CHAPTER THREE.

Marvel falls slowly on the couch and stretches her hand to reach for her phone. She unlocks it and plays a game in order to get rid of boredom.

"Everywhere is damn boring!" She exclaims painfully.

She dials Angel's number; her neighbor and friend but she wasn't picking her calls. Her parents were out of town and will not be back till night. She wasn't a lover of movies. She wished someone could come looking for her but she had barely stayed two weeks in this new environment of hers. Plus, she hasn't established friendship with anyone except Jake, Eric and Alessia. She wish Jake could come around.

She heard the bell rang. There is probably someone at the door.

"Who could that be? I ain't expecting anyone." She stands up and headed towards the door, squeaking it open. She's happy and surprised to see Jake.

"Hey Jake. Common, come in". Jake enters and Marvel Greene bolts the door behind him and offers him a seat and he sits down, looking around in admiration.

"What a pleasant surprise!." She remarked "You never told me you'll be coming over."

"Yeah, I never did. I just decided to make it a surprise. Perhaps, due to the fact that I was bored at home was what actually instigated my coming."

"Whatever instigated your coming, I don't mind. I'm glad you came. Give me a minute please". Marvel Greene stood up and headed towards the kitchen, she arrives shortly with two chilled drink.

"Thank you Greene." Jake mutters and helped himself with the drink. "Your parents?"

"Oh, they're out of town. Night must have fallen before their arrival. I'm the only one at home" Marvel answers cheerfully and winks at Jake.

"So you've been the only person at home. You must be bored then." He figures out and his guess was right.

"Yeah. That's why I'm extremely delighted to see you." Jake knew he had to take up the responsibility of making everywhere lively for them. Should he suggest they play some video games? No! That game wouldn't be ideal with a female gender .He was thinking of what to come up with when Marvel broke the silence.

"Do you have anything in mind that we can do, probably a game or if you have a gist?" He had none. He's not good at gisting; It's a girl's thing, he thought.

"Let me come up with something." He said but he wasn't sure of what they could engage in. Marvel Greene decides to help him out, believing Jake's short of ideas.

"Do you mind if we go with 'Truth or Dare' game?" she asks and winked at Jake. Why would he mind? He's glad she brought up the idea and he's going to make a good use of it. Truth or Dare is a game played by Teens/Young adults. In the course of the game, Obscenity often takes place and he wouldn't mind.

"I don't mind and I'm in if that's okay by you." He said, trying to be on a safer side in case the 'Unexpected' happens. Marvel stood up and sits closer to Jake. Her clothes were revealing. Jake could notice her firm breast staring at him. He couldn't take off the gaze easily

"Truth or Dare?" She asks. It dawned on Jake that the game has commenced. He looks straight into Marvel's eyes and mutters 'dare'.

"I dare you to engage me in Cataglottism."

Jake could not believe his ears, but he heard her well. He hesitates for a while before grabbing her cheek and slowly engaging her romantically in a French kiss using his tongue. Two minutes later, the atmosphere changed and becomes tensed. Jake and Marvel becomes so engrossed in the act and were moving down slowly. He moves his hand to her breast and could feel it's firmness. He begins to unbutton Marvel's shirt and she stops him, they both disengages from the act. Marvel couldn't let him think so low of her and classify her as a bitch afterwards. Sex seems quite early at the moment. She wasn't going to give in so easily.

"I'm sorry I almost exceeded my limits." Jake apologizes. Marvel didn't pick offense. She started it at first, so Jake didn't nothing wrong.

"Can we proceed with our game?"

"No qualms." She offers Jake a smile. He's glad Marvel didn't pick offense. He decides to be more careful this time.

"Truth or Dare?"

"Truth".

Jake thinks for a while, and finally asked her "Ever had sex?"

Marvel isn't a virgin. She had two failed relationship with a black American; Wright and a Norwegian; Olav. It was Olav that turned her to a sex addict. There's no point lying, Marvel thought. She knew she'll still let Jake have a taste of her and he'll surely find out later.

"A Norwegian?" Jake asks and she nods in affirmation. It's Marvel's turn to ask Jake.

"Truth or Dare?" She asks.

"Truth." He answers thinking of what Marvel could come up with.

"Do you have a girlfriend?"

"No. I don't" Jake answers and Marvel stares in disbelief

"You're lying to me right?" She questions searching for truth in Jake's eyes

"Of course not. I'm being truthful." Jake asserts truthfully. Marvel's still finding it difficult to believe him.

"But, our girls at school admire your looks and Physiques greatly. Are you tryna tell me that you've never had anything with any of them?"

"Yeah. They're just mere admirers. No strings attached." Jake couldn't understand why Marvel seems to harmer on that issue.

"Alright then." She stares at Jake lustfully and he got the message. "I'll go with Dare".

"I dare you to let's romance." Jake said inaudibly but Marvel heard that right. She stands up and sits on Jake's thigh. His heart was pounding fast and she could hear the beats.

"You're scared?" Marvel Greene asks smiling mischievously when she notices Jake's nervousness.

"I'm not." he says. The atmosphere becomes tensed up. Marvel adjusts herself and her firm boobs were pointing at Jake's face. He peered into it and he was getting aroused.

Marvel comes out tying a towel around her chest. She sits in front of Jake.

"Won't you go in and have a shower?" She says, showing Jake the way to the bathroom with her hands.

"I don't think so." Jake insists and Alessia approaches them.

"Hi Jake" she greets

"What's up Alessia?" He waves at her.

"I'm good" she replies Jake and goes to sit close to Eric. She throws her arm around Eric and Pecks him but Eric removes her hand to her utmost surprise. Alessia is too clingy for Eric's liking and Eric isn't comfortable with that.

"Can't you just stay a day without being clingy?" He questions and Alessia was hurt by his words. She becomes sad and leaves them sobbing.

"You shouldn't have done that Eric. That's quite harsh." Jake complains bitterly but Eric saw nothing wrong with what he did.

"So, what's your conclusion? You're still going for Marvel Greene?" He asks Jake.

"Definitely." He affirms.

"You're crazy Jake." Eric spits.

Later in the day, Jake visits Marvel. She is listening to music and is vibing to it that she didn't notice when Jake entered. He closed the door behind him and kisses Marvel on her forehead before she noticed his presence.

"Hi Jake," she adjusts and sits properly.

"Hi Marvel. You're so engrossed in the song you're listening to. How'd you find school today?"

"Uhm, quite fascinating. I'm surprised to see you."

Jake knows Marvel isn't expecting him. He had come to confess his feelings for her.

"Yeah, you're right. I know you ain't expecting me. Actually Marvel," he begins "I'm here to discuss something important with you. A very pressing issue." He pauses and Marvel listens attentively to what he has to say. It's kinda surprising that Jake's looking serious.

"I'm deeply in love with you. I'm finding it hard to concentrate in the things I do just because I've been keeping this to myself." He pours out and Marvel stares at him in disbelief.

"You're in love with me or my body? Did you come here to say this because we had sex two days ago?" She inquires, wondering how easy it takes Jake to develop a feeling for someone he met with some weeks ago.

"No Marvel. I'm damn serious and I mean it. I love you. I'm in love with you and I'm not saying this because of what happened the last time" Jake wishes Marvel could agree to date him without hesitation. She vacates her seat and sits close to Jake.

"I wouldn't want to hurt you Jake. I've been hurt and played in the past, I'm Philophobiatic at the moment. Let's just be friends with benefits please." She pleads.

That isn't sounding well with Jake. He loves her and will want to have her to himself but Marvel's viewing it from a different angle.

"Let me revive your love spirit Marvel Greene" he mutters and lies on the couch kissing Marvel and she reciprocates without refusal.
