Chapter 6 You Are Fired

Isabella, the bride, and Simon Carter, the groom, also noticed Liam entering the hall.

Simon snorted coldly, looking at Liam with resentment in his eyes.

Today was his wedding, and this was one of the most important moments in his life. But Liam caused chaos in the Lambert family, ruining his wedding.

Simon sneered, "Liam, are you still working as an Uber driver? Why do you keep this job? How much money can you make?

Why don't you just work for me? I'm actually in need of someone to clean and maintain the staff's toilets on my cruise ship.

If you work for me, I may give you a generous salary. You can earn much more than you do now."

"Simon, stop it," Isabella said, nudging Simon.

In her eyes, Liam, with his eight-pack abs, was much more handsome than her fat groom, Simon.

She only married Simon for his money. If only Liam had even one-tenth of Simon's wealth, she would have chosen Liam.

Liam felt warm in his heart when he saw that Isabella had stopped Simon. He also remembered that she was the only person in the Lambert family who had never mocked him.

Liam nodded at her, indicating that she didn't need to worry.

At this moment, Liam remembered that he did not bring a gift. He took out his phone and sent Theo a message, asking him to deliver a wedding gift to the hotel.

Archie looked at Liam disdainfully and said, "You lived in the Lambert family's house for free for three years. How can you cheat on your wife? You are such an ungrateful jerk. Did your parents die early? Are you that ill-bred because no one taught you when you were a child? Uber doesn't want an employee like you. You are fired! Give me the car keys and get out of here!"

When Liam heard Archie mention his parents dying early, his face turned livid. Although the Lambert family constantly insulted him, they never said anything about his parents.

How dare Archie mention them! Archie must be courting death.

Liam threw the car keys to Archie and asked, "Are you the manager of Uber in Ninverton?"

"Why did you throw the keys so hard? Can you afford them if they break?" Archie took the car keys staggeringly and said proudly, "I am the manager. By next year, I will be in charge of Uber not just in Ninverton but in the entire state."

"Don't even think about it. You won't be working in Uber anymore," Liam said indifferently.

After saying this, he took out his phone and called Theo. "Theo, I want Archie Zanis to be fired from Uber immediately."

Archie laughed wildly upon hearing this. "Who do you think you are? Do you think you have a say here?"

He looked at Liam disdainfully. Apparently, he didn't take Liam's words seriously.

Liam put his phone back in his pocket and sneered, "Yes, I have a say here. You are fired."

Everyone was stunned. They all looked at Liam in disbelief.

"Ha-ha!" Dennis suddenly laughed out loud.

"Liam, you are so funny! Are you crazy? Who do you think you are to fire Mr. Zanis?" Archie also burst into laughter. "Right! He is so hilarious. Has he ever worked as a clown? He's very funny."

But at this moment, his phone suddenly rang.

Everyone fixed their eyes on Archie.

There was dead silence in the hall.

Archie took out his phone and looked at the screen. It was his superior calling.

He quickly answered it. "Sir, what can I do for you?"

A man's cold voice came through from the other end of the line. "Archie Zanis, I am calling to officially inform you that you are fired."
