Chapter 5 Mate

"KEVIN'S POV"

As our hands crossed, I feel the electric spark. I think she feels it too because she broke it off immediately.

"Mate????" I thought to myself, how come I was not able to smell her from afar?

But she is human. I'm still not sure she is my mate but what the hell is the spark about?

She move away after I had frozen and Harry apologized to her...

Immediately she moves in the direction of the wind. I smell strawberries all over the airport...

My wolf almost took over that I almost dragged her back in a way that will hurt her because I can't control the wolf inside of me. Harry noticed and he rush to me to take me out of the airport...

Immediately we got out of the airport, a limousine parked in front of us and it is one of Derek's guards because he showed us the logo and we entered......

I kept mute because a lot is going on in my head that I can't comprehend.

"She is my mate" I whispered not wanting Harry to hear me but I know he knows how I feel right now.......

I feel like I'm paralyzed right now.........

First, she is my mate and she is human. She is like a weakness to my park, my father won't agree to this.

She will bring nothing but problems to me and my Park.

How do I explain to her that, there is a creature called a werewolf and they go crazy when it is a full moon and they don't hurt innocent people but some exist that kill innocent people.

And I expect her to believe me?

I'm fucked up. Even if I want to explain to her and tell her she will be stuck with me forever because of the stupid bond we kind of share, I let her go instead of holding her back..........

I should find something to do about it. I can't be with her because she is human, will I just reject her?

Even if I want to reject her, I will need to meet her.

She is human, she won't get hurt too much but I can't decide on my own.

We have to decide together and she will need to come with me.

I scratched my head out of frustration because I can't control my emotions right now. Have been looking for my mate and now that I find her I have a problem because she is human.

I thought coming to Russia was a good idea but now it seems like a very bad one.

If I had stayed with Naomi and just endure and try to fall in love with her, it would have been better and made my Father even much happier.

Moments later, we got to the packhouse, this is the first time in three years that I'm coming here and it has changed a lot.

Derek's packhouse has gotten even bigger, he said he'd expand the house when he became the Alpha.....

This is good for a start.

The limousine stopped and seconds after they opened the door for me to get out.

Harry gets out before me and looks at me worriedly.

I get out of the car too and I saw Alpha Derek and his mate waiting for me.

Harry bowed to the both of them and they smile, no doubt they are happy to see us.

Derek is like a brother to me, because despite the distance we don't keep shit from each other.

He hugged me tightly that I almost got choked.

I smacked his back for him to break away.

"Idiot, you are the Alpha of this pack, I'm pretty sure you don't want your pack member to see you like this," I said

He broke away from the hug and grinned

"Is it an offense to hug an old friend who has refused to come and congratulate me?" he said and I felt attacked

"And I'm sure they don't want to see their Alpha behaving like a baby "

"Who dares to think of me in that manners? They know their Alpha and I'm sure they don't want to cross my red light," he said in a very tough way that who doesn't know him will flinch.

I forgot to add that he is not the type who forgives easily and he is very good and doesn't hesitate to punish who needs to get punished. His pack member must respect and fear him..........

After a short conversation, we entered the Packhouse and I like what I'm seeing right now.

He called the guards to show us our rooms and he dismissed everyone else except me...... He looked really serious when he held me back from following the guards.....

"Kelvin, what's wrong with you, I can sense that you are not fine with the rate your heart is beating," Derek said in a very significant way that I never imagined on my first day of stay.

"Nothing," I lied and I know he does not believe me, I must not look too worried as an Alpha of a pack. Worrying is like a weakness... I don't want him to think I'm weak, I don't know how he will react even if I tell him

"Can you hear me? " He snaps me out of my thoughts.

"I seriously wanted to believe you were fine but with this? Not at all. Talk to me, what is bothering you? " He asked again and I can't lie to him again.

"I found my mate at the airport..."I told him and he laughed out loud.

I wasn't expecting that from him but I guess I just fucked up. I glared at him and he waved trying to hold back his laughter..

"I'm sorry I laughed but shit is funny, the Almighty Kelvin is worried after finding his mate? No this is not like you".......

"Would you listen to me?"

"Okay, I'm listening "

"She is human"

His jaw dropped after hearing that.

"What? Human? I don't think it is possible"

"Do you know the girl?" He asked me and I shook my head with regret..

I" think you should have her here with you whatever you want to do to her, is there a way to track her down?"

"I shook my head again because I expected him to ask if I will accept her or reject her."

"Won't you ask me what I want to do?" I asked curiously

"Come on, I already know you want to reject her."

He said but he is not happy about it with the way he sounded, but what else will I do if I don't reject her..........

"I'm not being selfish but how should I explain to her that a world of werewolves co-exists and I'm one of them. Even if she knows anything about werewolves is that we are animals that eat humans and even kill each other..... I said out of frustration and he just nodded, thinking about what I had said....

We still need to find her"

He said and I agreed to it....

We will do that tomorrow......
