Chapter 7 Make him love her

As the morning sun rose, Isadora woke up to find a letter on her bed. She opened it and saw that it was from her husband, Devon. Her eyes lit up as she read the words addressed to her. She couldn't help but smile as she read the contents of the letter.

"Dear Dora, please get ready as soon as you can. I will come and pick you up. I want to take you to see someone, so please get ready quickly. I will come to pick you up very soon."

Devon couldn't help but smile as he listened to her reaction to his letter from the next room. Though he was eavesdropping, he wanted to see how she felt as she read his letter.

"Devon, are you sick?" Zarius shouted. Devon's mouth twitched in irritation. "I have never been sick, how could I be?" Zarius didn't reply and ran off without warning.

Devon couldn't help but think he ran mad. Daisy and Rose knocked on the door, and Rose spoke first. "Your Highness, have you woken up from your sleep? We need to get you ready because His Majesty has instructed us to do so."

"You may come in," Isadora replied. They rushed inside and prepared a bath for her. Before she knew it, she was well-bathed, and the dress she wore was beautiful. It was said that Devon bought it for her. It was a black long dress with a V-shaped off-shoulder cloth, and it was beautiful.

She let her curled hair down. The makeup she wore was not too much but okay. When she stared into her reflection, she couldn't help but thank Daisy and Rose for their work. They acted very nice to her, maybe because she was his majesty wife, but either way, she loved them both already.

As Devon walked into their chamber, the maids excused themselves, and Devon couldn't help but stare. She looked extremely beautiful. "Wow, I have to give your personal maids a raise in their salaries," he said. Isadora couldn't help but blush.

Devon helped her out of the room, and they went out. As the king and queen were walking side by side, he noticed that they were all more smiling at him than usual, yet he wondered why. Isadora wondered where they were going but decided not to ask.

They reached the other side of the palace in no time. "This place is where the king's relatives live. It's called the royal court," Devon said. And Dora just nodded her head. As she stepped inside the royal court, she couldn't help but feel amazed.

The royal court was made with glass, and it was beautiful. She looked around, and her eyes spotted a young woman. She had blonde golden hair, fair skin, slim lips, and her white gown brought out her features.

"The king and his queen have arrived," the royal messenger called out, and they all bowed their head to greet.

Without thinking, Dora shouted, "Loren!" and she happily waved her hand. "How did you know her name?" Devon asked. "I don't know. I just do. It seemed as if I knew her before. You can call it a lucky guess," Isadora replied.

Could all this be a coincidence? Lorenza and Fiona were best friends, and they were inseparable, and often he would get upset by how close they were. He recalled how Fiona had told him that if she ever left this world, she would never forget him, her best friend, and her family.

Lorenza was taken aback when Isadora called her. She was sure she didn't know this woman from anywhere. Isadora and Devon walked towards where Lorenza stood, and from the moment Isadora met her sapphire eyes, she knew she already liked her.

There was something about this woman that she loved. Lorenza pulled Isadora into a big hug, and Isadora returned it. "If you would excuse me, I need to go somewhere," Devon said and excused himself.

"It's a pleasure meeting you," Lorenza was the first to speak. "Same here," Isadora replied. Have you heard the rumors?" Lorenza asked. "Oh yes, I have heard about it," Isadora replied. "No, not that," Lorenza said. "I'm talking about the fact that our king smiled this morning."

Isadora looked confused. "What's so special about that?" she asked. "I see you don't know,but since you are his wife you deserve to know"Lorenza said Lorenza took a deep breath.

"You see, years ago, our dear king was in love. The woman he fell in love with happened to be my best friend. She was kind-hearted, free-spirited, and had a heart of gold. But they couldn't be together, and that's something I can't tell you. "

"They loved each other dearly, and she died because if she didn't, he would die. Long story cut short, she died, and he believes he can bring her back. But we don't know how. It seems as she died, all her images of her were wiped off from existence, and we can't remember how she looks like."
