Chapter 1 He Wants Me

Eva's Pov

My mother abandoned me when I was young; she went with another man while my grandma adopted me; I am now eighteen. Life has been so unfair to me when my grandma died and she left nothing to me. My aunt Amelia sent me back to other relatives so that I could attend college, but it's okay. I'm used to it.

Then, my uncle Tobias, my mother's brother, took me to his home because he stated he was seeking a housekeeper and would pay me a monthly salary to assist with my studies.

Initially, his behavior was decent, but he changed when he shut me in my room, and I feel so anxious, even though my anxiety is growing at that time. I break the little window to escape and even my feet got wounded when I tried to escape barefoot. The place where my uncle lived was far from the neighbors so I need to run for a kilometer to look for help but my uncle Tobias chase me and grabbed my legs so that I cannot ask for help.

He tore my dress, and I screamed for help. I even kicked his legs just to get away from him.

Then when I was already in the street, my aunt arrived.

"Eva?! what happen to you'!"

"Auntie, help me! Uncle tried to rape me!" I stated while holding her, to which she pushed me away and responded, "Are you sure?! Get away from here! Your uncle cannot abuse you like that!"

Then, uncle Tobias sneered at me, which sickened me, and even my aunt didn't believe me, so she kicked me out of their house and said, "You're not welcome here. from now on, you must live independently! You will no longer receive help since you are a liar, whore!"

I cannot do anything if my aunt does not believe me, so I bring my backpack across the street. It is night and raining outside. I began sobbing, feeling like everyone was abandoning me.

My heart feels so heavy, and now my throat is even dry from constant crying. When I returned to my grandmother's place, I observed someone waiting for me on the balcony.

"Mom?"

She extended her arms wide while waiting for me, and I felt as though God had sent someone to alleviate my suffering. My mother was also crying as she embraced me while I ran towards her and embraced her.

"Mom, you're back!"

"Yes, and I'm come to take you with me!" she exclaimed joyfully. As she led me inside, I noticed an elderly gentleman with a beard and black eyeglasses. He was wearing a black suit and greeted me with a friendly smile.

"Mom, who is that gentleman?"

My mother took my hand and said, "He is my husband."

I don't know why my mother returned to my life after so many years, but I'm glad I can now feel like I have a mother at my side.

She did not even mention that the man she married was a wealthy businessman who owned numerous clubs.

My mother took me to the mansion and introduced me to its people.

One day,

I heard that my mother and her husband were bickering about something. I became fascinated and listened to their arguments. I placed my ear to the door while my pulse quickened. I was horrified by the screaming and fighting within the house.

"She's my daughter, Armando!"

"Yes, she is your daughter, but if you don't want me to find another young and attractive woman, you must give me your daughter so I will never leave you!" Armando said, and as soon as I heard that. My jaw fell because I was traumatized by the past, and now it's happening again. I returned to my room, grabbed my luggage, and placed my identification cards and birth certificates inside.

I must leave before my mother's spouse commits horrible acts against me.

Where are you going?" I stopped on the steps after hearing Armando's comments echo throughout the house. My mother wept and shook her head as she yelled, "Armando, you cannot do this to my daughter!"

"Do you want me to abandon you and return you to that filthy club where you formerly worked?" While threatening my mum, he stated.

I bit my lower lip in an attempt to contain my emotions as I observed my mother trying to block her husband.

I bit my lower lip and walked as swiftly as possible, but he was chasing me. My heart was racing in pain, and when I opened the door, my body collided with the hard chest of a tall, gorgeous man.

"Mister Anderson?!" Armando said and sigh, he fix his hair and the man just stare at me, he have few body guards outside and Armando said, "Please don't let her run away! I still need this slut!"

The man glance at me, as soon as his eyes landed on mine, I looked away while my body is shaking in fear.

"Go back to your room, Arcilla!" Armando said in authorative voice and my mom can't help but to obey her husband while I'm still standing at the door.

"How can we assist you, Mr. Anderson?"

"You haven't mentioned that you have a daughter," he stated as he looked at me.

"She is actually my wife's daughter." Armando stated and proceeded to bring me inside, but the man addressed as Mr. Anderson paused momentarily and interrupted him from dragging me, "I want her..."
