Chapter 7 Punished

"Is something wrong Clara?" Skylar asked as they walked through the dark hallway, Clara didn't give her a reply and she sighed. They both walked down the stairs and turned in another direction, they followed the stairs till they got to the entrance of the basement and Clara stopped. She opened the door and sighed before turning to Skylar. "I was told to lock you in here." "What? By who?" "The boss, please don't refuse, I don't want to lose my job." She begged and Skylar sighed as she remembered she interrupted the meeting. "How long will I be here?" She asked and Clara shrugged.

"I don't know ma'am, it depends on him." She said and Skylar nodded. She took in a deep breath and walked in, Clara closed the door immediately and the basement became dark. "Okay, at least it's not bright." She muttered and touched the walls, she finally found a safe place to sit and she slowly sat there. She remained in that position for hours till she started feeling sleepy, she slowly lay on the floor and closed her eyes. Days passed and Skylar remained in the dark basement without food or water, she was starting to feel sick and weak. She coughed and gasped because she was getting choked up, tears clouded her eyes as she whimpered in pain. Bryan walked into Lexi's mansion with a little bag and he smiled at the maids in the living room. "Hey guys, where is your boss?" He asked and a maid walked to him and bowed. "He is in the study." She said and Bryan nodded, he walked away from the living room and headed to the study. He got there and met Lexi puffing out smoke from his mouth and nostrils. "Hey man." Bryan called and sat opposite him. "Do you have it?" Lexi asked and he nodded, he dropped the bag and Lexi sat up, he opened it and confirm what he needed before closing up the bag. "So dude, what's up?" Bryan asked and Lexi didn't give him a reply as he puffed out smoke. "Ugh." Bryan scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Dude, what about that Skylar babe?" Bryan asked and Lexi ran his hands through his hair. "I don't know." He replied. "Is she in her room?" "She is in the basement." "Why?" Bryan chuckled. "She is being punished for interrupting my meeting." He said and Bryan paused. "Wait, do you mean she has been in the basement since that day?" "Yeah." He replied huskily. "What? Dude, what the hell is wrong with you? She is going to die." "And I will get her body disposed off." "Lexi." Bryan called and he ignored him. "What is wrong with you? That girl is so young, she looks like a teenager." "So?" "So get her out of there." "She is my slave, I bought her with my money so I will do whatever damn thing I want with her and to her, if you don't feel comfortable about it then get the fuck out of my house." He replied and Bryan sighed. "Sometimes, you can be so annoying." Bryan said angrily and stood up before walking out of the study, he walked out of the house angrily and entered his car. Lexi puffed out smoke as he drifted his thoughts away from her. ******* Skylar suddenly woke up and was about to groan in pain due to the hard floor she laid on but she discovered she was on something comfortable. She slowly opened her eyes fully and looked around to see she is in her room. She became confused and thought about how she got there and her clothes were changed. Her throat felt dry and she sighed in relief seeing a tray on her table, she stood up and rushed to it. She gulped down the water and sighed in relief, she ate her food hungrily and moaned. "Oh my God." She moaned and drank more water. She was finally satisfied and she sighed in relief again, the door to her room opened and Clara bowed on seeing her. "Good evening ma'am." Clara said and she nodded. "Are you okay ma'am?" Clara asked and she nodded. "Ma'am, am sorry for locking you up but it was the ordered I was given and I didn't want to lose my job." "It's fine." Clara said and she nodded with a smile. Clara slowly walked to her and carried the tray, she smiled at her and head towards the door. "Ma'am, if you need anything you can always press that button on the wall." Clara said and she nodded. "Hmm, Clara." Skylar called as Clara was about to walk out of the door. "Yes ma'am?" Clara asked. "What time is it?" Skylar asked. "It's 7:00 pm already ma'am." Clara replied and she nodded with a smile, Clara walked out and Skylar turned to the window. "I want to see the moon." She muttered and smiled. She waited till midnight and confirmed if the coast was clear when she couldn't hear the guards and maids moving in the hallway. She head towards the door and froze as she was about to open it. She thought of what could happen if she comes across the so-called boss again. Will she get locked up or get the worst punishment this time? She thought about how it would be if she gets punished. She got punished for interrupting a meeting but now she isn't planning on interrupting anything, not like she planned the one that happened. All she wants to do is stare at the moon till dawn on the roof. She thought about what could happen to her one last time before opening the door and walking out of the room. She slowly looked around the hallway and tiptoed towards the end of the hallway, after carefully walking around for a while, she found the stairs leading to the next floor and she walked up it. She got to the next floor and found another hallway, she ignored it and continued with the stairs, she finally got to the door leading to the roof and she opened it. The cold wind welcomed her and she giggled happily, she clapped her hands happily as she walked around the roof and looked at the moon. "It is so amazing." She giggled happily and closed her eyes as the wind blew her hair up.
