Chapter 5 Save her

Wandering here and there, I was trying hard to get over that asshole dude who just cared about s-x. I was sure that he was that big bad Alpha who had slept with every girl in his pack.

A part of me wanted to show him what he could get and be wild with him. The dark desires in me wanted me to give in to them but I was protesting them.

I wanted him to believe in the mating bond and the fact that he could feel the love and satisfaction with me only.

I was his fuc-ing mate for fu-k's sake.

I wanted to scream out all the frustration that I was getting because of him, the thoughts about him being with other girls were driving me mad, and not in a good way.

Sitting on the ground, I looked at the sky and the bluish-orange hues seemed gloomy as if giving company to my pain. It was beautiful. Beautiful as a melancholic charm.

The clouds and the pretty colors of the sky reminded me more of him and I found myself taking heavy breaths as if I ran a marathon.

My mouth started getting dry, a slight pain started brewing around my clitoris, and I wanted nothing but him.

Still, in this situation, all I could think about was his luscious hair. To tangle my fingers deep into his curly locks while he would kiss me so passionately as if his life depended on it.

The crazy desires were making me feel so hot and I wanted to take a bath.

With him.

Which was certainly impossible.

Where was my dignity?

"Ah...Ugh..." I growled, touching my neck and lips shamelessly, thinking of him, as if it weren't my hands but his.

"Oh, Goddess." I couldn't handle this anymore. I had to return home.

Probably I was going crazy because my mate was sleeping with other girls. I'll have to ask Rachel to take me to her pack doctor.

Gathering all my courage, I tried standing up but I staggered as I took a few steps ahead. My feet tumbled over a little pebble and I was about to fall but two muscular hands grabbed me and I fell into his arms instead.

"Are you okay, beauty?" He said with anxious eyes and I shamelessly stared into his green eyes. My eyes fell on his lips and it was demanding everything in me to take my eyes off his lips.

His touch was soothing me somehow and at the same time, it was making me feel hotter than before.

But I knew that he wasn't the person I needed, I was looking for that particular person who could bring peace to my aching parts.

"Um, yes...I forgot the way back home. It's my first day in this pack and I'm staying at this pack's Beta's house. Can you guide me on the way there?" I managed to speak, maintaining a safe distance from him.

He smiled at me, shrugging. "Yeah, sure. Why not? In fact, I can give you company, my house is only ten minutes away from Beta's house," he gushed, offering help to me and I just nodded my head.

"Cool." He started walking ahead and I followed him. After a second, he stopped and faced me. "Shouldn't I be a gentleman and let you walk ahead? I'm so sorry," he uttered, bowing his head a little dramatically, demonstrating to me to walk ahead.

His little action pleased me somehow and I was feeling like a true queen. With a little bit of ease, I started walking and he followed me silently. Unlike some creepy guys who would try to hit on me as soon as they found me alone.

Just when I thought that I was feeling at ease, all the hot feelings and dryness in my mouth rushed back. I could blame his strong pine and cinnamon scent for that.

Klaus was somewhere near me, I could smell his scent.

As expected, I found him hugging a girl at the edge of the cliff. The urge to push that girl off a cliff was brewing in my devilish mind. I wanted to rip those slim hands of hers off his body which circled his neck.

They were talking about something going and coming but I couldn't hear that. All my attention was on his lips. The way his lips parted and curled when he spoke, I wanted to touch them.

I wanted to feel them against my lips again. The memories of that night flashed into my mind and I kept staring at his lips as I wanted to eat him up. I wanted him to touch me. I wanted to cling on to him and claim him as mine so no other woman would again dare to look at him.

He was mine.

Only mine.

My eyes locked with his, my consciousness started knocking out and I fainted the next second.

The unknown guy who was standing closer to me uttered something before my eyes closed and instead of falling to the ground, I fell into his arms. He held me but within a second, I was pulled into someone else's arms and I was so familiar with those arms.

The arms where I belonged.

The touch that my body was craving.

The closeness that my heart wanted.

Klaus. My mate.

"She's going into her first heat, perhaps," a female voice fell in my ears which I assumed to be that bitch's voice.

"What? How's that possible? We just met a week ago. Werewolves go into their first heat after meeting their mate and after the first full moon which takes almost a month," he said in a panicked voice and I heard that bitch's gasp.

"I'm his mate and he's mine," my conscience shouted in my head and I felt victorious as if I had won a war.

"She is your mate...?" I heard that bitch and the guy who helped me saying in unison as if it was so hard to believe.

For a while, there was pin-drop silence though Klaus kept trying to wake me up but I couldn't open my eyes or say something.

"If I reject her now, will her heating process end?" My asshole mate asked his whore.

"Are you out of your mind, brother? That's impossible, now. She is not even waking up, I'm worried. You know very well what to do, it's you only who can save her. I'm pretty sure that she has got strong genes that's why she controlled hard, otherwise, you know very well how she-wolves lose their control during their heat. Please, brother, save her."
