Chapter 5 Kill You!

At first, Alexa had hoped that the news she heard was just a nightmare. But after hearing Gerry's confession, it turned out that the nightmare was a painful reality.

Alexa immediately sat herself on the sofa, feeling dizzy once again. Not because of physical illness, but because she was thinking about the fate of the company managed by her father.

"If you had told me earlier, I could have helped you solve this problem faster, Dad. But instead, I only found out about it now, one week after the fire happened," she said.

The reason Gerry did not tell Alexa about the fire in his company building was that he didn't want his daughter to bear the burden of the problem. He knew that Alexa had just had an accident, and he was afraid of making his daughter even more sick because of the problem.

"Your dad has told you that he is trying to solve the problem now. So, you don't have to worry, Honey," said Kania, trying to calm Alexa down.

Alexa was not stupid. She knew how big the loss Gerry had suffered from the fire that burned down the main building of his biggest company. And she also knew that her father would not be able to solve such a big problem easily.

"Dad, do you know Aldebaran?"

Finally, Alexa asked Gerry about it.

"Aldebaran Smith? Did he tell you about my situation, Alexa?" Gerry asked back. He immediately asked that question of Alexa because he really knew Aldebaran as the son of his business enemy.

"Yes, he told me about your situation and offered great help to you, Dad. What if we accept his offer?" she replied, with a confident expression on her face.

Gerry immediately shook his head and walked towards Alexa.

"No, I will never accept his offer. I don't want to hand you over to him just because of the offer he made, Alexa. You are my daughter, and I don't want to let you marry just anyone."

However, Gerry firmly refused the offer. He didn't want to sacrifice Alexa's life for his business affairs.

"Dad, believe me, it's not a difficult condition. Aldebaran comes from a respectable family, just like us. Even if I marry him because of business reasons, my life won't be too bad later. Please forget about your business enemy; we're in trouble now. Let's accept his offer and solve your problem as soon as possible."

Alexa tried to convince Gerry with a serious expression. She was willing to marry Aldebaran if it meant saving her father's company, knowing that he didn't have any better options now.

"I'm trying to seek help from my friends to solve this problem, Alexa. Please don't think about Aldebaran's crazy offer," Gerry refused her once again.

Alexa tried to smile, then hugged Gerry.

"There's no other choice, Dad. Give me your blessing so I can marry Aldebaran to solve your problem. Let me sacrifice myself for you this time, Dad."

At that moment, Alexa tried to hold back her tears. This was a huge decision that involved her life. She had to convince herself to marry her ex-boyfriend to save her father's company.

"Trust me, Dad. Everything will be okay."

A few days later...

A wedding party was being celebrated luxuriously and magnificently. All the guests cheered joyfully for the wedding of Aldebaran and Alexa.

After exchanging their vows, Alexa's and Aldebaran's families held a party at a private beach and hotel owned by Aldebaran.

Everyone looked happy and joyful, except for Alexa, who wore a fake smile when shaking hands with the guests and being with her family.

"Belle...."

Alexa called Belle as she saw her walking towards her.

Belle immediately hugged Alexa tightly, even shedding tears now.

"I know this is a very difficult choice for you, Alexa. Honestly, if I could help you, I wouldn't let you marry Aldebaran just because of business problems," she said amidst her crying.

Hearing Belle's sincere words, Alexa smiled. She tried to control her emotions so as not to cry and be seen by the guests.

"It's okay, Belle. I'm fine. You know, if I marry Aldebaran, my ex-boyfriend, even though everything is different now, I will try to make this marriage work as well as I can," she replied.

In reality, Alexa herself was very unsure about what she said. She knew that Aldebaran now resented her after the reunion, and his attitude had clearly shifted. She also thought that he might do something to hurt her because of his resentment.

Belle let go of her embrace and looked at Alexa's face.

"I don't know, I feel like Aldebaran is not as good as before, Alexa. From the information I got from Jason, he said that Aldebaran has a very bad attitude. Honestly, I am hesitant about your relationship with Aldebaran now."

Alexa shook her head. "Don't worry, Belle, I'm fine. Now, let's meet my parents. They want to meet you," she replied, changing the topic of conversation.

After hugging Alexa, Belle left her and walked away.

Alexa felt lonely once again at that moment. She was very unsure about her marriage with Aldebaran now, as everything felt empty and hollow to her.

"Have you met all the guests?" Aldebaran approached Alexa. Earlier, he had left her alone in the middle of the party to talk to his colleagues.

Upon hearing the question, Alexa nodded her head in response.

Aldebaran then took Alexa's hand and held it tightly. "Good, now come with me. There's something I need to do to you," he said.

Aldebaran immediately took Alexa away from the party location, leaving the beach and entering the hotel.

In reality, Alexa felt pain when Aldebaran held her hand roughly. She repeatedly asked him to let her go, but Aldebaran only tightened his grip.

"Where are you taking me? The party isn't over yet, and I haven't met my parents," Alexa asked.

However, Aldebaran did not answer her question. He continued to drag Alexa along with him, ignoring the strange looks from people passing by.

Until finally, Aldebaran and Alexa arrived in front of a hotel room door.

After pressing the pin on the door, Aldebaran immediately dragged Alexa in and pushed her roughly to the floor.

"Ah!"

Alexa screamed loudly as her body hit the floor. She was still wearing a large party dress that made her movements feel constricted.

"Why did you push me? Are you trying to kill me now?"

And now, Alexa couldn't hold her emotions any longer. She yelled in front of Aldebaran's face, feeling angry about being treated badly.

Aldebaran walked towards Alexa who was still sitting on the floor. Then, he immediately grabbed Alexa's hair roughly, causing the crown she was wearing to fall off.

"It hurts, Aldebaran. Let go of my hair, my head is very painful now!" Alexa shouted. Her head was in a lot of pain from Aldebaran's rough pull.

However, Aldebaran ignored Alexa's screams. He even smiled happily when he saw Alexa in pain from his actions.

"Didn't you challenge me earlier, Alexa? And yeah, I'm going to hurt you, then kill you now!"
