Chapter 5 Threat

"I'm not your prostitute and you already have a girlfriend" she cried out in horror, not exactly knowing how she managed to find her voice after he said those words.

"Lena is not my girlfriend. She is one of my close friend's wife who is under my protection until her husband wraps up his business and comes here tomorrow. Yesterday she slept on the bed and I on the couch. I would have asked for separate rooms but I wanted to be close to her in order to keep an eye out for any possible danger to her life."

While Kate was processing the information, he continued "I'll never treat you like a prostitute. You are more precious than the rarest gems in this universe". She should have been flattered by his admission but it only made her more terrified than ever.

"You are way older than me..." she put up another wall, trying to win the battle of wits.

"I'll admit that I am a decade older than you...but age is only a number...dove....." he trailed off, a mischievous smirk claiming his face. She didn't know about anyone else but in his case, it was true. He looked brutally handsome and she was surprised to know that he didn't have a string of girlfriends tugging on his muscular arms.

"I....I already have a b-boyfriend and besides I don't think we would fit as a couple" she raised another objection, praying that he would leave her alone, even though it was a lie.

"The vibrator in your bedroom doesn't count as a boyfriend and if you are referring to me fitting inside you then let me tell you, a woman's cunt...is stretchable".

Her mouth dropped open as a blush crept up her neck at his crude utterance. He knew that she had a vibrator...that means that he went through her stuff. The second part of his answer almost gave her a heart attack because there was no way on earth that he was going to fit inside her without ripping her apart.

"I...I-I have to go" she strode past him, straight into her room, hoping that she would die of embarrassment that night.

But Quisito just stood there with his hands in the pockets, almost looking proud at his attempt to give her something to think about at night.

The next day morning, she was about to walk back into her room after bidding goodbye to pregnant Lena and her husband but someone yanked her by her hand and slammed her against the wall.

His touch was eerily familiar and she immediately recognized the man.

"So.... about my proposal last night...did you give it a thought?" Quisito asked as he caged her between him and the wall, by bracing his palms on the either side of her head.

"I'd rather die than give my body to you" Kate grunted as she arched her neck up to meet his gaze which was transfixed on her.

She was not going to let some stranger take her virginity when she already had someone in her heart – Chris. No it's not the actor but a guy who appeared frequently in her dreams. He gave her hope and had even promised to rescue her from the clutches of her caged life. To a foreign ear this might sound like the stupid fantasy of a teenager but she refused to think that Chris was nothing more than a figment of her imagination.

"Well then I have no choice but to tell your father what actually happened that night" Quisito said, making her eyes go wide as saucers.

"N-No...you..you promised not to tell" she began sobbing, helpless tears escaping her eyes.

"Some promises are meant to be kept and some are meant to be broken" he whispered in her ear and slowly retrieved into his room, leaving her heaving for breath. She knew he was pushing her buttons on purpose.

Wiping her unstoppable tears with the back of her hand she ran into her room. Closing the door shut behind her with a bang, she threw herself on the bed, crying hysterically.

Distant and dark memories of the past evaded her senses as she slowly drifted off to sleep.
