Chapter 5 The Revelation

Kelsey's POV

I opened my eyes ignoring my pounding head, I looked around and I was in front of the most beautiful river I've ever seen. It was so clear and really beautiful. "Selena" a voice called out to me, Selena was my middle name. No one has ever called me that except my dad but this voice is so peaceful and calm like a mother talking to her daughter.

I tried looking for the voice but I couldn't move, "Selena,my daughter" the voice said getting really close. "Who's there?" I said trying to be bold but my voice seems to have other plans. I tried communicating with my wolf but to no avail. "Turn around Selena" I did as instructed and was greeted by a beautiful woman. She was dressed in a beautiful off white gown and she looked really familiar. She came closer walking right up to me, her face getting clearer and oh my goddess. She looked exactly like me, but she looked more older, a beautiful white wolf was by her side,the wolf also looking familiar.

"Who are you?" I said my voice shaking, "It's me dear, it's your mother" she said in her peaceful voice that seems to calm me down and also send a shiver down my spine. She cupped my face, "I'm so sorry about your mate but it had to happen" she said and the memory of the rejection came rushing back causing a tear to fall. "What do you mean it had to happen?" I asked her earning a sad smile.

She led me through the forest and then the environment started to change and then suddenly I'm in a palace. It shun so bright, it was painted in white. White chairs,white walls white everything. She led me into the throne room, a familiar woman was seated on the throne. Her face shun so bright,she was truly beautiful. On her head,a beautiful crown was placed. She smiled softly at me and signalled me to come forward.

"I'm so sorry for us meeting after such an unfortunate event has taken place." She said softly and I felt warmth vibrate through me. "my name is Selene" she said and then it clicked. I'm in front of the moon goddess,the creator of werewolves, I bowed down instantly.

"No my dear you don't have to bow before me. You are my descendant,you are my daughter" she said cupping my cheeks and placing a kiss on my head. My head was hazy, confusion set in. What does she mean by descendant?

"Have a seat my dear, I'll explain better" she said as if reading my thoughts. I sat down and that white wolf came and stood by my side.

"I'm sure you recognized your mom, your mother was poisoned after your birth, I created your mother with a very special ability to make my very own children. As you know I can't make my own children so I gave your mom that ability but she was killed after your birth making you my only child. My very own daughter. You have all my powers and you will start to get a hang of it, and it will be very easy for you to control them" she said. "Wait, what do you mean by she was gifted by you. My mother was human, and I am nothing but a weak good for nothing, rejected wolf" I said tears about to fall from my eyes.

"Never ever say that again" the moon goddess said angrily,her eyes glowing in anger. Wow good,I even made the moon goddess angry. I thought to myself.

"You are my daughter, you only went through that rejection because you need to be heartbroken before you get your wolf. Your mother was human,yes. But you are my daughter." She said with a soft smile holding my and giving it a small squeeze making me calm down, I turned to my mom "who poisoned you?" I asked her and her eyes fell on her lap avoiding eye contact. "you will need to ask your father about that. But for now you need to leave" she said standing up and pulling me up. I turned to the moon goddess, "leave? Why?" She nodded and said "a minute here is a day in your world."

I was confused, "you've been here for way too long,your father must be worried sick." My mom said still dragging me out. "But I want to stay with you here" I said whining Abit but I really want to stay here. It was peaceful and I wouldn't face anyone who would ask me about my mate. "You need to leave, you have to fulfill your destiny my love." My mom said cupping my face. "what destiny?" I asked but my mom and the moon goddess shook their head and said "you will know it soon enough. Your wolf will guide you. Remember that we will always be with you. " The moon goddess said and then everything went black and quiet.

Then suddenly I heard a beeping sound, I opened my eyes and a blinding light forced my eyes shut. I opened it slowly and carefully looked around. I felt someone holding my hand and I looked down to see Ashley seated by the bed. Her hair was messed up and her eyes were puffy,she has been obviously crying. "Ashley" I said but my voice came out squeaky and my throat was dry. She stood up instantly and she looked shocked, "Kels" she shouted before pulling me into a rib breaking hug.

Kelsey's POV

I pulled back from the hug and took a good look at her, she was still as beautiful as ever despite her red puffy eyes. And then I noticed a bite on her neck, "OMG, you've found your mate" I squealed and instantly regretted it. My throat throbbed in pain and my head was pounding, "here, drink up" Taylor said as she gave me a glass of water. I gulped it down as if I just finished a marathon, "tell me all about it" I continued. She parted her lips as if she wants to say something then suddenly Chris and my parents barged into the room and pulled me into another hug. "I really don't know why you're all exaggerating, I've only been unconscious for like an hour or so" I said pulling away from the hug earning a surprised look from all of them. "Sweetie, you've been unconscious for almost 2 months" Alexandra said. "No, a month 3 weeks and 2 days" Chris said matter of factly earning a glare from Tay. Wow, the moon goddess was right then.

Wait, I've been gone that long. "Sweetie,how are you feeling now" my dad said for the first time since he entered, I nodded my head because I didn't trust my voice at that moment. It all came rushing back, my mate rejected me on my birthday and then I met my mom and the moon goddess who is my actual mother... I need to lye down. "let's get the pack doctor, she doesn't seem fine" Chris said earning a glare from me. "I'm fine just hungry." I said hoping to lighten up the mood. "ooh big surprise, you're always hungry" Chris said. "I want McDonald's" I said ignoring him, pouting and batting my eyelashes at my dad. "okay my dear, the usual?" He asked and I nodded frantically with a huge smile on my face. "Dad, I don't think it's safe for her to eat those yet. Let's ask the doctor" Chris said being the annoying brother that he is. He's lucky I'm currently lying down, I would have dislocated his jaw. "We're werewolves,if she says she's okay then it's fine" my dad said before placing a kiss on my head and exiting the room. Thank moon goddess I have a dad like him, ooh damn I forgot to tell him about my encounter with mom. How can I sit him down and tell him that I met the moon goddess and she's my biological mother, and that I met mom and she was killed and we have to avenge her death. I'm sure he'll think I'm crazy and take me to a psychiatric hospital.

"Hey, what's going on in your mind" Taylor said taking her seat by my bed, should I tell her about it? Will she think I'm crazy? Nah,this is Taylor even if the world doesn't believe me she will. "Lots but we'll discuss about this later" I said and she nodded understandingly.

"Are you sure you're really okay kels, I heard that being rejected by your wolf is like losing a part of you." She said pity evident in her eyes, I hated being looked at that way. "I'm fine Alex, I promise.Just hungry but once I've eaten I'll be good as new" I said giving her hand a little squeeze. My heart still feels like it's literally broken but I guess I'll be fine, I'm the moon goddess's daughter for crying out loud, a little rejection won't bring me down, my brain seems to believe that but my heart hurts.
