Chapter 4 The movie Star a New Job

He stood about six feet 2 inches tall and it looked as if his chiseled body was molded by the gods themselves. Hair curly, Havana brown, shaved at the sides and looked so good on his olive toned skin. And then, there was an irresistible nose ring that he had.

His character in the movie didn't require him removing anything. He was perfect.

He was wearing a black singlet and his half sleeve bicep tattoo was very obvious. It was sexy, mysterious and accentuated how toned his muscles were.

She had known him before now but doubted he would ever recognize her. They did attend the same high school and she was actually one of the numerous girls crushing on him.

He did talk to her a few times though but he never really paid much attention to her before he ended up transferring as he had to travel and school in a different state.

Years later after he returned, he was already a big movie star. And she could only see him in TV.

Now he was standing few inches away from her.She thought she saw his eyes meet hers. Or was she imagining things?

Khloe tried her best to focus on her job though.

The female lead was Tiffany Banks. She was quite snobby and full of herself alright. But she and Hardin made the perfect couple as lead characters. It was going to be one hell of a show.

The actual filmmaking had begun after the conclusion of pre production.

Hardin began shooting around 7:00 am. He was taken care of beginning with the moment he checked in. Jack, a caterer who could whip up anything for breakfast, was serving breakfast at crew parking. For him, he paired scrambled eggs with ground turkey.

The majority of the actors had arrived, and they were all chatting and hanging around while eating breakfast.

Tiffany was seated next to him and eating sweet tortilla chips with strawberry salsa. Boy, was she sexy!

She remarked, wiping the corners of her lips with a handkerchief, "You're so talented, Hardin. Actually, I'm happy I was paired with you."

Same here," he said, gently scratching the bridge of his nose, adding, "This movie has tons of heartfelt and passionate kissing scenes and so much more. You think you can manage me?"

She smirked. "Of course. Haven't you heard about how good of a kisser I am?"

On that specific day, a million-dollar mansion in the Hollywood Hills served as the set.

They had shot the day before in the same house so all of the equipments remained.

He was taken to the makeup and hairstylists where they pampered him and made him look his best. Among all of them, there was a particular girl that kept on drawing his attention since the first day he had set his eyes on her.

He had noticed she was not so well put together as the others and a little uneasy. Perhaps it was her first time working on such a big movie.

He had seen artists with full glamour on makeup, or with just minimal makeup. But she was always makeup free!

And how she still managed to be the prettiest amongst all of them, he really could not understand. Her glossy hair was tied in a low sleek ponytail. He wondered how it would feel, running his hands through them.

That day she was sporting a loose blue T-shirt over baggy trousers and trainers. Of course, they were meant to dress on neutral colored clothes. Tight? Of course not. They could, however, dress in fitted clothing.

He had never seen her with one though. They were always loose or pretty much over sized so he had not really grasped what her body shape looked like yet.

He was sent off to the wardrobe for his dress up and later escorted by the production assistant to set.

The first shot was in the upscale looking kitchen.

The director started going over the scripts. He was such a nice guy and pulled practical jokes most of the times causing them to laugh their butts off.

It was a always a mix of preparation and relaxation. A light hearted environment most of the times and there was sure to be a lot of laughter.

At work, it was an 100% on-task. No phonecalls or texting or social media. Khloe just had her phone turned off throughout and would only turn it back on when the day's job was over.

She tried her possible best to adhere to all the new rules and was there very early, even before the key make-up artist.

Her eyes were on Hardin's most of the times and he fit into his role so effortlessly. He was so good that it was really sexy!

When they took a break during mid day, she suddenly saw him walking towards her direction. He held a jacket in his hands.

Wait, was he coming to her? That was impossible, wasn't it?

He indeed was coming to her and she only figured it out when he stood about an inch away. He leaned in and wrapped the jacket around her waist and she was shocked. She let out a breath she did not realize she had been holding in.

She was really short in contrast to him so he bent his head to whisper into her ears. Khloe's breathing must have ceased.

"It seems like Miss Red came without a warning," he said.

Her cheeks flushed as realization hit her. Dammit! Her period must have raised its ugly head. How did she not know?

Well she never kept track of it on the calendar or anything but her warning signs were extreme cramps days before the actual flow. She would get terrible mood swings and might be unnecessarily bloated.

But how come none of these signs showed up that month to warn her! She was really embarrassed but managed to mouth a 'thank you' to him.

He gave a very stiff nod and slid his hands into his pocket, strutting away.

She looked down at the jacket, observing that it actually belonged to him because he had been wearing it that morning when he arrived. Wow. The actual jacket of Hardin Hall was in her possession.

Some people around had noticed what Hardin did and were giving her weird looks. She decided not to pay so much attention even though she was already self conscious.

She was lucky enough to get help from one of her co workers who was quite friendly. She happened to always carry tampons or pads in her hand bag.

At exactly 6pm, it was a wrap for the day and everyone had changed back into their normal clothes. She looked around for Hardin and so him talking to Tiffany. And she was laughing like a hyena. What was so funny anyways?

Not wanting to disturb them, she turned away but Hardin already caught sight of her. He excused himself and went after her.

"You were standing there a second ago, why did you leave?" He asked, expressionless.

"Um.." She scratched her head. "I wanted to ask if I could take your jacket home so I could get it dry cleaned and return it tomorrow."

"No problem, Khloe." He responded.

She looked at him with surprised eyes."How did you know my name?"

"I have my ways. Nice to meet you too. I'm Hardin" he extended his hand to her.

Did he remember her from high school? No way. Besides, she had changed so much since then and they weren't particularly close.

Dumbfounded, she shook his hand.

"Would have said we should hang out a bit but I know you need to go home rest up and get cleaned.So, see you on set tomorrow"
