Chapter 4 My First Day At School

Given the home I've always known and lived in all my life, I enter into my vehicle *and don't even think about that. My father wasn't the one who bought the vehicle for me. The car was bought with the money my mother left for me.*, and driven off to my new home for the next four years.

Alphandale is one the most best university in the city of Rainbow. It's one of the best and only few are lucky to attend the school. The school is meant only for the rich and middle classed students seldom attend the school. The students of Alphandale had just started accepting fresher's both on scholarship and non _ scholarship students and the old students were busy getting ready for another year in school while the fresher's are very excited and eager to join the university. Jessica Walker was among those who are very lucky to attend the school.

*When I reached the school gate the name ALPHANDALE was boldly written on it, I had to drive in and packed my vehicle in an empty space. As I step down from my vehicle I was welcomed by the Sweet air around me that smelt like honey mixed in sweet wine. The scenery was extremely relaxing with tall trees and plants dancing and blinding in with natures. I was fascinated with the things around me. I had to stay and enjoy the great scenery and for once in life I felt extremely happy cause at home I was like a caged bird who wasn't allowed to fly high and mingled with other of it's kind. I found out now that I am free at least in the next FOUR YEARS. leaving my bags in the car trunk I walk towards the tall building standing majestically in the middle of the school compound. I need to settle everything including my hostel number before going back for my bags. I walked immensely to the building. When I reached I saw Administrative Office boldly written in uppercase letters so finding it was not that bad for me. I had to knock and was welcomed by a lady in her late 40's who smile sweetly at me

"Good Morning "

"Good morning dear ' how may I help you " Am actually a freshman

and am here for the registration of my course " I said

"So what's the name ". "Jessica Walker " I said and she just write something on the paper and gave it to me as she direct me to my course advisor. Within one hour u was done and I was also assigned to my hostel number 305. So now am on the way with the card number with 305 boldly written on it. Looking around with my bags I saw a lot of students. Some are reading while some are talking and laughing. they just seems carefree leaving in their own fantasy world. Looking and searching for the hostel number was truly difficult for me and I sigh in relieve when I was standing at the door. I had to knock cause I found out that the door wasn't locked and a gentle voice welcomed me from inside

"Come in the door is not locked " The voice said

I opened the door and was speechless cause the room interior design was Wow, it's so beautiful that I was so lost starring at the room the name Alphandale the best University really suit this school. How can some one's hostel be as beautiful as this. even my room at home was not this beautiful. I was still lost starring but was brought out of thought by the gentle voice beside me " For How long can you stand at the door" The voice said

"Sorry I was lost ".

" Thanks heaven to have brought you back " She said smiling

"Am Kayla by name ' and you

" Jessica walker and I guess this is room 305 ?

"Yes ! are you my room mates ?

" Is like cause I was giving a card with this number ' So I guess am your room.........

"I was not done with my speech when I received a hug from her "Oh My gosh ........ Am so happy to have a room mates at last. I thought I won't have any that the school authority have forgotten about my room but was very happy to have met a roommate after a whole one month of staying and sleeping alone " She said with her face full of smiles and I was very happy to have met some one who truly accept me without accusing me of one thing or the other. "And am glad to have met you too " I said as we disengage from the hugs. "So Jessy ! Hope am allowed to call you that ? She asked

"Of course " I said smiling with her

"Jessy you have to get your stuffs arrange immediately I heard that we will be having conference by 12noon.

" Conference for what ?

"Conference for the fresher's . I heard it's to welcomed us into the Alphandale university and we can't afford to miss it "

"Okay " I said and hurriedly unpack my stuff with the help of Kayla and arranged everything in order. "I guess we will be having party tonight ' Can't wait for it " She said

It was already 11 : 45 when we were done arranging my things with her help. It wasn't difficult for me. When we were done we left for the conference hall.

It was 12 pm and all the students have settled every activities and carried out all the school necessities for the school resumption. They have been summoned to the great Alphandale hall. The hall is very big, big enough to contain all the students m, the staffs and even more . The former students of the school are easily making.........
