Chapter 7 Audition

Shelby saw the teasing in Maid Lee's eyes, and her little face flushed red without explanation.

After breakfast, she headed to the audition site.

It was discovered that there were a lot of actors and actresses who auditioned for the play.

Each of these people had their beauty, and they were all handsome men and women who caught eyes when carried out alone.

There were only a few that stand out and had both bone and face among the pile.

Shelby was at the top of the list, taking over the script synopsis and persona that Mia had brought over, not noticing in the slightest that there were quite a few cynical and unkind glances around.

The director and screenwriter of this "Beauty Plan" is Yuri.

He had a lot of fame in the industry, he was good at hype, marketing, and people who star in his TV series were always a hit and made an impact.

But there was one feature.

His plays were always easy to get bad comments.

His scripts were always extremely formulaic and weary, and he liked flamboyant acting skills. He had bad reviews in the industry and a lot of complaints from the audience.

Shelby noticed that she was auditioning for his play.

Her delicate eyebrows immediately furrowed.

Mia knew what she was thinking and said, "The play is really good, take a look at the synopsis."

She was already here at the spot, so Shelby had to continue going through the script.

At first glance, she found the script to be well written.

Mia leaned over to her ear, lowering her voice and saying, "The heroine is heard to be settled, it's Zoey."

Shelby froze.

Zoey was a child star.

She had a lot of experience and had a lot of audience.

But it had always been tepid for her fame.

Probably she wanted to get some fame with the drama.

Just thinking about the unhappy breakup of the last press conference, she sighed.

Auditions were in order. The second-tier and third-tier entertainers had to wait even they came here sharp on time. No one made a sound. In this business, ranking is more important than anything else.

Shelby was auditioning for the female number two.

In the play she was a stunning beauty, pure and innocent in the early days, became dark in the late days.

Real acting skills were needed.

As soon as Yuri saw her, his eyes lit up and he asked if she was afraid of being scolded.

Shelby shook her head, not afraid.

What she feared was oblivion.

She acted a few plots.

A fine sweat seeped from her palms after the director shouting 'cut', somewhat tense with anticipation.

On the spot, Yuri did not give her the result, but only asked her to wait for notice.

Coming out, Mia hurried over, "How's it going?"

"Said wait for notice."

It was something Mia had heard too much and was a little lost.

She is not well-connected and can't find out if this female number two is also set to make Shelby make a trip for nothing.

She was afraid Shelby was thinking more about it, and was racking her brain for a few words of comfort.

Shelby herself acted as if she was fine with it and said, "Try something else if I lost this, it's fine."

Mia mistakenly thought that she had been with Jackson all these days.

Despite her disapproval, she still wished Shelby happiness.

In the car, she suddenly remembered a rumor and approached Shelby and said in a small voice, "I heard that the Heyday Group is going to open an entertainment company."

"Really?"

The corner of Mia's mouth jerked viciously, "Aren't you communicating?" You've been together for two years, how come you are not informed like the outsiders?

Shelby hung her eyes lightly: "I don't usually take the initiative to mention this."

Mia looked at her with tough love.

"My princess! Who is he? He is the heir to the Johnson family of the powerful family, the president of the Heyday Group, a figure at the top of the world. Who would not want to please him, to say a few words to him, when you are around him all day, and you do not say a few words for yourself?"
