Chapter 2 I want a divorce

Ciara's p.o.v

I didn't reply him but rather glared at him cause i was totally mad at him and i wish he could just apologize to me then we kiss and make up but unfortunately it won't happen.

"i said congratulations Ciara...don't act like you didn't hear me." he said

"well thank you...if that's what you want to hear." I replied.

"but why the attitude!?? yes we have our differences but atleast for today let's put it aside and act normal." he said while pocketing.

"hmm you said we should act normal!!! wish you said it way back maybe it could make a change but unfortunately right now i can't act normal or let's say i can nolonger pretend cause am so sick and tired of that shit." i yelled at him.

A while ago i was struggling with words to come out but surprisingly am the one yelling right now...it's so unbelievable.

"Ciara please keep your voice down...you might wake up the baby and at the same time attract attention from the rest outside." he said while coming closer to me.

"hey don't you dare touch me...i said don't even think of putting your thilthy hands on me." i pushed him away.

"Ciara please calm down...okay i admit a lot of things happened in the past but let's start afresh so that we raise our kid cause we can't raise him well when we are always going to be fighting every hour and then...please Ciara am begging you." he said while taking a seat which was close to my bed.

"(smirks) Calton you are really so funny...you are asking me to calm down but when i asked for time so that we talk and settle everything in our marriage,you gave me a deaf ear and you made me look like a fool...now here you are acting like a good husband!! please save me the pretence." i told him.

"Jeez Ciara am not pretending,actually if you could see through my heart then maybe you could know that am being real here....let's start afresh and am kindly asking for your forgiveness please." he apologized.

He tried reaching for my hands but i kept them folded on my chest.

"First things first,where were you in the past four days when i was unconscious?? and dont you dare lie to me cause doc told me that no one came to check on me." i asked him.

"well to be honest with you i came but when i discovered that you were unconscious i went back home but i kept coming to check if you have woken up every single day...I know it's hard to believe but that's the truth." he replied.

"(scoffs) please don't lie...we both know that you can't be coming back and forth checking on me...you are the most impatient person i know on this planet." I told him.

"think about it,how did i know that you have woken up?? if you didn't call me up then how did i come here without you informing me?? it's because i used to come and check up on you everyday though i didn't spend much time cause i had to go back to the office and work." he said.

"to work or to spend time with her??" I asked him.

"please don't bring her in our conversation and it's so heart breaking that you still give her much of your attention!!...just forget about her." he replied.

"forget about her?? i wish it was as easy as you say it...anyways i don't freaking care about her and by the way i think we have talked a lot...now i need to rest." i told him.

"Ciara please first listen to me...yes am going to let you rest cause you need to but let's agree on some some things before you sleep." he said.

"Carlton please...am really tired let me be for now....if you don't mind please get out of my room." i said while pointing at the door.

"Ciara okay one quick question before i leave...when you get discharged where are you planning to go??" he asked me.

"of course somewhere far from you...Carlton don't make me repeat myself please...am saying this for the last time that am so done with your stupid games...let me be." I replied.

"what do you mean huh?? you have to come back with me to the house please...you can't raise our kid alone...i love my baby so much and i can't just allow you to take him away from me like that...no way." he said.

"hmm look who's talking about love here!!! just a simple flash back,please tell me what you did for me during my nine months to prove this love??! you did totally nothing and now you are talking about love,really!!! you are so shameless." i said with a lot of anger.

"Ciara yes i admit all my past mistakes but please give me a chance with my child...let's go back home and raise him together as his parents." he begged me.

"please stop repeating the same point over and over again...my decision is final...am not coming back to your house period..start a new life alone and don't worry about us,we shall be more than fine without you." I l told him.

"Ciara we are still married,am your husband and you are still my wife so there's nothing like separating ways...we are going back home and by we,i mean the three of us and that's final." he said while standing up from his seat.

"I want a divorce." i said it loud enough for him to hear and he parted his lips in total shock.

Yes I know it caught him off guard but this is the only thing that can put an end to all of this drama in our lives cause it all started when we got married so it's better we put an end to this marriage in order to get peace cause to be honest I m have had enough of all this.
