Chapter 5 Nelson Group's Anniversary Party

After her encounter with Edmund, Chelsea went to the kitchen.

She wanted to cook some dishes for her last meal with Ethan.

Chelsea was washing the vegetables in the sink when she felt someone seem to be staring at her back. When she turned around, she saw Edmund standing at the door with gloomy eyes. The suit on his chest was stained with coffee.

She couldn't help frowning. Who had spilled coffee on him?

Much to Chelsea's surprise, Edmund strode forward and dragged her out. She was so startled that she struggled. "Hey, what are you doing?"

Edmund gripped her wrist fiercely, gritted his teeth, and said, "Chelsea, how dare you mention the divorce to Grandpa!"

Chelsea tried to pull her hand back. "What's wrong with it? Since we will divorce soon, it's better to inform Grandpa in advance."

Her stubbornness and cold face angered Edmund. He felt like a fire was burning in his heart.

But he held back his anger, glanced at her, and suddenly smiled meaningfully. "Grandpa said that as long as you get pregnant with my child, you won't divorce me. Are you that desperate to have a baby with me?"

Chelsea couldn't help frowning upon hearing his words. When did she say that she wouldn't divorce him if they had a child?

Before she could say anything, Edmund added, "Okay, I'll fulfill your wish." As he spoke, he unbuckled his belt.

Chelsea's face turned pale, staring at him in disbelief. "Edmund, are you crazy?"

In the past, she occasionally lost her temper with him. He seemed indifferent on the surface, but he tortured her in bed to punish her severely.

And at this moment, the look on his face was very similar to every time he fucked her hard in bed.

Edmund closed the kitchen door and pressed her against it. Their bodies almost stuck to each other. Chelsea resisted desperately. "Let me go!"

Edmund lowered his head, stared at her, and said, "If you want everyone in the house to hear what we are doing, you can scream as loud as you want. But I think no one will dare to stop us. After all, we are still a married couple now." His tone was so cold that he sounded like the devil from hell.

Chelsea struggled harder, but he held her hands tighter and pinned them on the door, making her unable to move a muscle.

Then he lowered her head and kissed her passionately and overbearingly.

Chelsea turned her head to avoid his lips, tears falling down her face profusely. But Edmund didn't give up. He sucked her lips again and slid his tongue into her mouth forcefully for an overbearing French kiss.

She bit his lips so hard that the taste of blood spread in their mouths.

Edmund stiffened for a moment. Then he let go of Chelsea's hands.

She pushed him away with all her strength, turned around, and ran out of the kitchen. Edmund just stood there and watched her receding figure. His body was stiff, and his jaw tightened.

It was Saturday night, time for Nelson Group's anniversary party.

Almost all the rich and powerful people in the city gathered at the venue.

Diane was also there, sitting beside Edmund.

Everyone in the entertainment industry knew that Nelson Group had a Film and Television Department. And it was said that Edmund founded it for Diane. In the past three years, Diane had become a popular A-list actress because of Edmund.

Since Edmund and Chelsea got married secretly, the public thought Edmund was still single. So there were always rumors about his relationship with Diane. When a popular actress and a mysterious and cold CEO were together, people's imaginations ran wild.

In the middle of the party, Edmund, Diane and several senior executives of Nelson Group walked up the stage for the kick-off ceremony of a film and television project.

After the ceremony, Edmund was about to get off the stage. But a familiar voice sounded behind him. "Mr. Nelson, wait a minute."
