Chapter 9 Sect Leaders Attitude

Zap!

A round of gasps.

People of the Law Enforcement Hall came over from the mountain road. They marveled at Shen Fangs words. Their eyes expressions changed completely when they stared at him.

"This kid is crazy."

"This is insane."

"An imposing master-hand of Advanced Condensation Realm was understated as just so so."

Those men gathered from distance and their faces were full of grotesque expressions.

It was known that there were ten levels of Body Exploitation, and every transcendence needed exponential spiritual Qi. The higher level you reached, the more difficult you improved the inner force.

The level higher than the Body Exploitation was the Condensation realm. It was even harder to reach the advanced level.

In the whole Chongfan Empire, not many people reached the Advanced Condensation Realm. In the Blue Wolf Sect, they were regarded as the master souls of the sect. It was unbelievable such a strong man could be understated as untalented man.

"I didn't expect Shen Fang to be so arrogant."

"Alas, I'm ashamed to say that Shen Fang, with Body Exploitation of Heaven Layer Three, killed Leng Bufan who had the Body Exploitation of Heaven Layer Eight, thus Shen Fang could be so arrogant."

"Does our Law Enforcement Hall come here for nothing?"

"To tell you the truth, when I heard about Shen Fang's duels, I expected the Sect Leader would ask about it. Now he intervened, I'm afraid the First Elder could no longer go his own way to punish Shen Fang."

The master-hands of the law enforcement hall dared not get too close, neither could they just leave. They had to gather strangely in the distance and muttered to each other. Looking at Shen Fang speaking with fervor and assurance, they all felt their hearts pound too fast.

The First Elder burst into a rage.

"You are courting death. I could execute you on the charge of disobedience to the elders."

Shen Fang sneered aside.

The First Elder clenched his fists and exposed killing intent in his eyes. He couldn't control it any more and he took two steps forward, anxious to catch Shen Fang immediately and tore him apart.

"First Elder!"

Shangguan Li's face was severe, and an awful atmosphere pervaded. His blue clothes draped and his square face had a natural majesty.

"My leader..."

Feeling the Sect Leaders displeasure, he took back his steps in horror and turned his head away.

Without anyone's notice, Shangguan Li glimpsed at Shen Fang when a light flashed in his eyes.

He could definitely see that this disciple was taking advantage of him. But if this disciple was as gifted as reported by his sources, he didn't mind even if he was used.

An apprentice disciple, who only had the Body Exploitation of Heaven Layer Three, killed six people continuously, including Hu Biao and Leng Bufan. There were two explanations for this.

One was that in the moment of life-or-death, Shen Fang exploited his full potential for a temporary increase of power. If so, he was not good enough to attract Shangguan Li's attention because potential eruption didn't necessarily mean the gift. Besides, the man would most likely struggle with later cultivate after the exploitation.

Another explanation would be that Shen Fang was an incredible genius by nature. He had understood the astonishing swordsmanship within just six months, thus he could beat or kill someone higher-leveled.

If it was the second situation, then the Blue Wolf Sect had found a treasure.

Such disciple would certainly shine in the future if he was brought back and well trained.

So, after getting the information, Shangguan Li came over at his fastest speed. For this disciple, he must take back for a good observation.

He turned his head again and said:

"First Elder, you know why I cherish talents so much. I know you are sad and angry about Hu Biao's death, but we need to put the sect on the first place. For this disciple, I need to take him back, and I hope you can let go of this."

Shangguan Li downplayed the whole thing, and suppressed the First Elder's rage.

With the chest fluctuating a few times, the First Elder suppressed the anger, took a deep breath and restored some sense. He knew that the Sect Leader intervened twice, which meant that he could not punish Shen Fang today.

He stared at Shangguan Li and asked:

"My Leader, do you think this kid is a genius?"

Shangguan Li nodded slightly, "I will observe."

"Well, if this kid turns out to be worth training, I would put the sect on the first place. However, I'm afraid he might be a firewood with an instant burning, and will lost his momentum after potential exploitation."

With the eyes exposing killing intent, the First Elder continued:

"Our tests for formal disciples will be held one month later, which would be the perfect opportunity to try his gift. Let him participate. And if he can't pass even one test, it will indicate that he was just exploiting potential instead of having natural gift. If so, Shen Fang will be a good-for-nothing. By then, I hope you can let me have him and punish him."

"As you wish."

Shangguan Li nodded.

The First Elder was right. We could take the tests for formal disciples one month later as the touchstone. If Shen Fang's performance couldn't satisfy him, he would not see him anymore.

For the matter how the First Elder would deal with Shen Fang, he would not interfere.

Turning his head to Shen Fang and Xiaoya, he said calmly: "Okay, you two, follow me."

He turned around and went off first. Shen Fang and Shen Xiaoya glanced at each other and quickly followed up.

The three of them went off along the mountain roads. Behind them, the First Elder's face turned ghastly pale while his chest fluctuated fiercely. When he stared at Shen Fang's back, his eyes were shimmered with killing intent.

The disciple who killed his grandson actually fled from his hands. The antagonism between them was developed.

"Shen Fang, today you've got the Sect Leader's protection, but that doesn't mean that you can have a life-time protection from the sect. This is definitely not over yet! One month later, if you can't deliver what the Sect Leader have expected, then you and your maid will be punished by me."

The First Elder clenched his fists loudly. Then he turned around fiercely and disappeared from the other side of the mountain roads within a few leaps.

On the hillside of the Sect Leaders mountain sat a deep courtyard. The door of the pavilion opened with a squeak, and a maid came out.

"My Leader, welcome back."

Maid Xiaoyu took over Shangguan Li's robe and looked at Shen Fang and Shen Xiaoya several times.

Xiaoyu had shining eyes and an attractive look. She was tall and full of vigor. As the most trusted maid of the Sect Leader, she was respected even by the elders in the sect. She certainly knew what the Sect Leader had done outside. Her stare at Shen Fang indicated something curious as well as deprecating.

She went aside and put away the Sect Leaders robe.

Shangguan Li walked behind a desk and sat down. He calmly raised his head with wisdom and vicissitudes in his eyes. It seemed that he could see through other's mind. All of a sudden, the room was pervaded with majesty.

The majesty of Sect Leader made Xiaoya sweat on the tip of her nose and cowered nervously behind Shen Fang.
