Chapter: 2

I snap my eyes open when I feel a movement beside me, only to see my babies cuddling up from either side. They are adorable with their lips slightly agape; I could not stop the grin taking over my face. This is how my morning is supposed to be, which gives me a truck load of positive energy that is more than enough to push forward through the entire day.

Making sure not to wake them up, I move out of the bed and cover them up with blanket and pillows around, once I was sure that I have tucked them up safely, I parade towards the bathroom to kick start the day.

Getting ready with my office attire and pairing up it with my Louboutin heels. I make my way downstairs to check up on the breakfast preparation.

"Good morning, Mary, is the breakfast ready". I ask my cook.

"Morning Ms. Spencer yes, it's almost done".

"Are the kids up"? She asks, Mary is a kind lady in her early 50's. She is the one I trust my kids with, in my absence.

"Not yet, but they will be up soon. Please fix the breakfast while I get them down".

I make my way upstairs, and enter the room to see Evelyn already up and staring at her brother with an adorable pout on her face, I smile and move towards the bed, sensing my presence my baby turned around and grinned widely with her sparkly eye brightening up even more.

"Morning mommy", she sing sang the greeting in a muffled voice.

"Morning princes, did you sleep well", I cooed imitating the same tone while taking her in my arms and kissing her forehead.

"Yes", came her reply, nodding at her I turned towards my cranky kid who was still in his la la land, he was a heavy sleeper just like his father and would always throw a fit to get up.

I think I was saved from that today since he slowly stirred and started blinking his eyes, once he focused it properly on me and his sister, he laid his head on my lap,

"Morning mommy", he said it in his still drowsy state,

"Morning baby", I said while pecking his head.

"Now let us get you 2 dressed up, and move down aunt Mary is waiting with the breakfast", I pulled them towards their room.

We made our way downstairs, with both clutching my hand from both the sides. They greeted aunt Mary, who wished back cheerfully. I made them sit on their respective chairs, while Mary served us, making sure that they were fed properly, I continued with my breakfast. Once done with all the eating. We moved out towards the car, where Mr. Albert the driver was already on stand-by to take us to our destination.

Greeting him, I made the kids sit in their car seat and strapped them up, taking up my own seat next to them. Mr. Albert zoomed out of the villa space when he was sure we were ready.
