Chapter 9 My Future Wife

I got up in the morning and I was shocked when I saw my shirt being tied around the bed. I sat down and was thinking about everything but I still couldn't understand. Whether it was my dream or it happened to me actually.

And how the hell did he run away?? I ran after him. If he would have been there I must have seen a glimpse of him.

I was so confused. And then I got ready for my breakfast. After breakfast, I was in my room reading my book when Rahul showed up. He was smiling.

He sat beside me.

"Hey, are you alright??"

"Yupp?? Why are you asking??"

"You were looking worried. And tell me are you considering this Engagement or not???"

"Stop it. There's nothing like that. I was just tired and this weather is making me uncomfortable. You know that I don't like rain."

"Yeah, I know that."

"Why are you here so early?? "

"Mom wanted to take you out for jewelry selection. The driver wasn't here so I decided to come along and give you my services."

"Well, that wasn't necessary. Your Mom can drive."

"I don't want to bother her. Besides I wanted to spend time with you."

He pulled me in his embrace and kissed my forehead. He was going to kiss my lips but I stopped him. After the night incident, I was so confused.

"I should get ready now."

"Till how long are you gonna get away with that?? My future wife."

I was getting up from bed and going to the changing room when he said that.

Future Wife. That was a trigger for me. I didn't turn around and headed straight towards the changing room.

I closed the door and sat down. Why?? I was cursing myself. I wanted to take out each and every single memory of that disloyal person from my heart from my mind but I can't. Every time I try to move on I can't.

And if I tell Rahul about last night's incident he would think I am a psycho. I don't want anyone calling me insane. It's all in my head. He wasn't there.

It might be because I decided to move on and my heart is just trying to make me feel that way. I still haven't gotten over Ryan but I can't forgive him if he shows up and I was sure of that.

I got up and cheered myself up and got ready. We went to the jewelry store snd after that we did some shopping. But all the time I felt like someone was watching over me.

I looked around but there was no one. So it was just my mind playing games with me. After shopping, we had our lunch and I felt so tired and we left. Rahul dropped his Mom and then was going to drop me.

The rain started heavily and I wanted to reach home. Rahul was talking to me and I was just saying Yes or No.

He stopped the car after entering my house.

"Hey?? Are you alright?? You can talk about it. I am listening."

"No, I am fine. It's just that I didn't know I would move on so easily. I know it's hard for you to deal with me. Trust me I am trying."

I kissed his lips and went out. I just wanted to assure myself that accept it. He is my future. At some point, I decided to tell her how I was feeling. But I thought everything would become so messed up.

They would think I am crazy and I didn't want that at all.

I went in and after changing my clothes I came out and said was using my phone and then I decided to take a nap and in the afternoon I got up and I was sitting on my terrace.

It wasn't raining and I was enjoying my coffee and was reading the book and then rain started again. I immediately got up and Was about to go inside the room When I saw a dark shadow near the tree across the road.

It was him. Definitely him. Same physique same height. I can't be wrong.

To get to know my answers I immediately ran outside. I went down and was about to go out when I saw Dad entering the house. I stopped immediately.

"Hi, sweetie! Where are you going??"

"I was Going to the kitchen Dad. I am feeling hungry."

"Okay. You didn't tell me when would your exam end?? I was thinking of fixing the marriage date after that. If you have no issues."

"I will confirm it soon but most probably after two weeks. "

"Okay. "

I went towards the kitchen and then I went back to my room. I decided to study for my exams and I then started reading and then the wind started blowing strongly and soon after that heavy rain followed along with thunderstorms and lightning.

I closed the door of the terrace and started reading and I was remembering that night when Ryan showed up at my window in such a heavy rainstorm.

I loved the rain at that time. And I was enjoying the rain and I got sick. As soon as he heard he ran and he was there. I was closing my eyes when I heard the door closing sound. He entered the room and to my surprise, he entered from the front door.

"Ryan what are you doing here in this weather?? This weather Doesn't suit you. You will get sick. Are you mad??"

"Don't worry I am fine."

"Didn't dad see you??"

"No, he wasn't home. Your mom was so I said hello and came here. Now, I head you aren't having anything?? Why??"

"Mom is asking me to eat those tasteless soups. I don't wanna have them."

He Chuckled and held my hand and kissed it.

"How are you gonna get better my future wife?? I don't want you to get weak."
