Chapter 5 Stranger in black

Nami silently went to where princess Bella is sat and whispered to her.

"Princesses?" She called silently and bell bend back to reach her.

"Yes?"

"It's time to go your chambers" she told her.

"Already?" She asked surprised not wanting to leave yet.

"The sun is coming up and you need to get a nap to prepare for the wedding" her maid tried to explain.

"Oh wedding" she said with a smile and told her this

"Give me a second then"

"Yes princess" Nami said obeying her command.

"I would be on my way prince Lucas, I need to get ready for our wedding" she explained to him and he stood up immediately.

"Sure go ahead my princess"

He gave a little bow and kissed her hands to let her go.

Princess Bella carefully stepped down from her sit so that she won't trip on her gown, it would be very embarrassing if she did so. Also embarrassing herself in front of her husband is that last thing she wants to do.

Desmond watched her go and smiled, then turned back to sit down when he noticed that someone is watching him, curiously he turned and his eyes met with his father's he ignored it and sat back on the sit, while watching the dancers absentminded.

In his head, he is still thinking about what to do?

Nami and bella walked through the hallway without no guards and she won't stop talking about her to be husband, Nami got tried about it after sometimes and she just wanted it to stop.

"...and his hands? They are more in two and half size of my hands, I was so surprise did you see his eyes? They were so blue" she complimented him although their Walk to the room.

"No I couldn't see it, u wasn't the one beside him" Nami told her.

"What about his voice when he was reading the engagement command?" She said and covered her mouth.

"It was like every male's normal voice" Nami tried to explain

"I am so lucky" age said jumping.

"I am just happy that you like your husband"

"What about the wedding dress? I need to make sure that it fits perfectly" she told her looking into her eyes.

"Oh! I almost forgot wait for me in the room let me go get it"

"Okay hurry up I can't afford to be bored"

"Sure!?" Nami ran so that she won't keep the princess waiting she ran.

Princess bell entered her room and sat on her bed daydreaming about how her marriage would be, she likes her husband and she is sure that he likes her too.

She can't wait to get married she really can't wait.

She heard slow footsteps from behind the door and wondered who is there to be walking so slow.

"Nami? Nami is that you?"

She got up from her bed and made her way to the door, as soon as she opened the door a figure entered and she screamed.

The man in question was really quick he covered her mouth and dragged her inside the room, then shut the door.

"Who are you?" She said panicking.

"Were is the nearest palace exit?" She man just said and placed a knife in front of her neck to threaten her.

"Do you think I would tell you?" She said To him brave.

"I have a blade in front of your neck" he reminded her

She gasps as her neck touched the knife, no she won't want any scare.

"Answer my question" she told her angrily.

"Go over my window and go behind the servant quarters you would see the exit" she explained so that he can get the knife from her neck

"You better not be lying" he til her

"I am not why would I?"

He pushed her to the floor and she held his leg she won't let him go off without a fight so she held his clothes and tore it and with that same leg he pushed her away.

But she saw something, she saw his leg he has a scare, talking a last look at her her through his mask he jumped off her window and left.

She sat on the floor trying to catch her breath

"Who is he? He wondered"

The two kings stood up to depart from the engagement and also to get ready for the wedding, Desmond noticed this and walked up to them with chan behind him.

"Thank for tonight"

"Thank you also" they exchange pleasantries.

"We would see you in the midnight then" Desmond's father told him

"Yes please, the maids would show you your chambers" Bella's father said.

"No a king must not sleep over in another palace, I would be on my way immediately to my kingdom and comeback before midnight" king Nabrana said to Bella's father with a smile

"Okay do that and I would ba expecting you" Bella's father told them and nodded

"Prince Lucas, then I would see you in the midnight my future son in law" the king took his hands in his own hands

They all laughed while Desmond bowed in sorrow.

Lucas people's went out of the palace and saddled the houses, while others helped the queen and her maid with the carriage.

While Desmond was climbing on his own horse he saw a figure on a horse raiding out of the palace but he didn't read much meaning to it, there a lot of people that does that.

And this is the princess engagement so they is nothing suspicious about it.

"Desmond?" King Nabrana called

"Yes father?" Desmond replied standing in front of his father with his head bowed.

"After this marriage is over you can go back to your normal life, within today just remember that princess Bella isn't yours, I would find you are wife more beautiful that bella" the king told him

"Your grace is bountiful"

Desmond made a fist with his hands as he bowed his head, the voice kept reminding him.

"Bella isn't yours"
