Chapter 4 Engagement.

I'm not a very captivating man, I'm quiet, I don't like to get involved in other people's problems, especially my brother Nathan's.

These last few days have been quite tiring, my daddy has discovered cancer and is in the terminal phase, he needs me to get married urgently so he can take over the leadership of the Mallardo mafia, but it turns out that he made a pact with Contini, he gave up his virgin daughter for me to marry her instead of a year to get to take over the mafia.

Anna looked at me with teary eyes and lowered her head.

I'm not intimate with her, so what I can do is walk away and let her reflect on what just happened here.
