Chapter 4 The surprise birthday party

"thanks a lot, Ashley," Tatiana said in between tears. She looked at all the people at the birthday pool party she has never been to a pool party before and she had to admit it was gorgeous. She even had it in mind that the next time she throws a birthday party then it'll be a pool party.

Now and then someone would come and take a picture with her. They said she looked gorgeous and even more beautiful than anyone else there. All the girls there were hot and somehow Tatiana felt uncomfortable but when people praised her then her courage grew.

"When did you plan all this?" she asked looking at Ashley.

" The whole time you were outside the restaurant waiting for Dave to show up" Kehlani answered clearly.

Tatiana smiled " I didn't know you were this sweet Ashley" Ashley just smiled and headed for the mic at the DJ's corner.

"Hey everybody calm we are going to take a shot for my new friend's birthday. Shout out to all the lovely couples in the building and thanks to everyone for showing up, y'all know I love you so much, alright take this shot everybody" everyone took the shot and the music was on.

They played kehlani's song best friend.

Are all these people here couples? Tatiana asked herself when she saw that everyone was dancing with a partner now how the hell was she going to dance alone? Her thoughts were interrupted by someone who took her hand. Turning to face her

"An A... Ashley!" Ashley pulled her closer to her and placed her hands on her waist.

" Will you dance with me?" At first, she looked startled but she agreed on remembering that it'd be awkward for him to be seen dancing alone while the party was prepared for her. Or even find herself dancing with a stranger. She placed her hands on Ashley's shoulders smiling.

"Do you like the surprise?" Ashley asked expecting to hear a good response "Yeah it's good here I'm having fun with your friend thanks" she said smiling and looking directly at Ashley's eyes.

" you have beautiful eyes" Tatiana blushed but still managed to talk

" don't tell me that, you don't want me to be shy, or do you" Ashley

laughed for some time and now they concentrated on dancing they were both tensed. Tatiana was tensed due to Ashley's grip on her waist and dancing with her and on the other hand, kehlani was tensed because of the girl she was dancing with.

This girl was just everything you could look for in a girl. Her perfect curves her beautiful smile and the eyes, and the eyes were

just something else and kehlani didn't want to stare at them any longer or she would end up doing something she would regret later. She was glad that the music ended because she had had a hard time. Tatiana didn't stop staring at her the whole time they were dancing.

She had promised herself that she'd make her wear glasses every time they are together after this day. People now formed a circle.

" what's happening Ash?" She asked Ash who at first laughed and then decided to say it

" Preparing to dance people dance inside the circle do you want to?" She asked Tatiana who looked surprised by the actions of the surrounding.

"I don't know how to dance guess I'll just watch and......I also can't dance with all those eyes staring at me I'll freak out because they are more of strangers to me and have never met them before so I'll be scared" Tatiana looked down after she realized she had talked a lot and Ash was just staring at her.

" I'm sorry I said so much" Ash now at least smiled

" yeah you did but I get it that you're scared that maybe some

one will pull you to the dance floor...I promise no one

will" Ash held her hand to assure her that she knew that the girl was afraid of maybe being forced to dance and she wasn't going to let that happen.

Drinks were passed but this time she didn't hesitate

"I thought you wouldn't take it," Ashley said smiling

"I wanna get drunk.......you know I drink when am around

people I trust so if I get drunk they'll take care of me.......So I'm sure you will" she said with a broad smile and then winked.

the wait was this girl planning on getting drunk like so much drunk that she's saying I'll take care of her? oh God, I just hope she

won't make it hard for me, by the time people were done dancing she had drunk more than two glasses of beer and now acting like she has always been with the people and she knew them, she had been cheering like it was her friends dancing.

She then turned to Ashley

" you know what I might not know how to dance but I know how to twerk so if you wanna see me dancing just say the music to be changed like either Megatron of Nicki Minaj or any other twerk vibe I'm good at it," she said smiling at Ash.

"Do it I want to dance no I want bounce by Ruger it's a good African hit please" Ash didn't say anything she just went ahead and told the DJs to change the song good thing everyone there knew the song because it was trending on TikTok.

Ash didn't know this girl was so courageous when she was drunk. when she heard the song she joined the others dancing and there she was. God this girl could twerk like twerk anyway what would you expect from a Jamaican girl they are the

best ones and they do the most when it comes to moving their asses. People now had even stopped dancing to watch her. The DJ now played Megatron by Nicki Minaj as he was instructed. This was the best part people were now filming her taking videos of her twerking, she hyped everyone there and they all got to the dance floor. she even pulled Ashley to the dance floor.

" hey I don't dance like this" Tatiana just smiled

"Do what men are doing then " she whispered in Ashley's ears.

Ashley didn't want to but she did it, who could resist this girl's body? She was now wining for her and Ash was behind her playing the man. The party went on people having fun till it was almost morning. They were now playing truth or dare. One of the girls dared Tatiana to kiss Ashley and to Ashley's awe,

she did it and then smiled. People clapped but Ashley knew that she did it because she was drunk.

The kiss though, left Ashley wanting more from her. It was

almost six in the morning and people were all sleeping in the sitting room. Where you were seated is where you slept.
