Chapter 9 Alive!

The grief-stricken Calvin saw that Tyler was already dead, but Sophia was unwilling to leave him in peace. Instantly, he gritted his teeth, and his eyes turned bloodshot. He was so furious that he rushed towards Sophia like a fierce tiger and lifted his leg to kick the woman hard.

However, before his foot touched Sophia's body, he was shaken out by a force that appeared abruptly.

He took a few steps backward and fell on his butt.

There was a pain in his buttocks.

Calvin was dumbfounded, then furious, and looked up sharply, his bloodshot eyes fiercely shooting at the source of the force like a sharp sword.

He saw a figure standing against the sunlight. His silhouette was shining, and his eyes and brows were pretty as those of a figure in an ancient painting.

At first glance, Calvin felt that the man was immortal.

Noticing that Calvin was staring at him, the man lowered his eyes and adjusted his cuffs elegantly with his expression unchanged.

Calvin followed the other man's line of sight and saw the pattern on his sleeve under the dazzling sunlight.

The pattern was finely embroidered with silver thread, and the needlework was dense and meticulous. Apparently, the man's outfit was made of top-quality fabric.

Calvin's pupils tightened, and he immediately recognized that it was a scarce top-quality fabric that one may not get only with money.

Even Calvin, the man at the top of the Golden City's pyramid of status, could not help but feel shocked.

The stranger looked like a modest gentleman on the surface, but Calvin, an experienced person who had dealt with people from all walks of life, sensed the man's pride and arrogance at a glance.

What a dangerous man. Calvin, even if he knew it was the man who hurt him, he had to conceal his grudge deeply.

At this moment, Tyler's body shivered, and he then spurted out a mouthful of dark blood. His ashen face instantly became much redder, and his breathing gradually resumed its normal rhythm.

Some sharp-eyed people around noticed Tyler's belly heaving and were immediately shocked.

Ryan rolled his pupils, and his deep eyes slowly fell on Sophia with a glistening light in them.

Evan was dumbfounded at Sophia. As an ancient martial artist, he was most sensitive to the surrounding scent. A moment ago, he clearly noticed that Tyler was not breathing.

That woman actually brought the boy back to life by tapping his head.

Evan took a deep breath. Intuitively, he guessed that things were not that simple. The woman that his boss paid extra attention to must have a secret.

The paramedics carrying the stretcher also looked at Sophia with stunned eyes.

Sophia frowned at them, instructing in a cold voice, "What are you waiting for? Come on. Save him! Don't miss the best resuscitation timing!"

Her words woke the medical staff up. They rushed over to Tyler, then began to check him out and resuscitate him.

After Tyler's condition stabilized a bit, he was then taken to the ambulance.

Calvin witnessed the chaotic scene with shock.

When the paramedics passed by Calvin while carrying Tyler to the ambulance, they accidentally stepped upon his foot.

The pain in his foot brought him back to his senses, and he gathered up the shock on his face and leaped up from the ground in ecstasy.

Seeing Tyler being carried into the ambulance, Calvin rushed over to Sophia and knelt before her.

Sophia frowned slightly, moved to one side, and reminded the man in a light voice, "Hurry to follow the ambulance. Don't delay the best operation timing."

Calvin repeatedly nodded. Not even expressing his gratitude, he hurriedly got up and followed the ambulance towards the hospital.

The traffic police had arrived on the scene too. Such a major car accident involved many people. Sophia, Ryan, and the others were all taken to the traffic police station for statements.
