Chapter 3 Flashback

As Ashina stood amidst the ruins of the palace, she couldn't help but think back to a time when Zuih was a place of peace and prosperity. She remembered the bright skies, the warm sun, and the laughter of her people as they went about their daily lives.

Zuih was a city of werewolves and humans, protected by high walls that kept them safe from the dangers of the outside world. Inside those walls, the people of Zuih lived in harmony, working together to build a better life for themselves and their families.

Ashina nodded, pulling herself out of her memories. She knew that Adira was right. Zuih was in grave danger, and they needed to find a way to defeat the vampire threat once and for all.

Ashina had listened intently, her father's words filling her with a sense of pride and purpose. She had always known that her home was special, but her father's words had given her a new appreciation for the high walls that surrounded their city.
