Chapter 4 Owen likes Sandy.

The next day, all four friends were at the school cafeteria eating and talking. "You need to see Chloe, she was wasted like which Chloe approaches a guy for a dance except a drunk Chloe?" Sandy said and they all laughed. "Definitely a drunk Chloe, because Chloe doesn't do such things" Mandy said laughing. "But come to think of it, Chloe doesn't drink unless she's worried about something or she's angry, what happened Chloe?" Alex observed. " Steve happened" Chloe said folding her arms. "He tried to kiss me and I slapped him" She said. "Ohh" Sandy and Mandy said simultaneously.

"It's just a kiss Chloe" said Alex. "Yeah, I know that was the reason you kissed three different girls at the party" Chloe snapped. "Alex?" Said Sandy. "You did?" Asked Mandy. "Uh..yeah, just a kiss, and uh.. I...mm how did you even see me Chloe? Were you stalking me?" Asked Alex. "Stalking you? Really Alex?" Said Chloe. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it that way" he apologized immediately. This time Chloe rolled her eyes. "A friend wants to join us at the table, is he permitted?"asked Alex. "Yeah, friends are always welcome" said Mandy while Sandy and Chloe just stared. Alex left the table and came back with Owen. "Girls, meet my friend Owen. Owen meet my friends Chloe, Mandy and Sandy" introduced Alex. "Hi everyone, I'm Owen" Owen said again. "Alex just said your name and I really don't care, you don't have to repeat it" said Sandy. Owen stared at her with some familiarity. "She has to be the girl from the party, she looks so much like her but.." he thought to himself. "Hi Owen" said Mandy with a bright smile as she extended her hand for a hand shake. Owen took it and placed a kiss on it and Mandy blushed. "She looks more similar to the girl I met but she isn't rude what the hell' thought Owen. "Have we uh...met... before? Owen asked. "Yeah, a lot of times in class. Why? Mandy replied with a smile similar to that of the joker. "Nevermind," Owen said and her smile fell. "I thought you were the girl I met at the party the other day" He said. Sandy squinted her eyes, and reality hit her. He was the annoying guy she met while looking for Chloe. Why was he here? Why was he sitting on their table? She looked at him and found him looking back, but for some reason she didn't know, she found herself blushing and she lowered her eyes. "Sandy? You okay?" Chloe asked. Sandy looked at Chloe before standing up and walked out. "Do you think she's okay?" Owen asked."She sure isn't" said Chloe. "She'll be fine, she's prolly in her moods" said Mandy. Owen looked around for a second. "Excuse me" he said and walked out too.Chloe and Alex looked at themselves while Alex shrugged.

Sandy walked into the art class, she felt stupid and embarrassed. She rubbed her already scattered hair vigorously. "Stupid Stupid Stupid Sandy" She said. She punched the wall in annoyance. "Urrgghh" She groaned,she wanted to punch something. The door opened and Owen walked in. Sandy stared at him as he walked towards her. "So, it was really you" He said. "Don't you dare take one more step closer" She said glaring. "And who's gonna stop me?" He asked. "I will" She said. "You're just a woman...."She interrupted him with a punch on his arm. "I hate it when guys underestimate women" She said and placed her hands on his throat choking him. "Hey! Chill! I didn't mean it" He said trying to ease her grip which she tightened even more. She held him for about thirty seconds. "You don't plan on killing me do you?" Owen asked. "I wouldn't kill so easily, I'd make it slow and painful" said Sandy finally removing her hands from his throat. Owen rubbed on his throat. "Jeez, I'm sorry okay?" He said. "What do you want?" Sandy asked. "Do we have a problem?" He asked back. "Do not reply my question with a question. What do you want?" She asked again. "I want us to be friends Sandy" He said. "I already have friends who I'm satisfied with and my name is Sandra, only special people call me Sandy and you're not one of them" She said. "Why are you like this? You're too harsh for a lady. You're not gonna get a boyfriend with this" He said. "Well, that should be my problem right?" She asked. "Excuse me" She said and walked to leave but Owen caught her by the arm and Drew her to himself. "I am handsome and rich, many girls want me but I want to be just a friend with you, a privilege I don't give to other girls, what is your problem?" He said looking deep into her eyes. "Exactly, you're too arrogant, you think you're the best, but tell you what? I don't give a fuck. Excuse me" she said pushing his hand away and walked out. Owen stared at her back as she left. He wanted to go after her but held himself back. "Fuck!" He said.

He walked out and went back to the cafeteria to meet only Chloe at the table. "Hey Chloe" he said. "Hi" sh replied. "Can I ask you something?" He asked. "Yeah, sure" She replied. "Uhh...I .." he stammered rubbing his ear. "What kind of guy does Sandra like?" He asked and Chloe's face squeezed in amusement. "I'm serious Chloe" he said. "I know I know" she said. "I'm just you know surprised. You like her?" She asked. "It's obvious, I do" he said. "Wow, actually I don't know the kind of guys she likes, she's never dated anyone" she said. "Did you speak to her?" Chloe asked. "Yeah, I did, she almost choked me to death" said Owen. "Typical, you're lucky you didn't actually die" said Chloe chuckling. "I think you should get out of her way for now, that's the best I can tell you" said Chloe as she stood up. "Have a nice day" she said and left the cafeteria.
