Chapter 10 S Game

After the two of us had a talk to clear out the hidden eyes in each other's hearts. Then I went back to my room and got a good night's sleep, and mentally prepared for tomorrow. One fateful day of my life.

Usually I take a nap in the afternoon and wake up very late. I don't know why I woke up at six o'clock in the morning, my mind is very nervous, I don't know what kind of people who come.

I took the time to shower and eat breakfast first to wait for them to come. While waiting for them, I went to the living room and turned on the TV and watched.

"Welcome to the program introducing the title Game S aka S Game"

What is the name of the game that sounds so boring. Recently the publisher can't think of anything new?

"It's a realistic badge-tracing game, with a lot of teenagers and old people coming out in three days."

Wait... there seems to be something here. Is this the game I'm going to join? I have to keep listening to find more information about it.

"People can watch players live through TV, phone or other technology devices. In particular, there is a small mini-game for live viewers to participate in. If you want to know then visit our website!"

No more arguing. That's it, that's it. This is the website address that my father showed me earlier.

And its mini game is a game of betting on people's lives with money. That's why it requires access to the site.

They invested a lot when they dared to do advertising about this game. People watching in Japan right now probably just see it as a normal entertainment game. Even if someone died, they would think it was fake for fun.

But surely there are still a few who know this is really a game that participants must use their lives to play.

I was watching the intro when the doorbell rang, and I quickly ran out. I didn't think much of it, but opened the door to see who it was, a neatly dressed young man greeted me with his hand.

"Hi! I am the instructor of S Game. May I ask if your father is at home?"

I froze in surprise. I didn't expect them to come so early, it must have been seven o'clock by now. With him... well, no instructor in my eyes, and the guys who made this game I thought must be scary and rude. Who would have thought that he would look so gentle and polite.

"There's no need for him! I am a participant."

I answered fluently in a low voice that surprised him a bit. I invited him into the house to talk further.

"Do you drink tea or coffee?"

"Give me some coffee"

While I was making coffee, he introduced himself more clearly.

"Sorry for the lack of introduction! My name is Haeda, an employee and instructor of the new game."

I also gladly replied to his words.

"I am Ahito. Sixteen years old, still a student. So... what will I have to do to enter the game?"

I brought the coffee to the table and sat across from him to listen to his explanation of the game.

"Do you understand what you are getting into?"

He seemed to remind me to withdraw from the game, probably thinking I was too young to understand. And of course I know what I'm getting myself into.

"Are you treating me like a child? Of course I know."

He took out a piece of paper from his bag, placed it on the table, and turned it over for me to see. At first glance it looks like a contract but when you pick it up and read it... it's a real contract.

In it, there is a 1 billion yen bonus after winning the game. I finished reading and gasped, with such a large amount of money I can do anything I like if I win.

"So what about the game? You just gave the contract. The game hasn't been explained yet."

"Don't be hot, calm down! We will explain later when we get there."

He asked permission to photograph the contract with my signature, and took my picture. I can guess what the point of this is. He wanted to get my photo to update on the information section of the web...

And I myself know this contract is for law. Whether you sign it or not, others will be forced to participate. This is probably just a cover-up.

"Then... when will I join?"

He put the contract in his bag and said with a smile.

"Now is always fine. We have prepared accommodation to welcome the players."

If that's the case, then they really are thoughtful. It didn't feel like welcoming into a killing game... and although I said it didn't, I myself had never participated in such a game before.

Fortunately, before Haeda arrived, Yumi arrived at the school while I was busy watching the game's introduction. If not, waste time explaining it to her.

"I want to go now! Let me get ready."

"Do not need! We will prepare everything for you."

Our brief talk ended. He left the house and sat in the car waiting. As for me, I said goodbye to mom and dad for the last time... no... I'll definitely be back, and it won't be the last time.

Before leaving the house, I thought he came alone. But after leaving, there were two other large people in black suits waiting, I walked up to them and opened the door for me to sit down. This is a Limousine car, this type of car is the type that divides the driver's compartment and the passenger's compartment, which is a very long car. Usually in movies, rich ladies often use this car.

"Hey, do you have some?"

Even though I've seen it, it's still strange to see. This is probably my first time sitting.

Haeda he offered me a glass of wine. But I still don't dare to drink, I myself don't know where the headquarters of this game is, and how long it will take to get there, so I have to stay focused.

"I'm not old enough for that yet."

The inside of this car has almost everything in the other room. Televisions, long sofas, and a small bar displaying a variety of wines.

"How long will it take for us to get there?"

He still cradled the wine glass to drink and then gently answered me.

"You don't have to rush! Will be quick."

I'm very nervous about what lies ahead for me. Surely other players, some will have a stable mentality. That will be part of how they can quickly win this game.

"There it is."

I was forever lost in thoughts about the S Game when Haeda called out to me.

"Has it come yet?"

He opened the door and I followed him out and was led to a hotel. They didn't take me to the headquarters but to the hotel, no wonder I saw it so quickly.

As far as I know, from my father's stories, each player will be transported to a land separate from the human world. Then wage the war. If that's the case, then I think the Hotel is not a place where they can gather many people.

"Come in! We've already booked a room for you."

When I entered the hotel, a staff member waiting there gave me a room card.

"Hey, what about you?"

"I will be back in the evening. Rest assured, and remember to stay in the hotel."

After saying that, Haeda got into the car and ran away. I don't know where to go, but now I have to go up to see my room.
