Chapter 3 WHAT IS HAPPENING

"What...what are you talking about?". The man asked, stuttering and pretending as if he didn't hear him clearly.

Leonardo knew that Sango, his ex-henchmen, heard him well but he just had to repeat his statement again just to be sure Sango wasn't trying to divert from his question. "How much did he give you?". He asked again.

"Who?"The man asked as if he didn't know what he was talking about.

Leonardo clenched his hand into a strong fist that the muscles in his arm began to contract through his sleeve indicating how angry he was at the greedy man, Sango Angelo. "You traitor". He gritted his teeth in rage, his chest rising and falling in rapid breath as he remembered how his secret warehouse was invaded unknowingly. He wasn't alert, nor was he present at that moment because he knew nobody knew about his secret warehouse except for his henchmen. He knew one of them must have given out the location and he was finding it hard to believe that one of his trusted men could share his secret to his enemies. It was shocking to him because he kept assuring himself in the office that no one was capable or daring enough to go against him, until he was convinced that one of them could do that, Sango.

His suspicion about Sango started when Sango had asked him for a retirement, suddenly after the incident. As a mafia, he knew who the culprit was by their actions and right now, Sango just proved to be the culprit.

"I didn't do anything", Sango tried to defend himself but that just inflamed the anger burning in Leonardo's head.

Hearing Sango lie after he already knew the truth pissed him the more. He scooted up from the coach, pulled out a small handgun from his pocket and plopped it against Sango forehead. Gently, he made Sango head rise as he straightened up on his knees with the gun still pressed against his forehead.

Leonardo cracked the gun , trying to scare Sango by the sound of it. "Speak". He ordered but Sango didn't utter a word of truth, instead he kept on lying.

"I swear on my life, I didn't do anything", Sango lied, yet again despite knowing the consequences of his actions.

On-hearing Sango's words he lifted the gun and landed it hard across his face. He was going to force the truth out of him, even if it means torturing him. He needed to know why he did that and who had blackmailed him to do that. He knew Sango as a money thirsty man so whoever choosed Sango in his or her games must know so much about him.

Sango's face twitched to the side as he fell down to the ground with blood trickling out from the side of his lips. Using his hand, he cleaned the blood out from the side of his lips and looked at his trembling hand. His hand was stained with blood and his mouth was aching in pain signifying that he had lost one of his teeth. He raised his body from the ground, still on his knees in front of Leonardo. His head was lowered down as he dared not look at the devilish man's face.

"Dad...what is happening?". A soft voice asked from upstairs, interrupted them.
