Chapter 2 My Baby Is Coming

Sia's POV.

"You know they say time flies but it's

so slow when you are not with the one that

you love the most"

"life tends to get harder and even more

unbearable when you get dumped and

Rejected by someone you claim to love so

much"

" I am Sia and I was actually the girl that got dumped by the rich CEO Jo. The same

man that claimed he wouldn't leave me or

let me go no matter what happens"

I trusted him,I believed in him and

therefore decided to always walk with him.

I was sure like a hundred percent sure that he was going to be suCcessful and was going to be the talk of the town.

But I guess silly things were bound to

happen in an individual's relationship once

in a while right? Or should I just say forever??

I am Sia and this is the story of my life

after Joseph had abandoned me in a bad

state.

"Aaaahhhhh!! Fuck!" I bellowed in my workplace as I fell to the ground with my heels which were so high that at first, it made me scared.

I wished for about an hour of my life that I had never worn those heels to work.

I was working at a grocery store now and the pay I received was barely enough to pay my rent at home.

I couldn't survive as usual with such

amount as the payment for my labour

and the worst part was that...( Inhales).

"She is going to have a baby!l" Mrs.

Rita screamed out as she came closer to

me on the ground.

"Keep your voice down Rita! You are

going to draw attention to me!l" I panted as

I told her to be calm.

"Well what do I do? I can't even carry you up and take you to a hospital Sia. I

wouldn't be happy if you get to die here you know!" She explained still panicking.

" I will. ....I will be fine RIta, just help me up to my feet and please, take the heels off my feet!" I begged with a worried gaze at her.

"Okay then, let's start with the heels" She went closer to my legs and was about

taking my heels off.

"Easy Rital!"I yelled out.

The pains I felt around my waist weren't so comfortable at all. I felt more like I could lose myself in this situation.

"Is this what pregnancy feels like??" I

asked as I kept on panting.

I was actually trying to maintain my voice and as well catch my breath.

"You don't ask me about that , Sia... You should be asking someone out there." Rita responded with a loud voice.

She was still trying to find out a way to

get the heels off my feet without making me attack her violently.

"But you are Married Rita" I stated

"Yeah... yeah I know dummy but I hope you know that I am not pregnant and I don't have a child silly!" she defended herself.

After a few minutes, the other staffs

began to walk into the grocery store. They

left with the Manager for a while to go take

a short break at his treat .

They did that almost every time and I

heard they enjoyed themselves when doing so with the Manager.

I know you all must be wondering why I

don't follow or go with them right?

Well here is the thing, my manager is Mr. Harry and he is so cute, trust me.

He is the dream of all girls in town and he never listens to anyone for corrections.

He is a nasty and rude manager who

cares about himself and no one else. I

know he meant no harm taking his workers

out on a treat but taking your staffs out

on a meal shouldn't warrant you to make

silly moves on a pregnant lady.

It happened a month back. We came

back from the restaurant after having a fun

time with each other during our leisure

hours.

It was the Manager's treat as usual and

I loved going for it knowing how fun it

would always be for me.

I got to eat stuff that my earnings won't let me take or buy.

We came back after a long leisure hour with the manager and then, he called me into his office.

"Why does he want to see me?" I asked

Rita who had came to rely the message to

me.

I felt it was the usual happenings. I felt

he was just going to congratulate me or

thank me for my hard work but I guess I

was wrong.

I got into the office and looking around

his office, I could feel chills coming up from

my body.

Something was weird and that was the

fact that he had kept looking at me with a manipulating gaze.

"Hey Sia" He chuckled as he watched

me stand in front of him with my pregnancy

"Hello sir" I greeted with a smile on my

face thinking that he was himself.

"I love your smile Sia" He commended and that was when I became even tensed .

My boss or manager has never ever

commended anyone based on their looks or attitudes before so it made me worry.

"Thank.. thank you sir"I stuttered as I

stared at him.

"What Sia??" he questioned with a gaze

at me.

"Nothing sir it's just that... you've never

acted this way before so I was just

wondering why" I responded with an

unbelievable smile on my face.

"Come on Sia, you don't believe in love at first sight?" he asked.

" I do sir but not with a pregnant lady" I

stated clearly.

After Joseph had left me all alone with a pregnancy which he knew nothing about, I made sure I blocked other guys from

making their way into my heart and my

manager wasn't going to be an exception.

"Come on, Sia.. I actually think I have

Something in my heart for you" He stood up from his seat as he explained to me.

"I have always wished to make you

mine from the very first day I met you. The

Moment I saw you walk into my office I just knew that there was a connection between us that needed to last for so long" He tried persuading me with his words.

"Connection?" I snorted as I averted my

gaze from him and placed it back after a second.

" I don't believe in love anymore Sir" I

asserted as I changed my look to a furious

one

I was only trying to make him let me out

of his office but I guess that had made him

even more interested in me.

He was a player and I just couldn't let him do away with my heart, not after what Jo had done to me.

I was about walking out of the office but

then, he held my hand and dragged me

back to himself.

He gave me a warm embrace and

wouldn't let me out of his grip.

"Please stop" I pushed him out of my

body.

"Please Sia.. I really love you" He lied

again.

After so many rude words that had

came out of my mouth, he finally allowed

me to leave his office.

I walked out without even looking back at him.I couldn't stay that day so I packed

my stuffs and dashed out of the store

immediately.

I was thinking he was going to fire me

after such acts but when I went back to the

store the next day, I realised that he was

now his normal self.

He barely turned to look at me or say a word to me. Most people asked why I had stopped going out with the manager and other staff.

I couldn't tell them the real truth so I just

had to lie to them about everything.

If they had heard the Truth, they would

probably blame me for pushing myself at

him which i never did.

They will make silly assumptions and

crown it as their conclusion which I disliked

so much.

"Guys help me here! Sia is about to give birth to her baby!" Rita called on them and immediately, they all ran to my rescue...

"Hey Sia, are you okay??!" One of

a colleague asked with a worried look on his face.

"Come on John!! If I was okay, would I be on the floor?? Please guys help me!" I

slammed my hand on my forehead as the

pains were getting worse.

I was still thinking I would die so soon

with the baby in my belly when suddenly, I

heard the manager order others out of his

way.

"We need to get her to the hospital so

get out of my way" He ordered.

I had actually thought he wouldn't dare to come close to me because I saw him

walking away when Rita had announced

that I was in Labour.

He came closer to where I was and lifted me up in his manly body..

He rushed me to the hospital and then

let the doctor's take care of me.

"Push!" they ordered.

"Aaaahhhh!" I yelled out as different thoughts and memories with Joseph came flashing through my head.
