Smiling forcibly, Sia could only nod, then she stepped forward and followed Elin from behind. Ah, Elin was making herself even less confident.
Elin's words really did happen, not deviating at all. All pairs of eyes, when Sia entered the classroom, immediately looked at her with various different expressions. Sia closed her eyes slightly, then hurriedly walked quickly to her seat.
"Wow ... Where did a stray angel come from?" Yogi snapped when Sia was sitting in her seat.
Sia gasped, she was sure the words were said to her. She doesn't know-was it Sia who was overconfident?
There was no mistaking it, when Sia looked up and the tail of her eyes swept the classroom, she saw Yogi's face staring back at her while raising his eyebrows repeatedly. Sia was awkward to be looked at like that, so she could only smile awkwardly and quickly roll the corners of her eyes as hard as she could.
Why did things have to be like this? Sia was really uncomfortable being the subject of a class spectacle like this. Sia's hands were already shaking violently, unfortunately, her classmates were still staring at her seat. Of course, Sia felt uncomfortable being subjected to such things.
How much of an impact would it have if she changed her appearance just a little?
Sia could only pray silently that the teacher who taught the first hour would soon enter the classroom.
Then, in short order, it was time for recess. The long-awaited moment came too, the bell had just rung, filling the school corridor. Sia's smile was clearly printed on her lips, and then a second later she looked at Elin, who was doing the same.
"Going to the cafeteria?" asked Sia, looking at Elin, who was still busy stuffing her textbooks into her desk drawer.
Quickly, Elin immediately turned her body to look straight at Sia. "Yes, wake up, don't you want to come?"
Without any more resistance, Sia finally complied and started to lift her butt from the chair. Sia needed water now because she was so nervous that she almost died. Yes, it was so draining.
"I can't wait to see your expression when I see your face in the cafeteria, it's going to be exciting," Elin exclaimed between her long steps to the cafeteria. No doubt, the change in Sia's appearance was truly mesmerizing, her face became more beautiful.
Sighing lightly, Sia felt nervous again. Elin was always like that. Sia was just looking like any other day. But, why did Elin make such a big deal out of it?
"Elin, stop. There's no need to talk about it," Sia replied while nudging Elin's shoulder with hers.
Elin's not-quite-quiet voice made Sia even more incensed.
"Trust me, you're really beautiful today. I'm so jealous," Elin commented, her hand moving to embrace Sia's shoulder.
"I'm just getting a haircut, why are you going crazy like this?" Sia grumbled in annoyance. Elin had been stirring her emotions. Sia didn't need to be praised like that.
Hearing Sia's words just now made Elin turn her body one hundred and eighty degrees and stare at her intently. "You're beautiful, but now you're even more beautiful with your appearance like this, just trust me. In class, everyone was looking at you like that. So I'm not the only one who thinks you're beautiful," Elin said passionately.
Exhaling heavily through her mouth, Sia didn't bother anymore. She just needed to get that thought out of her head. She should not respond to Elin's words just now.
"If there was a handsome senior who shot you, would you accept it?" Elin teased, breaking the silence. Sia, who was daydreaming, finally gasped and immediately turned to her left side.
Sia looked at Elin's face with a confused expression. "I didn't think of that, and why did you ask me that?"
"Because you're pretty," Elin grinned, showing a row of neatly arranged white teeth. Sia repeatedly let out her breath in exasperation.
After all, she had yet to forget Elgi. He was the most precious person in her life. She wasn't ready to accept someone else into her life, she still hadn't let Elgi go. The fact that he didn't accompany her anymore made her feel lost.
Now, she just wanted to be alone. Loving someone too much is painful, Sia believed this because she had felt it herself.
"Sia! Why are you staring? I called you earlier too," Elin said, shaking Sia's shoulder hard.
"What? I'm sorry.
"Don't think about what I said earlier, I was just joking." Elin joked while showing her trademark grin.
Not dodging any more, Sia only replied with a brief nod of her head. Her mind was still centered on Elgi. She didn't know why Elgi's presence had such a big impact on her. And Sia will not forget the memories of the incident with that guy in the past.
The next situation, silence began to creep in, Sia chose to be silent while daydreaming between the long footsteps, and Elin had also stopped teasing Sia.
"Do you know Elgo?" After a second of silence, Elin suddenly asked a question.
Spontaneously, with a flash of lightning, Sia immediately turned to Elin. She then shrugged her shoulders, indicating that she didn't know who the boy was that Elin was referring to.
"How dumb are you if you don't know Elgo." Elin rolled her eyes lazily, not expecting Sia's response.
Sia was really speaking the truth now. Elgo? Who was he? The name felt foreign to her. Sia also had no interest in finding out more about the boy Elin mentioned earlier. To her, it wasn't important at all.
"Sia, you didn't ask who he was?" Elin's temper suddenly exploded. Suddenly, Sia was confused by her best friend. She looked at Elin with confused blinking eyes. Did she really have to ask?
"It's not important either," Sia said indifferently, and then she wandered her gaze forward.
"You don't know Elgo, that's the handsome boy, he's a senior, haven't you seen what he looks like?" Elin raised one eyebrow. She looked at Sia carefully, waiting for her best friend's reply.
"No!" Sia replied briefly in a suppressed tone of voice. A second later, she took a thousand steps and left Elin in place.
"Sia, wait for me!" shouted Elin in her typical shrill voice. She immediately caught up with Sia, who was already there. Feeling that the distance was quite far, Elin had to take more oxygen and was ready to run after her best friend. "Damn, why was I left behind anyway?"
