Chapter 3 Trying to get over you

Hours later ,Mara came back home and rushed to her room as she followed through the back door. She heard some noise in the sitting room and heard her father the Alpha laughing out loud. She paused for a while as she began to wonder the kind of visitor that will entertain and make her father laugh out that loud .The laugh continued, then Mara decided to tiptoe to where the noise was coming out from.

When she got to the spot she stopped and peeped at the father's visitor.

Oh my gush is that not Alpha Alex ,my mate. Oh damn ....!!!!

He's so hot and sexy, look at those arms, as she asked herself rhetorically?

Mara continued to blush as she drew the attention of the young Alpha who had noticed her without her knowing.

she was pretty. When I glued my eyes to Mara I felt some goose bumps that were unexplainable at the moment. I mentally rolled my eyes on mara's wolf's drooling, she was pretty much rolling around and purring ,while I maintained eye contact with my mate .

I couldn't believe a day like this will come for me to see my dream mate.

He had beautiful gray eyes with a few black specks in them and silky black hair that he brushed to the side. I could almost feel how soft his hair was.

He was breathtakingly handsome and even at that, as my wolf graciously pointed out, he had very muscular arms underneath ,with a navy blue hoodie.

Haha ...... no! no as i said to myself, guys on hoodies . They are generally my weakness, they is something about them, that is so strange

My eyes snapped to little mike who was climbing a bar stool and glaring at me. I was confused. For a moment before realizing he was trying to have a starring contest with me.

How about we do that after lunch little mike? I said reaching over to mike and bringing him back on the ground. He shrugged and ran to the kitchen table where I had put the first batch of cookies

I turned my attention back to my mate and swallowed my spit

How does this works? Am I supposed to wait until he said something to me ? Or Should I go and shake his hand and what if he thinks am creepy.

Suddenly my wolf used it's fur and robbed my skin as its tinkled me .

Also Mara, these are his friends. Matthew, Eddy and Newton as my father pointed them according to their names . We all exchanged smiles to ourselves.

Alpha Alex intercepted the scene as he rose up . I thought maybe he was jealous about how his friends were smiling at me, cause I could see from his view he wasn't among those who trust their friends

"Alpha Alex cleared his throat and spoke audibly " Excuse me Alpha can I have a word with you privately?"

Of course Alex you can . I watched my father and Alex going into my father's secret court. I began to wander and ponder on what he wants to say to my dad?

"Alex why did you call me out here"?

My wolf growled at that instance I knew he wasn't happy about the question i threw at the Alpha ,he only wanted me to go ahead with the wedding arrangement so he could get a mate from Mara but I had to also take things slowly.
