Chapter 2 Now I don't want to kill you.

Alice coldly looked at the werewolf, confirming that he could no longer stand up. She looked down at the chain in her hand and was about to open the chain in her hand with force when suddenly the werewolf moved.

Alice raised her head and was about to kick the werewolf again when suddenly a claw faster than her flashed, cutting off the werewolf's head. Alice frowned in surprise; she raised her eyes only to see a tall, extremely handsome man in front of her. He wore gold-rimmed glasses that looked extremely elegant. But as soon as she saw the opponent's face, Alice could immediately identify this as a bloodthirsty werewolf. He is the fear of all hunters and his kind.

Alice was about to advance to a counterattack when the werewolf was faster than Alice. He stepped forward, grabbed the leash in Alice's hand, then pulled Alice, causing Alice to miss her step.

Alice came being dragged in front of him. He smirked and said: "What a beautiful rose, but unfortunately all roses have thorns."

Alice pursed her lips, scornfully looking at the werewolf who had just arrived; she said: "You too have a very handsome and elegant face, but unfortunately, the inside is full of garbage."

The werewolf heard Alice say that and did not comment. Alice dropped her eyes at the werewolf whose head had been cut off and said: "It's cruel, even if you dare to kill your own kind, what am I in front of you."

When Louis heard Alice say that, he just lowered his eyes and looked at Alice but didn't say anything. He pulled Alice behind him, and Alice frowned, trying to escape. But Louis's power is too strong, and she can only refuse to follow behind Louis.

Louis's leather shoes collided with the brick floor, making a "clack" sound that seemed extremely clear in the dark.

Louis tilted his head, silently looking at Alice. Only now did he discover that Alice was not wearing shoes, only barefoot. The ground in the dungeon was extremely cold, and Alice's feet weren't comfortable right now.

Louis was a little worried in his heart but still couldn't do anything in the end. He knew Alice hated him. There was a misunderstanding between them, which he couldn't explain now.

Louis could only silently continue to move forward. Alice was still walking behind Louis, not saying a word. What was a slight discomfort in her legs; she had suffered more than before.

At this moment, Louis suddenly turned around; Alice stopped, smiled scornfully, and said: "So, you changed your mind about killing me too?"

Louis heard Alice say that his handsome face wrinkled. He didn't say a word but bent over and picked up Alice.

Alice suddenly couldn't prevent being picked up by Louis, her eyes widened slightly, and then she became furious. With one hand, she slammed into Louis' chest, almost roaring: "You bastard, put me down!"

When Louis heard that, there was still no reaction. He hugged Alice to his room. His room is linked to this prison. He seems to be the warden of this nightmare prison. Although he has not become the leader of the werewolf clan, no one in the family dares to oppose Louis simply because he is solid and more robust than anyone. No one can match him, so no one has a more prominent voice than him in the clan.

Louis carried Alice while Alice struggled. He opened the door with his foot, then entered the room and, without being gentle, threw Alice onto the bed. Alice, in contact with the soft mattress, bounced up a bit; she glared at Louis, then immediately sat up, frowned, and said: "If you want to kill, kill quickly. I don't have time to play with you!"

Louis bent down to take Alice's hand and growled: "I'm not playing with you either!"

Emily looked at Louis's face, silent for a while, then suddenly, extremely indignant, said: "You don't have to pretend like that. Isn't your life pleasing right now? Why don't you show me that demonstration? It's like you're in a lot of pain."

Louis heard Alice say that and did not say a word. He let go of Alice's hand then sat down to one side and said: "Looks like we're having a misunderstanding."

Louis said these words with a very cold face, but no one knew how uneasy he was inside. Alice looked at Louis; she sat up and sneered: "Okay, what's the misunderstanding? Can you tell me?"

Louis looked at Alice silently; Alice had never used this expression to talk to him before. She loves to laugh, and her smiles are so sweet they can make anyone fall in love. But now the girl who used to laugh at him looked at him with extraordinarily contemptuous and hateful eyes...

Louis pushed up his glasses and said slowly: "What's your reason for coming here?"

Alice looked at Louis, fearless, and said: "Of course I'm here to kill you. I think you ought to know this by now."

Louis also expected this answer, but when he heard Alice say it herself, her heart felt different.

He wanted to touch his aching heart a little.

Louis looked at Alice and said: "I don't understand why you want to kill me, isn't our relationship very good before?"

After Louis said these words, Alice seemed to react even more strongly. She glared at Louis and said: "Do you still have the face to say these things to me? You still dare to say things in the past. Are you mocking me in the past when I was blind and couldn't see myself? You'd better shut up, and we're not related now."

When Louis heard Alice say that, his brow furrowed slightly. He desperately wanted to show a helpless expression and looked at Alice, asking why she said that, but he couldn't. Standing in his position, he couldn't do that; that would only make Alice even more contemptuous and wary of him.

Louis looked at Alice, suddenly smiled, and said: "I don't think our relationship has reached that point yet."

Alice smiled at Louis, and she hated this werewolf. Why can he still pretend to know nothing after everything?

She looked at Louis and said: "Okay, you say you don't know? My whole family was murdered by werewolves, you don't know about this? It's none of your business either?"

Louis heard that and was a little surprised; he got up from his chair, looked at Alice, and said: "Your family was murdered?"

Alice saw this appearance of Louis and couldn't help but laugh scornfully: "No need to pretend, I will never believe you."

Louis looked at Alice, beginning to confirm his current situation. He was sure Alice wouldn't trust him anymore, but he needed to keep Alice with him. Today's incident of Alice's assassination of the high-ranking werewolves caused an uproar. Alice is a highly talented hunter; she has killed countless werewolves; although she aims to assassinate Louis and some high-ranking werewolves, it is undeniable that Alice's appearance caused significant damage to the werewolves. If Alice appeared outside now, she would indeed be killed.

Louis looked at Alice and said: "Now use all the concentration of your life and calm down. I have something to tell you."

Alice was angry, but she wasn't the kind that didn't understand. She looked at Louis, was silent for a while, and finally raised her eyes and said: "Okay, say what you want to say quickly."

Louis looked at Alice and said: "You seem to have misunderstood something. I have nothing to do with your family's extermination. I didn't know about it until you told me."

Alice let out a small laugh, clearly distrusting Louis.

Louis looked at Alice and said: "Now I don't want to kill you."

Alice raised her eyebrows and looked at Louis, not paying any attention: "So when do you want to kill me? Or you can't do it? Louis, Louis, since when did you become so soft-hearted?"

Louis didn't seem to notice Alice mocking him. He looked at Alice and said: "Perhaps you also know that now that you die, the person who benefits will only be your enemy. Your parents used to be kind to me, so I will definitely avenge them."

Louis said so despite Alice's gaze growing colder and colder. He continued: "So now you choose to go, die immediately or live to wait for me to investigate the results?"

Alice looked at Louis and said: "I'm not afraid of death, but I'm a little unwilling.

But you say that; how can I be sure that the results you show me are not carefully arranged by you to deceive me?"

When Louis heard this, he said without hesitation: "You can make a contract with me."

Alice was a little surprised when she heard Louis say that. Louis saw Alice's expression and continued: "Blood contract, I will investigate the truth of that year for you without any deception. In return, during the time I investigate, you must obey, not cause trouble everywhere, affecting the progress of my investigation."

Alice immediately said: "How can I know you don't buy time? How long is your investigation? What if you investigate for a lifetime? I have known for a lifetime. The werewolves are very long, don't try to fool me. "

Louis sighed, a bit helpless at Alice's sharpness. He continued: "Okay, you just need to give me two years."

Two years is not a long time. Because the werewolf race's internals is a bit complicated, it's only natural that Louis spent time investigating. Alice lowered her eyes and thought for a moment, finally raised her head to look at Louis and said: "Okay, I agree. I hope you don't disappoint me by then."

Louis saw Alice agree, and he sighed in his heart. But before he could say anything, Alice said: "It is your business not to kill me now. But until you prove your innocence, you are still my enemy."

Louis suddenly wanted to let out a long sigh; he looked at Alice and said: "Okay, I'll write the contract right away."

Alice did not expect Louis to be so self-conscious; in her heart, she wondered if he was not involved in the genocide of her family. But Alice was not so soft-hearted; she wanted to continue to see what tricks Louis could do.

Louis cut the blood from his hand and then wrote a contract. He brought the contract to Alice and said: "I think you already know the ritual, don't you?"

Alice didn't say a word, and she cut the blood from her hand; the blood dripped onto the contract and instantly vanished into the air. But both knew that now that the agreement was in effect, if one of them did something wrong with the contract, it would be severely punished.

Louis looked at Alice with a cold, gentle face that even Alice did not recognize. Louis said: "Okay, now there's no need to ruffle the fur."

Alice heard Louis say that and frowned but didn't say a word. She jumped off the bed, stretched out her hand in front of Louis, and said coldly: "Unleash me."

Louis looked at Alice and jokingly said: "Why take it off? I think that's also very beautiful."

Alice was about to say something when Louis snapped her fingers; the chain in Alice's hand instantly resembled an ordinary rope easily broken. Alice rubbed her tired wrist; Louis looked at Alice and said: "You haven't worn shoes until now."

Alice heard that and looked down at her feet. Indeed, she did not wear shoes, just fought with werewolves and even got some blood stains. But Alice didn't feel anything either. She was a werewolf hunter, and the harsh circumstances had tempered her countless times before; this little wound couldn't make her wince.

Louis saw Alice like that and couldn't help but feel a little hurt, but now he couldn't show anything.

Louis looked at Alice and said: "Go take a shower, I'll prepare your clothes."

When Alice heard that she couldn't help but smile and said: "Do you feel like we're dating now?"

When Louis heard Alice say that, his heart was a little speechless. It's incomprehensible why after all these years, Alice is still like that, likes to tease others, and then doesn't take responsibility. Louis doesn't know Alice used that face and knocked how many people during his disappearance...

When Louis thought of this, his heart sank a little. Without saying a word, he left the room. Alice watched Louis's back for a moment, then went into the bathroom.

When Louis returned, there was a sound of water in the bathroom. He went to the front door and said: "Here are your clothes."

There was a moment of silence inside, then the door immediately opened, and a slender white arm reached out. Louis looked at the arm thoughtfully, then put the clothes on that arm. Alice retracted her hand and then closed the door.

After a long while in the room, Alice's icy voice suddenly came: "What is this? You brought your clothes for me to wear?"

When Louis heard Alice say that, he didn't care and said: "There are no women's clothes in my place."

Alice did not say a word. After a while, the bathroom door opened again. Alice was wearing a shirt; compared to Alice's body, Louis' shirt was too big. The low-cut collar revealed Alice's slender white collar and delicate collarbone, and she was also wearing only Andrew's shorts below. Pants that should have been just above her thighs were now reaching her knees.

Alice grabbed the waist of her pants, smiled at Louis, and said: "And yet you don't have women's clothes? I think you must have been very stylish these past few years."

Louis heard Alice say that then smirked and said: "Probably because I couldn't find anyone to my taste. My standards are very high, and even a bedmate is no exception."

When Alice heard that, she shrugged her shoulders, not paying attention. Her smile is hidden, and no one knows if she is smiling or laughing mockingly.

Louis looked at Alice, and that was it. No matter how many years passed, he still couldn't grasp Alice's mind. Alice is like a bird, and a bird will always fly freely in the sky. But deliberately, Louis wanted to break Alice's wings, imprisoning Alice as a precious object. Just for Alice to appear before him, only he could see Alice, making Alice stay by his side forever.

Of course, at present, Louis cannot fulfill this wish. He tried to dismiss that dangerous thought, but today Alice brought herself to the door...

The beautiful cage that Louis weaves will protect Alice and will also deprive Alice of her freedom.
