Chapter 3 3

I take my car and go back home. Arriving at the living room, my parents are all at home. If I even knew, I wasn't going to come here, they're going to start with their morality story there. I enter the living room, I do everything as if there is nobody in the living room, I just pass. While I wanted to start walking up the stairs, I hear my mother's voice...

"Hey .... young girl, are you going to tell me that we are invisible to you?

"I am in a hurry" I say without stopping

"Hurry you say? and you are unable to say hello to your parents?

" Mom let me "

"Tania your behaviors are really becoming unbearable" remarks my father

"Send me away then" I say ironically

I leave them there and go up the stairs. I arrive in my room and I change quickly, this imbecile of receptionist had scratched my back with her false nails there and my wig is not in good condition any more. I go out of the room by taking care to lock my door. I can't stay a second in this house, otherwise my parents will continue with their sermon and I don't need that. I'm going to my house, there I'll have peace. I get to the living room and my mother starts again.

"Where are you going again?" my mother asks me.

I don't answer, I just open the door and go out quickly.

"Is it not you we're talking to?

"Since you can't leave me in peace, I'll go home to rest," I say.

"Lord bring my daughter back on the right track".

That's when my brother appears in the living room, he is indifferent to my behavior in this house. I don't know what he has in mind.

"Mom leaves this girl, the consequences educate better than the advice" says Max

That's their business, I leave here to go to my house. On the way I put a song of Nikanor, it talks about love. Even though I'm a player, I like love songs. That's right, I play with the hearts of men, eh? I call my friends, those who understand me better.

"Hello Sarah, where are you?"

"I'm at work." Sarah tells me.

"I'm going to our house, can you come?

"Of course, sweetie, I'll call Louisa to meet us there.

"I'll call Farida"

"My love, I can feel that you are upset, is it the parents again?" Sarah asks me.

"No, she's an idiot... we'll talk about it later".

I hang up, this receptionist only has to wait for me. She will regret to have crossed me on her way.

I launch the number of Farida.

"Hello Farida, where are you?

"I am at my parents'.

"Can you come to my house?

"I think I'll come before but I'm really sorry, I just arrived at my parents' and I can't leave like this.

"See you later".

I hang up, with her it's always like that. That's why Sarah doesn't like her very much. She likes to act like a saint, but it doesn't concern me.

I wonder if I'm the one who brought Tania into the world. She is so different from all of us in this house. She is the opposite of her brother Max, although they were nourished by the same maternal milk. I don't know if I should cry or laugh because of this girl, but I won't be sad all my life. I needed to expose my new models. That's why I contacted Miss Lorena, she is a great model that people love. This morning we have to meet in the company. Great was my surprise to find Miss Lorena on the scene fighting with the receptionist. I quickly separated them and asked for an explanation of what was going on. But apparently none of them wanted to express themselves until Miss Lorena decided to leave in a huff. I begged her, doing everything I could but she completely refused. After she left, I turned to the receptionist.

"Follow me to my office right away.

"Okay, ma'am."

Once in my office, I asked her what had happened.

"Tell me what happened".

She tells everything and the guard also testifies what happened. Really she is not right, even if Miss Lorena is badly dressed, it does not concern her. And she turns my company into a place for fighting. Now here is Miss Lorena who refused to work with us.

"you know what, you did wrong. I used to tell you here every time to take care of what concerns you. Now you want to make me lose a contract. Learn to keep your mouth shut in the future. Anyway... I want to find your letter of resignation on my table here tomorrow morning" I say

"Please don't fire me, ma'am."

"You should have thought of that before, you know it's not the first time it happened".

"I'm not going to do it again"

"Too late, young lady"

She leaves and I continue my work. This girl doesn't know how to keep her mouth shut, that's the consequences. I will call Miss Lorena's number later to apologize and convince her to come back.

Here is where my mouth has brought me. It is this job that allows me to dress, eat and do everything. Now how am I going to find another job. That witch had slapped me twice, it really hurt me. I looked for her myself, her clothing doesn't concern me but as I like to say everything, this is where I am. I'm picking up my stuff and I'm leaving the company, tomorrow I'll come and hand in my letter of resignation. I had begged the director to forgive me but she refused. She is not wrong, it was not my first time. While waiting to find a job, I have to manage my savings well so as not to starve.
