Chapter 2 Thinking of the Deal

Driving back home to the mansion where I live with my parents I decided not to contemplate on the talk father will have with me tonight

After been exhausted from all the meetings I had attended today, I needed nothing but a good sleep

This is me wishing he just sees the tiredness in me and let whatever he wants to talk about be later on

The mansion is glowing in blue floral light that surrounds the whole place as I drove inside. Even as an adult I still get this wild eradicate feeling whenever I drive into it

I grew up here which is why it has always been too much for me to leave. Not that I have option of leaving anyways so instead I see myself been here more and more

At the door I was welcomed by one of the servants who took my bag and suitcase taking it to my room

''Where is my mother?" I ask one of the servant Eve as I remember her or is it not?

''currently out with your father'' she said and turn back walking away

I walked straight to my room where I slumped on the bed, my whole body so exhausted and aching. I fucking need a message.

Sprawling on the bed I relax myself on the bed with my eyes closed. I need to find a way to get this deal as soon as possible. I don't want it to be more than a week before I finally get this deal done with. The Adams project is one that I need to use and prove to all those people that I am more than capable of doing a good work

Standing up from the bed I went to the bathroom to do some cleaning off, at least now I know I need to work completely hard for the rest of this night. I thought I could get some sleep but as always I cannot even start thinking of that when I need to sign the contract

Coming out from the bathroom my mother is already there, she is sitting on my bed crossed leg and smiling once she spotted me out of the bathroom

''My angel'' she gave me a pleasant smile which I returned instantly as I dry off my body selecting through filled catalogue of night wears to wear

After am done with wearing them I came back to where she is seated and gave her a side hug

''I heard you went out how was it?" I nudge her making her blush deeply

Ever since father had to resign and make me takeover, he now has more time for things like a date with mother. The two of them have always made perfect sense right from the first moment, the kind of couple everyone wants to grow up and have but definitely not me

I like guys, I like everything about them especially when it comes to sexual orientation but I can't see myself sticking to one person all in the name of marriage

That seem grossed out enough and then the fact you have to live with them for a long time? Nah let me keep up with my 2 weeks dating standard as I need nothing like that in my life

''As usual he was the best date anyone can ask for'' she confirmed to me making me nod my head several times without saying a word

''Well then welcome back, as of this girl she has to work right now'' I tell her

''Oh honey you are always working'' she stands from the bed going to the only one table in my huge room. I never noticed anything been placed on it but when she comes back it is with plates of snacks as they are filled to the brim of the plates

''I know you wouldn't want to have real food but this should be enough right'' I smiled and collected it from her placing it on the bed

''Thank you mother, I will sure have to use it very well'' she gave me a tentative smile before waving and walking out of the room

Not wanting my father to step inside I stroll to the door and locked it. I need to brain storm on how I should get that company

If am doing a marathon night of brainstorming and looking over documents it only means one thing

Picking up my phone I dialed Devan's number. He picked after three calls

''Hello? Jiselle?'' he said with a sleepy voice

''don't tell me you are sleeping already? We have some work to do so get yourself refreshed'' I ended the call immediately

Going through the files I allow myself munch on some snacks. I look over our competitors for the restaurant and wasn't pleased with what I saw

Devan has acquired their opening slot and now am rereading finding a way that they think and trying to impact the same into my next plan

A call came through from Devan who informed me he was ready for the meeting

We talked about how to outshine our competitors and get exactly this same project that we need.

I only need to make sure one single company doesn't get it, our very main competitors in this business, I just need to make sure they don't get it and that it belong to us somehow so I work on that

Kyran Empire our major competitors in this business, ran by Jaxxon Kyran one of the brothers as the major CEO

I have never met him before but I know he can be as ruthless as his father or so I heard

Kyran Jaxxon can be whatever they term him to be I don't care, all I know is that am getting this contract and nothing is going to stop it, not even them

A meeting was later set up with Mr. Daniel representatives tomorrow and I know that was the only way for me that this could through, I need to convince them

So even as Devan finishes off and goes before me, I try on my own to find out all the ways I could approach this tomorrow and then land myself some gig

I cannot let our major competitors win this, that is totally not allowed and I will do everything within me to see to that,
