Chapter 5 Sudden Visit

He paced from right to left and vise versa.

"Maybe I can visit her and then take action"He thought

"Tomorrow I will go there and make my first step if I'm caught then they kill me"

***Whiles Nate was thinking of visiting Maria, the same was going on in her head

"Go, come early in the morning and take me to his place, keep an eye on him"

"Okay my lady"

He rushed through the window and disappeared from sight. He was walking but it it seemed that he was running. He was whispering

"Hah, why is the lady so interested in this guy"

"I know that they planned a marriage for you two but since his mother died the planned was cut off"

He talked like this and after sometime got to the house which he came to this morning

"The lights are switched on, I'm sure he is in there"

He kept watch that that night and never did he take a step from his position.

In the room, after Josh came and stood guard Nate had already fallen asleep.

Josh stood guard till the time the sun was rising the he left to the mansion to escorts Maria.

Early in the morning, as the birds were making noise Nate woke up then walked to the bathroom, took a bath and prepared breakfast.

As he sat down and was about to eat he suddenly heard a knock in his door.

"Who is it, from the old persons memory he doesn't receive visitors"He shook his head as if remembering

He stood up and went to see the person. The moment he opened the door he froze. Standing in front of him is the woman he has been thinking about for the past four days.

"Am I having hallucination"He thought that because he has been thinking about her too long he is getting hallucinations. As he was in deep thought he heard the woman talk

"Good morning Nate"

He opened his jaws wide the moment he heard that voice

"Am I dreaming because I have been thinking about you"He said willing smiling

"Oh, so you have been thinking about me"The voice replied whiles giggling. Before he could process what was happening he saw Josh standing behind Maria He then got frightened the came back to his senses that it is real

"Won't you invite me in?"Maria asked

Nate immediately welcomed them into the the house

"You may come in"

"You are mistaken Nate its just me"

As he heard this he gulped

"You mean Josh will wait outside? "He asked to confirm but was praying that it was like that.

"Hmm"She nosed

Maria entered the house and saw how shaggy it is. She felt said and wet one eye. "I was about to have breakfast, will you join me!? "

She accepted the offer and waled with him side by side to the dinning place

As they sat down she muttered

"Nate, you have changed"

Nate heard her say that but he pretended like he didn't hear her.

"What did you say"

"Nothing, I was just talking about something"

They kept catching up and talked about my many things.

As they were talking Maria suddenly said

"Nate you have changed a lot"

"Yeah I have to change for the better, been alone in this world is not good at all"He said as he started to eat.

"Nate come and live with us"She suddenly said as they were eating.

Nate watched her face for a while and said

"You know I won't do that, you don't know what will hap.... "Nate didn't finish his words when Maria put her finger on his lips and said

"Nothing will happen, my father will agree"

"You know you are beautiful you can't tell what will happen if I stay with you right "He blushed as he said

When Maria heard those words, she got happy and a smile bloomed on her face

"If nothing happens, then you are not a man"she replied

As Nate heard that he also became happy, he knew that this is his chance. He has to take this opportunity and make some moves so he moved his seat to the side of Maria

"My place is not comfortable, I like it here"He said as he scratched his hair

"Ha haha haha "Maria started laughing when she hears him say that

"This is your house, you can do anything"She said.

"You mean can I also do this"He said as he raised his hands and held her hands.

When he held her hands she blushed but didn't object. This made Nate happy inside, he decided to take it step by step. So he started to tease her

"Are you blushing"

Maria's heart squirmed as she wanted to object

"N.. no I... I am not"

This made Nate happy because his plan is in action and is on the road to success. He wanted to finish everything here but was afraid that it will backfire on.

They continued to talk and as it was getting to evening Maria said her good bye and told him that she will visit again tomorrow. This made Nate happy inwardly as he also told her to come.

When Maria got home she took a bath ate supper and went to her bedroom, She sat on her bed as she was recalling what today.She felt happy for some reason and couldn't sleep so she decided to take a walk in her balcony.

The moment Maria went Nate also started recalling what he did to her.

"She liked it, tomorrow will be a better day"he thought.

He laid on his bed and decided to check his system
