Chapter 6 I'm a Witch!

POV

" I'm so sorry dear for what you have gone through. I have no idea how you will be feeling right now. I.. I.. Are you okay, darling? " she asked while pulling me in a tight hug,

" I.. I'm not okay, Aunt Bonnie. D.. Do you have an idea who could do this to my parents? Was someone after my parents? " I asked while breaking our hugs, she looked up at me with sympathetic eyes before saying, " I'm so sorry but I have no clue about it. Why did you ask that? Do you know anything? "

She was looking deeply into my eyes and I pointed out the word ' Titan' written on the wall.

" Titan?? "

Aunt Bonnie seemed quite astonished, she even took a few steps in a backward direction while looking at the wall with stunning eyes,

" Do you know anything about them? " I asked while raising my eyebrows, she chuckled as she cleared her throat before looking at me,

" No.. I have no idea about them, " she said,

Why do I feel like she was hiding something from me?

" This is the word my mother wrote with her blood before dying. I'm very sure it's related to my parents' murder. She wanted me to avenge their death. I'll take my revenge on them, " I said with a hoarse voice,

" What? Are you mad? You are thinking to go against the TITANS?? " Aunt Bonnie suddenly raised her voice, she looked quite afraid,

" Aunt Bonnie! What's wrong with you? You are looking quite different after reading this word. You said you don't know them but why do I feel that you are quite shocked? Do you really not know about them? "

" No.. I'm sorry my dear if I scare you but, I think you are going in the wrong direction. I think your mother was trying to tell you something else but you get it wrong, " she said excitedly while holding my hands,

" What do you mean, Aunt Bonnie? "

" See.. You said this is the last word your mother wrote before dying, right? You think yourself what would your mother be thinking at her last moment? " she asked while raising her eyebrows,

" She must be thinking about me... " I replied while looking at my mother's dead body,

" Yes, a mother would definitely think about her child. And, what would she think at that moment? She would think about who will take care of her child after her death. She was worried about you, not about the murderer who killed her. I think she was indicating you to go find Titans. Maybe, she wants you to stay with them after her death. A mother would never want her daughter to go on some kind of mission and avenge her by risking her own life. I think Titans are not the murderers but they are your next home, "

" Aunt Bonnie, are you sure my mother was trying to say this to me and not avenge her death? " I asked with confused eyes, she nod before saying, " I'm pretty sure about it, "

" Aunt.. "

" Sshh.. " She stopped me from uttering anything and after a few seconds, I understood why she did that as I listened to weird sounds coming from the next room.

" Izzy Run.. " My aunt screamed loudly as a big wolf suddenly jumped towards us from the entrance,

It would have caught me if Aunt Bonnie hadn't pushed me aside and faced herself,

" Aunt Bonnie!! " I screamed thinking that she might get caught by that fierce wolf but when I looked back in her direction I saw the wolf falling apart while my aunt was standing still in her position. I was stunned to the point of freezing. Just how did she do that? How did she manage to fight a big black wolf?

Before I could ask this to Aunt Bonnie, another wolf entered through the entrance and jumped towards her while howling loudly and this was the moment I found out how Aunt Bonnie managed to defeat the previous wolf. All that she did was raising her hands in the air and muttering few mysterious words and the wolf was fallen aside.

My mouth was hung open while my eyes were opened wide in shock and all that I was doing,

was staring Aunt Bonnie with blank eyes. Meanwhile, she rushed up to me before holding my hands tightly as she whispered while looking deeply at my eyes, " Izzy, let's go.. We need to run as fast as we can, "

As she instructed me, I ran with her. She kept holding my hands throughout running. We had been running for fifteen minutes yet she didn't let us take rest and kept saying to run faster. Time to time, she would turn back and see if someone was following us. She wouldn't let me turn back, but I was listening the sound. It was the sound of howl. Many wolves were howling together, passing chill down my spine.

There was a moment when I gave up running and stopped Aunt Bonnie,

" For God's sake, Aunt Bonnie, what the hell is going here? Why are these wolves after us? And.. And.. HOW THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT? YOU.. YOU JUST RAISED YOUR HANDS IN AIR AND PUSHED THAT THING ASIDE.. IT.. IT WAS LIKE.. LIKE MAGIC.. "

Aunt Bonnie looked deeply into my eyes before saying, " I know it's hard for you to see everything happening all of a sudden. I know you have a lot of questions to ask and you are scared. To tell you the truth, I came here just to tell you everything but.. It's not the right time. We have to run now. They are after our lives. We can't stop here, "

" Who are they? Why are they after our life? What is happening here? Are.. Are they the murderer of my parents? " I asked excitedly,

" I'm not sure, but maybe, " She replied,

" Now, let's go, " she added before holding my hands, but before we could run again a pack of wolves came from nowhere and surrounded us, leaving no room to run,

I swallowed my saliva before looking at her while she gave a sweet smile before saying, " You run and I'll take care of them, "

" What are you saying? How can you deal with so many wolves? " I frowned,

" I can, Izzy. Because.. I'm a witch.. "
