Chapter 7 Provocations

"You have to tell me who the person that invited us is, I have to thank them!" I grabbed my friend's arm and shouted about what I felt inside.

"Welcome..." I was surprised to see a girl appear out of nowhere.

"Thank you," I said, my voice trembling.

"Alexis, you're mistaken, I don't see that she's the right one to be here," I was frozen hearing the unknown woman speak. Now I took the liberty to look her up and down, who gave her the right to judge me and say whether I should be here or not?
