Chapter 2 Memory loss

Liam was confused on what she meant by Andrew.He looked at the nurse who was clearing her tools on the table.

"Nurse, what does she mean by that?" He blurted out staring at the girl who had a bright smile on face weirdly.The door opened and the doctor came into the room.

"Doctor what's going on here?" Liam questions the doctor as he was starting to lose his patience.

"Can I talk to you outside for a minute Mr Scott?" The doctor gestures to the door and Liam slightly frowned but nodded before following the doctor outside.

"Go on!" Liam signalled for the doctor to explain.

"Well you see Mr Scott,your girlfriend is suffering from temporary amnesia due to the impact of the hit" The doctor explained .

"What!" Liam yelled.

"Calm down Mr Scott I know how you feel,but it's just temporary your girlfriend will regain her memory very soon as long as she is not stressed out" The doctor explains further trying to calm Liam down.

"She is not my girlfriend!" Liam frowns .

"Oh if she is not,why were you scared for a stranger's life and helped her out?" The doctor suspiciously asked.

"Uhm...i" Liam stutters nervously,there was no way he was going to tell the doctor he was the one that caused her accident.

"Well I was driving when I saw a car run over her"Liam lied without blinking to avoid looking suspicious.

"You are so sweet Mr Scott,you know everyone did tag you as a ruthless billionaire that had no heart....but I always knew you had one in you" The doctor said with a sheepish smile on his face.Liam gave him a dead glare ,the doctor noticed his glare and coughs while laughing awkwardly.

"I have another patient to attend to"The doctor said before excusing himself out of the awkward situation.Liam looked at the room door and breathed in before opening it.

"Uhm nurse can she be discharged today?" Liam questions the nurse who was clearing her stuff.

"Sure why not,take care of her and avoid stressing her"The nurse bowed a little at Liam who nodded,The nurse exited the room leaving Liam and the girl who was staring at Liam weirdly in the room.

"What?" Liam questions wondering why she was staring at him like that.

"You acting strange Andrew" The girl blurted out.

"That's because I'm not andr....." Liam cut his words short, remembering the doctor's words.

"What did you say?" She said curiously.

"Uhm nothing" Liam mutters avoiding eye contact.She stood up and walk towards his direction as Liam stared at her watching her every moves.She stopped in front of him and crossed her hands on Liam neck while pulling him closer.Liam gulps as he blink rapidly wondering what she wanted to do.

"Kiss me"! She demanded

"What the hell!" Liam choked on his words .

"Are you okay?" She pats his back a little to stop him from coughing.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Liam mutters before moving away from her.

"Are you mad at me?" She asked due to his strange behaviour.

"No I am not,it's just a rough day okay" Liam tells her.

"Oh yeah,what am I even doing in the hospital?" She said as her eyes scanned the room confused.

"Oh you fainted so I brought you to the hospital"Liam tells her to avoid her thinking.

"Oh okay,"She nodded.

"Hmm let's go" Liam said as he left, leaving her in the room.

"What ,he didn't even help me out"She whines .

Liam POV

Gosh what have I gotten myself into,I should have just stayed home and work.This is all Elliot fault if he hadn't invited me for a drink I won't have gotten into a fight or hit a girl gosh.So I will have to let a stranger stay with me until she gets her memory? This is definitely not my day.

Liam thought was cut off when he saw the girl coming towards him.

"Get in the car!"He ordered and she immediately entered.Liam entered his car and slammed the door shut .He buckled his seat belt and looked at the girl who was staring at him.

"Stop staring and buckle your seat belt"Liam groans.She reach down to buckle it but couldn't,Liam rolled his eyes before buckling in for her.

"There now wasn't that simple hmm?" Liam stated.

"Thanks Andrew" She giggles.Liam glares at her before driving to his house.

Liam reached his house and pulled over and packed his car in his driveway before stepping out of the car.He looked at his phone and was about to walk off before looking at the car who was still inside , making him groan.

"Is she expecting me to open the door for her ?" Liam scoffed before going to meet her.

"Hey get out of the car" Liam knocks on the car window demanding she gets out of his car.Liam opened the car door and she stepped out and stumbled into him as he held her firm.

"Are you good?"Liam asked.

"Yeah" She mutters as Liam pushes her away from him a bit before walking towards his house.

"Are you just gonna stand there"Liam yells as he was far away from her.She shook her head before running to him.Liam opened the door and entered his house with her following him from behind.Liam removed his jacket and sat on the couch with his hand rubbing his forehead a little.The girl walk over to him and sat next to him making Liam look at her weirdly.

"What do you want?" Liam asked with a slight frown on his face.

"Let me massage your head," She said.

"What why?" Liam said, confused.

"Well you looked stressed out so I wanna massage your head" She offered.

"Thanks but you don't have too" Liam stated.

"Oh hush baby I want to be okay" She said and immediately got on his lap and lifted up to his chin to face her.

"Get off me!" Liam pushed her off his lap and stood up.

"What happened?" She said, confused.

"I'm sorry I can't do this anymore" Liam said while pacing around stressed .

"What do you mean,are you breaking up with me?" She said as tears filled her eyes.

"Huh?" Liam looked at her and saw she was about to cry and palm his face while dragging in down .

"I'm sorry if I did anything wrong but please don't break up with me"She stood up and hugged him ,Liam lifted his hands up as she hugged his waist tightly while crying.

"Hush girl am not breaking up with you"Liam pats her back gently.She releases his waist and looks up at him.

"I love you so much Andrew " She blurted out.

"Thanks" Liam replied, making her eyes tear up again.

"What?" Liam frowns.

"You don't love me" She said with tears dropping down from her eyes.

"Look..Uhm" Liam stuttered not knowing what her name was.

"What's your name again?"Liam grins.

"Amelia ,you don't remember my name?" She stares at him shocked.

"No I didn't,I just...you know what I will call you teddy from now on"Liam stated to avoid further questions.

"Teddy?" Amelia said.

"You don't like the name?"Liam asked.

"I don't,"She said.

"Oh.."Liam mutters but was cut short by her.

"I love the name"She said before jumping onto him and wrapping her arms around his neck,he held her waist firm to prevent her from falling.She looked up to face him .

"Kiss me"! She demanded as Liam gulped.

"Uhm teddy look I have work to do okay"He said as he tried dropping her down but she held her legs around his waist tightly not wanting to come down.

"No I don't want to leave you"Amelia whines .

"I need to work!" Liam yelled at her .

"You can yell all you want baby,am not coming down still you give me a kiss"Amelia slowly said .Liam heart skipped a beat at the word baby but shook it off.

"But I..."Liam's words were cut short by Amelia placing her lips on his, making his eyes widened.
