Eventually, I slept there until very early that morning. I was awoken by the barks of angry trained dogs. They were owned by werewolf hunters searching for a werewolf in the forest and that meant I had been caught. I stood up swiftly from my laying position and began to run.
"Over there," I heard the men screaming.
My heart raced faster and I continued to run in the dark forest. I could see flashlights pointed in my direction. This was the end of my life.
"Faster Elsa," I heard my wolf saying.
But this was the fastest I could go. Then, I hit my legs hard on a rock and I fell to the ground. "this was my dead end," I thought.
I could no longer hear the barks of dogs. But a little flashlight coming in my direction. As the first time-shifted, my wolf was very weak. Then, a masked boy came over to me. I stared into his eyes and I was lost. I was in a terrible situation and I was falling in love. I said to myself.
The boy kept staring at me without making any attempts to move. "Was he going to report me to the others?" I thought.
Michael's POV
I am Michael, the son of Mr. Rufus, the Mafia heir of the werewolf hunters. That morning, my dad informed me that we would be going for some werewolf expenditure as some wolf activity had been discovered in the city.
I got into my werewolf protective equipment and joined them in the forest. I wanted to make my dad proud by being the one to get this werewolf.
In the forest, the werewolf was sighted easily and we started chasing her. But a few minutes into our search, we lost track of her.
"Search over there," I heard my dad saying.
I went to my assigned location and found the werewolf lying on the floor of cold mother earth. I had never seen such a beautiful thing all my life. I couldn't let them have her, I would have to help her escape or she would be killed.
"Stay there and don't move an inch," I said to the werewolf. I wondered if she understood what I just said as she only stared at me.
I went over to the rest of the gang as though I had not seen anything at all. "Did you find anything," my dad inquired...
"No father," I replied. "There is no werewolf there.
The rest of the werewolf hunters joined us. They also didn't find anything. I could not take my heart away from the werewolf. I wanted to go back to her and ask for her name. Or even hold her hands.
I was supposed to be a werewolf hunter, but here I was longing to be with a werewolf myself. But it wasn't me. It was something on the inside that wanted her and it kept telling me that it was mine.
I would have to go back to her anyhow. My dad noticed my clumsy walk and he could not help but inquire about what was going on.
"What is it Michael," he inquired.
"I dropped something at the other end of the forest and I have to get it," I replied.
"Okay, son but be very careful."
I pulled away from them and journeyed to where I found the werewolf. But she was no longer there. I looked around and found her staring at me in the bushes.
"Hey," I waved at her.
ELSA POV
I stared at the masked young boy that just rescued me from those hunters. He had come back for me. I never knew that humans could have a heart of flesh in them.
I advanced slowly towards him and snuffed him. He had a very sweet scent and I wish he was mine.
"Who are you," I inquired.
He seemed a little bit shocked hearing me speaking to him.
"You can speak," he said to me.
"Certainly," I replied. Now that you know that, can you please tell me who my savior is," I inquired? "Are you part of these werewolf Hunters," I inquired further
"Yes," he replied."And I am...."
That was the only thing I could pick from all he said. He was a werewolf hunter just like my father's killer and the one who lead the massacre of my pack. My love for him vanished into stale hatred and all I wanted now was to have him dead.
He saw the anger in my eyes and he began to advance backward. I began to recall how everything in my pack was destroyed, how my mother was shot before my very eyes, I wanted my revenge and I would begin with him.
As he attempted to run away, I pounced on him and pierced my long claw into his chest while he let out a scream of despair.
"Michael! Michael," I heard my enemy screaming. I could pick out his ugly voice even in a flood of other voices. I looked down into the dying boy's eyes and it was full of confusion.
"I am very sorry but I had to do this," I whispered into his ears and ran into the forest before his father would get me there.
