Chapter 2 SEALED WITH A KISS

I hurriedly packed the sandwich I made and headed for City hospital. I needed to come back in time to prepare for my job. When I got to Tim's ward, I noticed he seemed very sad. The moment he saw me however, he cheered up and his face started beaming with joy. I told him about my new job and the fact that I will be paid a lot of money. I promised him that I was going to buy him the world.

We both laughed heartily, then I fed him the sandwich and said goodnight. When I got to the door, he called out to me. As I turned, he smiled and said, "I love you, more than anything in the world." I went back to his bed and hugged him tenderly. With tears in my eyes, I told him "as long as you love me, I am content. I don't need anyone else and I love you too, more than anything in the world."

I woke up bright and early the following day and got to the office an hour before the resumption time. I was literally the first person that arrived at the agency. I even had to wait a while for others to arrive and open the office. When it was opened, I went straight to the human resource department and searched for the man who had accommodated my stupid behavior yesterday. When I found him, I apologized sincerely and thanked him once again.

He showed me to my office and I was really impressed with how exquisite it looked. My office was the closest to the CEO's and I assumed that it must have been made that way because he probably didn't want to be kept waiting. Just as I came out of my office, I bumped into Jack the CEO. "I'm so sorry sir, good morning sir," I quickly said. He regarded me for a while and then said, "you must be my new secretary." "That is correct sir," I quickly responded. "Alright then, see me in my office," he said before walking away.

I guess Mr Bill didn't have to introduce me anymore. I told him this but he insisted on Introducing me himself because he didn't want any complaints. I said "okay" and we both walked into jack's office. Mr Bill greeted Jack respectfully and then said, "this is Miss Cindy Banks, your new secretary." "It's okay Bill," Jack replied, "I've already met her. You can go." Mr Bill nodded before he walked away.

All this while, Jack had barely spared us a glance. He just sat down going through the files on his table. After Mr Bill left, he finally looked up and stared at me for a long time. I was wearing a yellow blouse and it was well tucked into my black pants. The blouse hugged my body tightly and accentuated my big boobs. I knew I looked really sexy. It was one of the perks that came with being tall and curvy. I wanted to look my best on my first day and this happened to be the best formal outfit in my closet.

I noticed his eyes lingering on my boobs and I felt very uncomfortable. He was very hot and charming but there was no way I was allowing myself to become one of the girls on his list.

"I have a meeting in an hour's time," he said in a very sexy voice. "I need you to come with me. Here, take this file and acquaint yourself with what will be discussed." I took the file from his hand and stood, waiting, while he went back to what he was doing. After a while, he raised up his head and said "Miss Banks, you may leave."

As I walked back to my office, I breathed a sigh of relief. He had practically undressed me with his eyes. I couldn't deny the sexual tension that lingered between us on our first meeting but I was sure of one thing, looking at my boobs was all he was ever going to get.

I went through the file and saw the contents of the meeting. He was about to sign on a very popular actor. The contract was going to be worth millions of dollars. This was a huge deal. I wondered why he needed me there anyways. The file showed that they had already negotiated their terms and come to an agreement. All that was left was the signing of the contract. I obviously had no business being there, but I guess he was my boss and knew better.

We left together for the meeting, in his car, when it was time, and I wondered why he didn't use his driver. He drove a Mercedes maybach and it was the most luxurious car I had ever been in. Just as I had envisaged, other than the initial pleasantries, I sat through the meeting without saying a word. The meeting soon came to an end and we got into his car. On our way back to the office, he suddenly made a detour, claiming that he had a document he needed to pick up from his house.

I began to feel apprehensive. I hoped he wasn't planning on doing anything untoward to me. I had taken self defense classes before and was quite good at martial arts so I planned to beat him to a pulp if he tried anything funny. Soon enough, we got to his house. I couldn't help but marvel at how beautiful it was. He invited me into his house and I followed behind him.

When we got to the living room, he asked me to sit and wait for him to bring the document from his room. Feeling uncomfortable, I told him I felt like standing because I had been sitting for a long time. He went inside the room while I leaned on the wall. He seemed to have a thing for artworks as they were spread all over the walls of his living room. I scanned them, one after the other, marvelling at the aesthetic value they brought to the house.

Eventually he came out of the room and true to his words, held a document in his hand. I turned because I thought we were about to leave but he said, "hold on" halting me in my tracks. I turned back to look at him and to my surprise, he threw the document on his couch and walked towards me. Before I could react, he held my face with both hands and sealed my lips with a kiss.
