Chapter 7 Fiancé

In the Hilton Hotel.

On the wide grassland, a special engagement banquet was going on. Tens of thousands of bouquets, champagne, and many big figures present showed the importance of this engagement...

While she... was supposed to be the leading lady today.

But everything changed overnight!

"Aanisah?" Just when Aanisah was wondering whether she should leave silently, she heard Peggy's voice, which might sound sweet but was full of ridicule and mock.

With everybody watching, Aanisah suddenly felt that she could not be a deserter.

Now that she was here, she... should confront Peggy bravely!

She wanted them, a couple of shameless shitheads, to know that she didn't care about this, and she didn't give a damn about them at all!

Even if she had to borrow money from her classmates to buy a dress for this engagement banquet, and she even generously prepared a red envelope for them, which had a huge amount of money in it.

If she just left like this, she would be sorry for the "efforts" she had made!

"I thought you didn't dare to come? Huh..." Peggy glanced at Aanisah up and down, her face full of contempt, "You even bought a dress specially? Aanisah, are you so desperate to attend our engagement party?"

"It's my sister's engagement, so I have every reason to be here, let alone her fiancé is actually her prospective brother-in-law!" Aanisah looked at her faintly with sarcasm in her eyes.

There were people who couldn't help turning their heads to look at them when they passed by and heard Aanisah's words.

"Aanisah, if you dare to say anything nonsense, I won't let you off!" Johnny warned her in a low voice, his eyes full of killing intent.

The moment Aanisah met his gaze, her heart throbbed.

The memories of the past came out uncontrollably, lingering in her heart, "Johnny Wood, do you hate me that much?"

"I've warned you before. Since you took my warning as nothing, then don't blame me for not considering our affections before." Johnny looked at her coldly, "You have five minutes to disappear, NOW! Otherwise..."

"You will kill me?" Aanisah looked at him coldly. Although her hands and feet were shaking and her heart burst, she still pretended to be calm as if nothing had happened, "Heh, I really didn't expect you as such a narrow-minded man."

"Narrow-minded?"

"You think I'm here to make trouble?"

"Aren't you?"

"Johnny Wood, you really think too much!" Aanisah glanced at him indifferently and said sarcastically, "A man like you is really not worth me to do anything stupid! Aren't you just simply engaged with a woman? You perfect-matched scumbags being together is a merciful thing for others. And I am happy for you from the bottom of my heart!"

"You?"

"Aanisah, what are you proud of? Even if we are scumbags, so what? At least we are better than you! I still have someone who loves me! What about you? I'm afraid that nobody would be willing to touch you in your whole life!"

Peggy looked at her arrogantly. Her disgusting and insulting gaze made Aanisah fall to the bottom all of a sudden.

Unbearable memories instantly occupied her mind.

She thought she was fully prepared for all of this, but now it seemed that she still failed miserably!

"You really are here!" Just as Aanisah was racking her brain to refute her sister, a man's voice came from behind.

Aanisah turned her head and found it was the man she met this morning. His white casual clothes were replaced by a black suit now, and his slender figure was more perfect with the clothes. His chiseled features were so handsome under the illumination of the sun that Aanisah almost lost her breath.

"Miss Peggy, you're worrying too much!" Aanisah was stunned for a second, then she reacted quickly. Pulling the man to her side, she warned him in a low voice, "If you don't want people to know that you are a badass, you'd better cooperate with me!" Then, without giving him a chance to react, she introduced to Peggy and Johnny, "This is my fiancé. Now that I've given you my blessing, we are leaving..."
