Chapter 5 5

At the end of recess Lía, I walk cheerfully through the narrow corridor of the university.

While he felt some stones under his feet, when he turned around he found Julián. She couldn't help but smile, being alone with him was one of the moments that most excited her in the day.

"Hello again," he said, and she looked at him curiously.

"Hello, are you going to eat?"

"Yeah, actually I'm going to do it alone." My friends go home; which is close to them and I rather stay a little further away and some do not like the menu of the university.

"It's pretty far for me, too," she said with a shrug.

The truth was, it was cheap.

"Aren't you coming with Leandro...?"

"No, I don't know where he's gone," he said with a shrug.

Julián, I smile when I see that I was alone.

"Can I join you for lunch?" Lía looked at him with eyes wide open like two porcelain cups. I smile, and he nodded euphorically.

-I'd love to. But then she realized that she had sounded very enthusiastic. He looked down, and contributes a bit of Julián.

-How old are you..? I ask suddenly, as they walk through a chemistry building.

"I'm 23 years old," she said, and he watches curiously.

"I'm 18.

" "I'm many years older than you," she said embarrassed.

-Yes, but I think it's never too late to study.

"I'm a health and safety technician, but it's a bit difficult to get a job so I preferred to continue studying engineering," she said sincerely.

-You don't look that age, the truth is that you look more my age.

"Why did you give me those papers with the names of the suitors and the numbers?" I ask suddenly and he observed.

"Because they made me," he said amused, and walked ahead of her.

-It's ok don't worry.

The living room was quite extensive. Large windows adorned the outside.

She didn't pay too much attention to the decoration, she just walked in and the noise of people invaded her.

-If you want we can sit at that table, there's no one.

"Come on fast!" that way they don't win us the place.

"I'll look for the two menus."

He walked away, while she felt like it was some kind of date.

"I wish I had a candle, and it would all look so romantic," she enthused.

And for a few minutes, he approached again, or the two trays in his hands with two menus.

"How fast," she said, a little surprised.

"Here's a soda for you and one for me."

"You are very sweet," she said.

"My heart jumped," he thought.

Julian watched her, but said nothing.

"I know," he said amused.

Lía confessed:

"Also... you're cute," she commented suddenly, unable to believe what she had mentioned.
