Three weeks had passed in a blink of an eye. I felt like I had spent an entire decade just by sitting. Why? Because Lorenzo King didn't let me do anything except sit like a blockage and watch tv. The process was done smoothly. I didn't even realize when they injected a baby inside me.

I didn't need to do anything in this house. Even if I wanted to fetch the water, someone would bring it up to me. At first, I thought that living a rich life was wonderful but now, my guess was proven wrong. Perhaps, my body just couldn't take the habit of doing nothing. I had no job, nothing to work out. Thankfully, Lorenzo King was kind enough to let me online classes. Because everything I did, he thought that I was exhausting the baby.

I couldn't believe that a baby was growing inside me,a life which was fully depending on me. This kind of feeling was overwhelming except for the fact that I had to leave him or her right after giving birth.

My sore feelings were distracted when my phone started to ring from my side. A smile creepted on my smile, looking at the caller ID. It was Emily, my best friend. After she learnt that I had taken this offer, she was more than happy for me and shifted to the hostel in order to save her cost.

" Val...You forgot me after having your baby, huh!", she grumbled through the speaker, feigning pathetic. I just laughed out loud at her little drama.

My baby? Mine?

No, he belongs to Mr.King only.

My stomach crunched at this painful feeling. It was not my baby but it sounded nice in my ears. Occasionally, I stroked my stomach to feel his presence. I replied, pushing my thoughts to give away,

" Emily, how are you doing? I just..had to go through a lot of medical things like you know."

Emily hummed with understanding, and replied excitedly,

" Just kidding! I know how it feels difficult. Anyways, I have a superb plan to light up your movie. Today is the weekend. Can we watch movies together? I promise to leave you at your home safely. Please Val! I missed you so much these days. "

I bit my lips together, hesitating. I would love to accompany her since I was also bored at home. But will Mr.King allow it? I had no idea. However, the terms didn't say that I couldn't go out without his permission. So I agreed quickly, cutting the phone call to get ready immediately,

" Okay! Send me your location and I will come to you."

" Miss, you can't step outside except Sir's order. Please take his permission first!", the guard from the main door stopped me.

" What??", I spat shooting a glare in disbelief. Now, I needed permission to go out? What did he think of me? A prisoner?

Fuming in rage, I stormed back to the house, knowing that he was working in his ass off in his study as it was weekend.

Fuck manners!

I barged inside his study to find him, talking on the phone. He lifted his eyebrows questioning at my sudden arrival. I raised my voice to demand an answer,

" Mr.King..Did you ask those guards to not let me leave? Is that true?"

He finished his phone call fast, replied after dropping the phone,

" Yes! You can't go outside as per your wish, Miss Avery. I can't take any risk when it comes to my child. Whatever you need, it will be brought here."

I erupted into laughter then started to rumble my words out,

" I am not a fucking prisoner, Mr.King. There was no term saying that I can't leave without your permission. You heard me? You can't trap me in this house. I feel mentally sick here."

" ENOUGH!", he shouted, raising up from his chair to glare at me. He continued, slamming his hands on the table,

" I thought, I was being respectful to you, Miss Avery but you must do what I say without arguing. You aren't going anywhere in this months. That's an order! Don't forget that you are just an employee."

Tears burnt my eyes angrily. Exhaling heavily through my nose, I spat back stubbornly, giving him a middle finger before storming outside,

" You know what? I will do what I wish. Try to stop me then we will see who can break the contract."

His face turned black in no moment. Before he could stop me or lecture me more harshly, I ran out of the house.

" What! Sex??", Emily barked, spitting out her liquor in shock.

" Quiet!", I hussed her, glancing back at the men, sent by Lorenzo King. He did let me out finally but under one condition that his men will follow me around. He kept stick to his words. Now, we were having fun inside a bar with dozen of men, watching over me. But I liked the fact that he tried to be patience with me when I was fussing around over how he grounded me in the hous.

Emily looked shocked after she listened to the words that my doctor suggested before surrogacy. So, I shared it with her in order to find some help. Emily looked thoughtful then muttered giving me a thoughtful glare,

" Why don't you try texting him once? He might forgive you now, Val. It had been a long time."

My expression darkened knowing very well who she was reffering exactly. I swallowed the uneasy lump in my throat. Two years had passed already and we didn't contact each others for once. But I had a gut feeling that he wasn't going to push me away if I tried harder. Besides, I didn't want to have sex with someone without feeling. I wanted to feel to be loved not to be fucked only. In this situation, he was the only option here.

I took a big gulp of my juice reluctantly. In no way, those guards were going to let me drink wine here. Even Lorenzo King found it out, I would be dead undoubtedly.

After a long sigh, I picked out my mobile phone to tap on something. Although so many words I had crossing in my mind, I ended up typing only few words shortly,

" Hey...I..I missed you..Can we at least talk or meet somewhere.. Please.."
