Chapter 2 Back for Her Revenge!

In July, the sultry air was outcasted by the strong wind.

Black clouds gathered in the sky, overshadowing the entire steel-and-concrete city.

A storm was on its way.

In the suburbs, a motorcycle was speeding downtown and suddenly stopped at the curb of a square.

"Breaking news, Dynamo Group of Cloud Sea City built connections with top power Reid family through marriage and joined the big league.

The engagement ceremony will be held on the ninth day next month. By then, the entire upper class and all the media will be invited. The event will be broadcasted live..."

The person on the motorcycle slightly lifted her head. In the helmet, her amorous eyes glittered cold light and stared at the large outdoor screen.

She was none other than Judith who just returned to her home country!

"In just four years, you hooked up with the Reids, impressive."

By all means, she survived and grew stronger but had underestimated the power of the Pates.

The Reid family had a history of hundreds of years, during which they accumulated tremendous wealth and connections. Owing to that, they secured the status of the most powerful family.

If she wanted her revenge, she couldn't let the Reids become the protective umbrella of the Pate family!

The corners of her lips gradually curved up, and she shot a disdainful look at a pretty face on the screen.

"Michele, I'm back and by all means should say hello..."

She veered the motorcycle, quickly disappeared at the end of the street, and reappeared in a downtown shopping area.

The 'young lady' of the Pate family was participating in a reality show. Judith didn't need to search for her because the paparazzi would expose her whereabouts.

BRIDE was an internationally top-class luxury dress brand.

Owing to the unique design, their expensive clothes were touted by ladies from rich and noble families.

Judith took off her helmet and casually flung her ponytail.

Her smart posture attracted a lot of attention, to begin with. When her delicate face was revealed, the whole world quieted down.

When she curled up her lips, her dimples were exposed. Her smile was innocent and sweet, but her eyes were mysteriously attractive. People just couldn't look away.

Judith stepped into the BRIDE store, took out a black diamond VIP card, threw it on the table, and smiled gently, "Block booking!"

"Ma'am, BRIDE has rules that everyone should observe..."

The lobby manager took her as a troublemaker but paled instantly at the sight of the card.

It was one of the three super VIP cards handed out by the founder of BRIDE!

This girl should be no average Jane. In an instant, he instructed the shopping assistant, "Go inform Miss Pate to leave ASAP!"

"Turns out she is the only customer..."

Judith cut him short and picked up a crystal table card from the counter, "Save the trouble, I'm an acquaintance of hers. I'll go up there for a look, and you guard the door."

All of a sudden, a streak of lightning went down, followed by rumbling thunder, and the sky went much darker.

Humming a song, Judith went slowly up the second floor and immediately spotted the woman in the spotlight.

In an exquisite evening dress, she was trying on a crown like a princess.

In the dressing mirror, her smile was broad and her cheeks shily rosy. She looked quite happy.

Holding the crystal table card, Judith's hand trembled slightly. "A random dress from BRIDE costs hundreds of thousands and even millions. Miss Pate is spending quite a fortune for the engagement party." She walked up and croaked.

Her sudden voice attracted the attention of several women there.

They were stunned by her beauty.

"Such little amount is no object to the Pate family."

Michele refuted the provocation.

When she turned around and saw the girl, her pupils contracted abruptly.

She looked just like Judith!

As Michele's face came into view, her heart gave a physical lurch.

Years apart, when they met again, the lingering pain and anger almost overwhelmed her!

"Michele, long time no see!"

Judith abruptly hurled the table card to her face. Michele screamed and dodged. Still, her face was scraped.

The fear made her weak and shout incredulously, "You, you... you are Judith!"

Wasn't she sold to Slave Island and died there? Why was she still standing?

"Yeh, surprise!"

Judith rushed over, flung her leg, and whipped Michele in the face.

"Ah!"

Michele fell heavily on the floor. Before she could get up, Judith stepped on her chest and looked down condescendingly.

"Kindly inform everyone that Judith is back for revenge!"
