Chapter 5 The fight in the office

"Where is she!"

A profound husky voice is given attention to in the room. She answers while making an effort to lift herself from where she was laying and she clears her throat to clasp his attention. "Mmhr, looking for me?"

Taylor's ambiance transformed to a different one after spotting her voice from where she was seated and his gaze glued to the human that had dared to sit next to his beloved Lizzie and in such a cross-rim. He gave the ax to his two escorts because he didn't want to show that he had weakness already. The two made entry through the door and leaves the door behind them closed. The turmoil that was ripening within him was glimpsed by how inquired about it.

"What the heck were you two doing together inside this locked office before I made my way in? Don't you know the company's rules?"

Paul who had not met the new company's CEO scurried in to question him. Lizzie was making an effort to stop him from uttering another word that would land him in trouble by pulling taut his grasp on his hand but these assumptions fell on deaf ears. In Paul's mind, he thought that she was trying to communicate that he should not relinquish and have it out on him since he was the intruder. He thought that he was that deviant from yesterday that made her bestie weep uncontrollably. As they were asserting, Lizzie had to come between the two to break the fight up. This was because they were almost going to hurdle each other's complexions up in the subsequent minute and it would be such an embarrassment to the three of them mostly her after what happened earlier that forenoon. She wailed out as she tried to disentangle the two who had already clutched each other on the collars."

"Hey hey! what do you think you are doing? Will you stop having it out with each other or do you want the whole organization to come and watch the New CEO fighting with a mere employee in the company striking each other? It is just a few hours of me knowing you as our New CEO who will be our role norm to look up to and you have this fight Is changing everything without even consulting anyone and what if someone comes in now? What will we learn from such a CEO that is violet."

Paul who was still having the vitality to proceed with the fight was taken hold of by the name New Company CEO and his stares widened holding Taylor's collar he tugged Lizzie by her hand and was about to thrill out with her when he felt a substantial hand is Paul's shoulder as he veered around to look, a heavy energy met his charming complexion which directed him to land on the cold floor. Before he could compile himself up several punches touched down on his face. Mr Taylor's body had flinched and his eyes had flushed. Lizzie stood there shocked, staring at the two as they whacked each other. She could not stand it anymore because to say the certitude of these two fightings was for something outrageous. She hastily reached out to call the two escorts who were dismissed earlier by Taylor. She shouted,

"Hey, you two! Please hurry up and come detach them they will slaughter each other! You....ur superior has gone out of the regime and he is blasting my friend like he is going to eradicate him."

The two escorts stormed inside but stood still because they were wondering what was happening and as they kept an eye on their boss who was the one punching the gentleman, they were at ease because they gave evidence of their boss's potency and his ability in winning a war. Suddenly, Lizzie barged in after making sure no one was walking past her office, only to smudge the two escorts still standing smiling while scrutinizing the fight.

" How dare you watch your boss be violet and stand still? What if an investor storms in or an employee what will they think of their New CEO." She inquired angry with them. The two escorts hurried to detach the two and Mr Taylor was enraged more by seeing Lizzie standing in justification of his antagonist side and worst of all supporting him and caring for him from the floor. His heart was broken into pieces, He could not stand that glimpse anymore so he stormed out after thrusting the escort who had taken hold of him leading them to fall on their butt and he vanished through the corridor as he headed to take the employee's elevator. There was no one along the way even in the elevator. He pressed the elevator button leading to the first floor. In the elevator, he cursed to himself.

" How dare she mortify me in such a manner! Why am I in such pain I just met her yesterday night. She is driving me crazy! She was the heftiest mistake that I came to commit and indulge myself into knowingly."

He took his phone from his pocket and wrote a text which was delivered to Irene before he stormed out of the elevator. He was so consumed away by his enraging acrimony and his overthinking that he did not notice his father who was calling out to him while waving from behind on the corridor after he got out of the elevator. He took a taxi that one of the company employees in Brooklyn had come out from it. He instructed the driver calmly.

"Drop me at Cascade Hotel."

The driver starts the car engine and they vacate from the company entrance to head to Cascade Hotel. It was a 10-minute lift before he docks at his terminus. His father who was left dumbfounded by his son's demeanor after talking over earlier with him, was quite amused. He had to excuse his son's demeanor to the staff before he proceeds with making arrangements for his retirement.

"I am sorry for the sudden disbelief of my son earlier, he seemed to be in a hurry but he will be with you after my retirement, so don't mind him now he is familiarizing himself with the company's policies. Well, all the details for my retirement program I handed them to Eliza, the chief of staff and she will keep you informed. Have a lovely afternoon guys I will miss you." The crowd responds emotionally,

" we will miss you too, boss."

Mr Taylor who had arrived outside Cascade Hotel got out of the taxi after reimbursing it off with his credit card and headed inside to the hotel reception area.
