Chapter 4 A REAL DATE WITH TEDDY

"But why did you do that?"

Andre replied,he did notice the change in his heart rate after she said that, there's no way it could be her, he thought.

Then his phone beeped, Arianna's message arrived.

"He insulted my mom! I couldn't help it, it wasn't easy, I don't disrespect men Teddy, he pushed me to the wall".

"Deserve it..."He sent the message then . suddenly froze with a start of self awareness.

"Right! He is the most evil human ever, very rude and so full of himself , I loathe him! Arrrgh he is the most hated on my list!(angry emojis)".

Andre lost in thought,he wondered how she explained everything relating to his first day at work, there's only one way to find out.

"Teddy..Teddy are you there,why aren't you saying anything,I am so angry right now,I wish I had slapped him on both cheeks".

"Teddy why ain't you replying?"

"Teddy please talk to me(crying emoji)"

"I have a lot going on in my head now, I. am stressed and depressed, you are the only one who can help me get better".

Andre closed his eyes tightly and fell on bed.

As soon as Tianna returned to the sitting room, Arianna hid her wet face and quickly dried it up with tissue.

Tianna noticed of course.

She put down the tray of fruits she had in her hand on the center table and sat down beside Arianna.

Glancing towards the dining to see and found the food she had set for hours now still untouched.

She sighed deeply and gently stroked her hand over Arianna's shoulder.

"You've not touched your meal, you need to calm down Ari. Honey you can't continue crying over that fool of a CEO, you did the right thing by slapping the idiot, if you keep on crying then, your bravery is in vain".

"I told you that I am not hungry Tianna,I am.not crying because of him,I am crying because of my job,I put my all in it Tianna,I worked so hard so that in times like this,I will be that person whom everyone can testify that I need no replacement, I know how hard it was to get this job at first, so many standards, and now I am left with nothing,how will afford my mom's healthcare and expensive drugs, she's everything to me".

Tianna pulled her gently to rest her head on her own shoulder.

"Honey, you are not doing this alone,I will support you in my little way, besides I won't advise you to take back that job even if there's a chance, he might call you back".

Tianna pointed out.

"A chance...I don't think there's a chance for me to be called back, he hated me as much as I. hate him".

"There will be, definitely but too late, because he won't be able to have you back in company then, wait until he finds out how important you are in that company"Tianna replied softly and pecked her hair.

"You are not helping Tianna,and why is it taking Teddy so long to reply,I am so confused I don't know what to do"Arianna continued wailing.

Tianna rolled her eyes.

"I think it's high time you stop depending on your online boyfriend for emotional support, you put a lot of expectations on him, it will do absolutely nothing to help your mental health".

Arianna glared at her.

"What are you saying Tianna, this isn't why I came here,I wanted to be consoled not get my wounds peeled off and then have salt sprinkle on it"she cried more.

Tianna smiled at her.

"I know how you feel, Arianna, you wanted to show your colleagues and everyone who had mocked you for not having any successful relationships that you can do it, but having a faceless online lover is just pathetic".

Arianna looked away and frowned, drying her wet face.

"I am not doing to suit anyone, I love Teddy and he loves me, he said that I am the only one that understands him, you don't know our story".

"Well I think I do, you have told me your story a thousand times.

After suffering from a heartbreak from your last date, who dumped you because you caught him cheating and confronted him.

You decided to try this trendy website you saw online, anonymously soulmates, so you are scrolling through when you saw, a post notification of a newbie like you too.

"I need someone to talk to"

You wanted to reply then he deleted the post just a minute after making the post.

Then you had this feeling you can be of help and chatted with the depressed soul privately and from there,you teased him for days before he could open up to talk to you about his anger issues bla bla bla, so you guys found out you are soulmates and fell in love"Tianna sneered.

Arianna pouted annoyingly, a little disappointed she missed some important line in the story.

That's not everything,"she mumbled.

"Tell me best, what if he is not your dreamy type? Have you two guys ever thought of meeting one of these days atleast.get to know yourselves better."

Arianna groaned loudly.

"Teddy and I, we share this deep connection that appearances don't matter, don't judge a book by its cover but contents and trust me, the contents are good enough for me".

Tianna shrugged and took out a tissue from the box on the table to dap Arianna's face.

"Well if you say so, now....please eat something, you've been crying for hours, if you go home looking this pale. Your mom's going to worry about you".

"I am not eating until Teddy replies"Arianna whined childishly

"Argh! For crying out loud Ari!"

Tianna snapped in frustration.

Then her phone ranged, she took out her phone from her pants pocket and answered.

"Well hello Max".

She glanced at Aurora and shook her head.

"The heroine is here crying herself to death".

After listening for a minute or so.

She replied to him.

"I will tell her, bye".

She hung up and turned to Arianna.

"You Ignored Max's calls why?Well he wanted to know how you are doing . He said he will try his best to change the new CEO's mind about firing you, he really cares about you Ari, why on. earth are you two not dating"She queried getting an apple from the fruit tray to eat.

Just then Arianna's message notification popped.

She quickly took her phone and opened it.

It's from Teddy

"Hello unicorn".

"You got me worried,I was scared you did think I was too rude and decided not to chat with me anymore".

She replied.

Biting her nails, she stared impatiently at the typing notification till she received his message.

"Don't say something silly, you are the one person i have to talk to, now imagine my world without you(world emoji)".

Arianna's cheeks got stained with pink, Tianna noticed and chewed the apple slowly to get every detail.

"What about something to make your day unicorn?(purple heart emoji)".

Andre stated out of topic.

"(Sends a blushing emoji) Really?,what is it?"Arianna replied.

"A date,I want to see you Unicorn let's make this real, it's up to you,fix a date for us(a red heart emoji)"

Arianna's heart raced,her palms became sweaty and her temperature raised as beads of sweat summoned on her forehead.

"Really Teddy?"

"For real,let me ask in a proper way then,do you wanna go on a real date with me, Unicorn?"

"Oh yes I do! I do!"

She screamed out so loudly that Tianna had to ask after her mental health.
