Chapter 4 Nothing is permanent

Disciplinary room.

"Cara white again?" The principal asked ironically as she entered the room.

They all know Miss Whitney is a disciplined woman. She have zero percent tolerance for nonsense. She always knew Cara has a bully and treat to her mate and juniors.

"You all should clean the teacher office for a week." She said.

"Yes ma." They all replied.

"Expect you Cara, you will wash the juniors toilet for 2 days." She added and left.

"Ma, toilet.... I can't!" She said and ran after the principal.

Alex and Lily now their head picking their nails.

"What are you waiting for?" Kim sneered.

The three girls say down watching Lily and Alex doing the whole cleaning.

Aria was very happy when she saw the say empty, the class had already begin, she walked quietly there. As Kimberly and Gabby enter, they directed their attention to them.

"The Dreys." A blonde hair girl said. They all began to murmur.

"Silence!" The teacher screamed.

Later in the day.

"Am hungry." Aria said rubbing her tummy.

"Should we go the cafeteria?" Gabby asked them.

"Let wait for my baby." Gabby said referring to Kimberly. She went to the school clinic.

"My bfs." Kim shouted running toward them.

"Am not your bf." Aria snapped.

"Whatever!" She said and hang her hand round gabby neck.

Student stare as they enter the cafeteria.

"Celebrities." Aria hype them.

"Yes baby." Kim blush.

They picked up their plate and lined up where the students gathered. They were served and they went to a silent place to sit.

"Delicious." Kim and Aria mouthed.

They noticed Gabby was looking at somewhere else, they cut her staring at a junior.

"Wowww." Kim said joking.

"Your crush?" Aria asked smiling widely.

"No, he is my junior." Gabby replied sharply.

"Hmm, juniorrrrr." Kim emphasised on the word junior.

The boy cut them looking and smiled.

"Did you see that?" Kim blushed, his smile is cute.

Gabby hissed and continue with her food.

Cara was about to wash the juniors toilet when a junior announced the arrival of Casper.

"Casper?" She froze.

Casper is her everyday crush, but he doesn't seems to like her. Casper is also a bully and that makes her like him more.

Casper entered the cafeteria, students gathered around him, they were all shocked to see him after two years.

"Do you have demi-god shrine? Why are your guys so cute?" Aria mouth dropped.

He left when he didn't find who he's looking for.

"Who is he?" Kim asked.

"Casper?" Gabby asked.

"Don't answer question with question." Kim said, she is eager to know him.

"His name his Casper, Casper Palin." Gabby replied and Kimberly burst into laughter.

"Palin? Where bears that? Okay...." She joked and faced Aria.

She hit her bringing her back to her sense.

"Love don't pay." Kimberly warned.

"Big mouth, I only have a crush on him." Aria said and stick out her tongue.

Abby is shy to face her boss.

"Why now." She said hitting the table. One of the cleaner came and gave her the dress she ordered.

"Thank you." She collect it and entered the bathroom.

She heard some footsteps. They are also working in the company from the way they talk.

"Did you see the news?" One of them asked.

"Am not surprise, it is not a new thing. Am worried about his new Secretary." The second one said.

"Me?" Abby frowned, she placed her ear on the wall.

She listened to them as they were badmouthing, she checked her dress and opened the door, they were surprise to see her.

"Surprise!!!" She laughed leaving them in a great shock.

They stare at each other before departing.

Meeting with the reporter.

"Sorry am late." Reporter Lucy said in hurry, she look restless.

Abby was shocked to see her childhood friend.

"Lucy?"

"Abby?"

They hugged each other. The deal was easy, she took everything down without collecting a dine.

"Look at the small crazy Abigail." Lucy whined.

"Am not that little Abigail."

"It's obvious. You're Mr joe Secretary, wow!"

"You've said that countless of times. But what happened, why did you suddenly become a reporter?" Abby asked and Lucy told her, her story.

Things can't be permanent, whatever position you are, it is just temporary. Looking at the great Lucy, and hearing her painful story made her realise things are meant to be permanent.

Lucy is a daughter of a billionaire, after her mother death, her father married a new wife, Mrs potter. They call her Mrs owl.

"You still remember that old woman." Lucy laughed.

Mrs owl is a wicked woman, after Lucy father company went bankrupt, the man died. She forced Lucy into marriage, she married Billy, the son of a billionaire. But Billy is a beast in disguise, he hit her everyday.

"Am sorry, I shouldn't have asked." Abby comforted her.

They are all eating on the round table, Abby noticed Aria is in good mood, she decided to talk to her.

"Ria..." She called and Aria looked up, she looked her with a bad eyes.

"What?" She questioned.

"Wash the dirty plates once we're through." She said and left the table. Ria did say a word.

"Why did you give her that deadly look?" Kimberly questioned.

"She is my sister, not yours!" She snapped.

"Then treat her like your sister!" Kim spat.

"You can, I don't care!"

"Then I don't mind snatching her from you!" Kim yelled.

"Who cares? Do i look like I do? No!"

They both exchange words and entered their room.

Abby had already wash the jacket, she ironed it and pack it together. She lay down on the bed thinking about her life when a call came in.

It's her boss.

Joe was struggling with his door, he doesn't know what to do, he looked at and noticed Abby room light is on.

He was forced to call her.

"Yes sir." She said over the phone.

"Can you come to my house, am stuck in my room." He said.

Abby got up and checked her window, he wave. She inhale the air and breathe it out.

She walked slowly there, he told her the entrance code giving her the access to his house.

"Wow, the is huge." She said as she entered the house. She was carried away by the furniture and accessories. When she remember Joe , she rushed upstairs. The lock is broken, she had to destroy it.

"Finally." She said opening the door.

Joe eye went to the broken lock.

"It j.."

"You're paying for it." He said.

She nodded and left the house quietly, regretting why she went there in the first place.

Cara stood beside Blake door with her hands folded together, she is waiting for him to come out, she want to break the news about Casper.

When she sighted him coming inside the house, she ran toward him and stood in front of him.

He gave her a disgusting look as usual.

"What?" He voiced out, It seems he has seen the news already.

"Nothing." Cara said moving aside for him to pass. He hissed and walked pass her.

"Is he even my brother?" She wondered biting her nails.

Blake kept moving from one edge to another, he is restless that Casper is back. He knew he is coming for him.

"Jezz!" He shouted hitting his fist on the wall. The memories of two years ago began to torment him. He fell on the ground shivering, beads of sweat gathered on his face. He wailed hard, he was alone that cruel night, he just could forget everything. "Noooo!!!!!!" He screamed.

Later at night.

Abigail went to Kim room, she knocked on the door quietly.

"Come in." Kim replied tiredly.

Abby entered slowly like a thief making found it funny.

"Are you trying to steal my stuff or get me killed?"

"Oh, because I sneaked in?" Abby questioned and she nodded.

"What is it? Why are you here at this hour?" Kim asked her. She knows Abby won't come to you this late hour without any reason.

"Shush, just come." She said and pulled Kim along. She pulled her to her room.

"What?" Kim asked slowly. Abby covered her mouth and took her to the window side, she opened the curtain a little and point at the house across.

"What?" Kim mumbled.

"Shush, just look." She said still pointing. Kim didn't get what she's trying to show her.

"Queen... Stop your play am.." She stopped after seeing what she was showing her.

"F*ck, are you stalking people that are having s*x?" Kim whispered, she was very surprise.

"No, no... Am not." She opposed with her voice shaking.

She pulled Kim from there, but Kim went back there, she couldn't see their face, just the guy back was visible.

Abby dropped the curtain blocking her view.

"What? You called me here to see... But wait." She paused.

"Why did you call me here?" She added.

"Nothing, I was just surprised, how can people have s*x without considering their safety." She lied. She was surprised to caught her boss.

"Yes, you can go." She said pushing Kim out.

She locked the door and went back to the window, she began to peep on them.
