Chapter 2 Marriage

Bella's - [P.O.V]

"But mum... I can't marry him... I heard he drinks, he sleeps about, he knows nothing about business and rumors say he's a sex and drug addict who lives a reckless life... Plus I don't love him." I said looking at her as I was about to leave, but then, she grabbed my hand.

I could tell that her fingernails was going even more deeper into My flesh as she held me to herself making me begin to panic from the inside of myself, and I was beginning to hope that the spirit in which I have as friends don't attack on her now, or that my powers does not reveal how dangerous I really am.

"Mum please, I don't want to marry anybody right now, especially in that family, I have heard and read news about how dangerous they are and I'm not ready to get myself involved in that right now, so please mummy consider." I begged her as she held me to herself with no scent of pity in her glare at all.

"Oh don't mummy me." I hushes me.

"You don't have a choice now if I am right." She said looking back into my eyes.

"I don't understand." I said looking back at her.

My wrist began bleeding and I saw my blood dropping over the house tiles.

The lights in the house switched off and on.

I could tell my protective spirits were around.

I was not ready to expose myself either.

"All these years, we took you in and treated you like our child and gave you everything that you needed and now we are at a crisis and you are trying to tell me that you have a right to choose what you want to do with your life?" She lands a not so hard slap over my arm which caused me to shake in fear.

"Are you kidding me right now?" she asked as she grabbed my hair from behind making me whine in pain.

"How can you be so ungrateful after everything that we have done for you, you will do as I say because you have no choice and did nobody that can help you, are you listening to me!." She roars at me.

"Yes!" I cried staring into her cruel eyes.

"Please, but I don't want to die, I heard the man is killer, that is why I am scared to Marry him... And because I don't know who he is, I am sorry, please I can't..." I said before she interrupted me immediately.

"Okay, I am pleased to tell you that your caretaker is about dying of heart failure... And she needs money for her health... So if you marry the wretched illegitimate son of our company's top partner, I will pay for your caretaker's hospital heart surgery... So what do you say..." She said, wickedly to me, trying to sound caring.

"Em." I was about to think before she interrupted me again and I listened.

"Or don't you want her alive!?" She said to me with an evil grin as she arranged my hair behind my ears.

I was shaking... Expecting to be slapped as usual.

Or treated like a slave by her again.

The embarrassment before Daniel was immense.

She literally showed him how worthless I am.

"If you dare back out... I promise you, that I and my husband will make your life miserable hell, and then we will throw you out!" She threatened me as my blood began dripping out from my wrist, from her tight grip.

I looked at everyone... Their eyes were on me.

"I will also make sure that you don't get access to fly out and any job in the country." She added.

The wickedness I had endured was now enough, and I needed to think of my caretakers health.

She was the only one really worth my sacrifice.

Because it was only her that showed me love in this life.

So I need to make sure that she is alive.

"Fine! I will marry him, if you pay for my caretakers health." I accepted to secure my caretaker's life.

All the bobs in the house exploded.

"Bella!" I heard the voice of an angry demon.

"Ralmea....Dario!" I casted a spell.

Pausing everyone and I saw the demon.

"How can you let them hurt you this much?" The demon spirit said dragging out a huge sword.

"I will kill all if them." The demon added.

"Please don't, today is the day that I leave this place, so go back to where ever you are coming from!" I yelled.

This was the only way to command demons.

"Fine, but your fake mother's head comes with me." The demon said rushing to lash at her.

"El-lacaDa!" I casted a spell at the demon.

Banishing it to another dimension.

I walked back towards her and placed my hand back into hers and un-paused time.

She released my wrist as tears bursted out from my eyes, but I immediately cleaned it off.

"Someone needs to fix this house electricals." Her husband said from the side.

"You need to be strong to survive." My caretaker always told me this and crying was never the solution to the pain I have been going through.

I didn't know how Kelvin looked like but Helena had once said he was an illegitimate useless son of their company's top partner, who lived a worthless life, and that he wasn't rich as his parents didn't care for him.

"Bella! Now be prepared... tomorrow is a day for better opportunities and the fulfilment of a contract agreement." Phillip said to me like a boss and I ran off from their premises.

I didn't want them to see me sad.

I was heart broken and sad that I was something my adoptive parents could use as a toy for their interest.

I couldn't believe my eldest sister, Helena, had switched her said to be; useless husband to me.

For tomorrow... I will be married to him.
