued.
